    frozen margs

Brews & Bites is a fun spot to grab a drink, especially if you're looking for a casual place to cool off. My friend and I stopped by during happy hour and ordered the frozen margaritas with Tajín on the rim, and they were refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for a warm afternoon. We also took advantage of the happy hour specials and ordered the chips and guacamole along with the beer cheese and pretzel. Both were tasty and made for great snacks to share while enjoying our drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly, making it an enjoyable place to spend some time. My only downside was the pricing outside of the happy hour specials. While the deals from 4 PM to 6 PM are definitely worth it, the regular menu prices felt a bit high for what you get. Overall, I'd still recommend stopping by, especially during happy hour. The frozen margaritas were delicious, the appetizers hit the spot, and it's a great place to unwind with friends.

Our team came here for dinner after our company event. Perfect place to unwind and mingle. The menu has the typical grill selection and drinks. We shared a few appetizers then ordered dinner. I got the chicken sandwich and fries. It was really good!! Exceeded my expectations! Really beautiful views of the water with boats going by. Overall fun vibe!

Great place to grab food and drinks by the river. Highly recommend coming on a Thursday night for live music and the art on the mart. Dog friendly too!

Trivia: What type of pickle finds its way onto the Chicago dog? This has a wonderful view of the river and some of the architecturally significant buildings to gaze upon. The Chicago dog was great and the beer was cold. Service was okay. I was surprised with how long the hot dog took. My friend had ordered fries and was almost finished with them. I figured my buzzer must have been broken so I wandered down to the kitchen, but wasn't sure where to pick up food or who to ask. But then my buzzer went off. It was weird. Not busy at all, long wait time. But the hot dog was tasty!

Nice outdoor patio, good food and drinks, although their Hugo spritz was pretty sweet! Came here for a company lunch and the food was great

Nice patio area for seating on the river. Drinks were fast and good. Chicken ceaser salad was a bit of a wait, chicken is seasoned good but not worth the wait in my opinion

To be completely transparent, I didn't have high expectations for this spot. It's on the riverwalk and most the riverwalk food is pretty meh. Of course, the view of merchandise mart is great. The service was surprisingly attentive and everybody was sweet. We got the lamb burger and the chicken sandwich. Honestly, I was blown away. It's not anything crazy, but simple, fresh ingredients prepared well. If I have a craving for a burger, I would definitely come back again. So good and so affordable too!

I visited Brews and Bites in Chicago with a group of four during my trip, and I absolutely loved it. The location is right on the Riverwalk, and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual afternoon. I brought my dog Mojo along, and they were super welcoming. Being able to relax by the water with friends and my dog was such a highlight. I ordered a wheat beer, and my friend got a piña colada. We shared chips and guacamole and also ordered some nachos. I wish I had taken a picture of the chips and guac because they were easily the star of the meal. The nachos were fine, but the guacamole and chips were a hundred percent better. The chips were homemade and honestly some of the best tortilla chips I have ever had--crispy, fresh, and perfectly salted. The service was friendly, and the overall vibe made it a great experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping by if you are on the Riverwalk. And definitely get the chips and guac. I will be dreaming about those chips.

They played good music and wasn't too loud. You could easily carry on a conversation or , like me, continue listening to a podcast. By the time I finished, the place was completely full and a bit noisy, but not bad. I started out with a 10oz Birds of Prey Pilsner. It was very nice. Light and crisp and very easy to drink. I followed that up with Melodious Maibock and ordered the CBG burger with fries. I didn't have lunch so I dove right in and forgot to snap a photo. It was a very good smash burger. It was cooked well and I really liked the combination of pickled onion and caramelized onion. I didn't see it until later but you can add bacon. As much as I loved this burger, bacon would totally take it up a notch! I started chatting with the bartender about their different beers and decided to have the Super Melodious Jalapeño Maibock with the burger. It's soooo different, but in a good way. It paired so well with the burger. You get green bell pepper on the nose and a hint of it on the palate. When you swallow you get a little heat at the back of the throat. It was so good! Great bar. Great food. Great beer. Go check them out!
