    Strawberry Margaritas
    Ally C.

Was walking around and stopped here for dinner. I got three chicken tacos and a strawberry margarita for $30. The margarita was given to me immediately and the food was brought out shortly there after. The portion size was nothing crazy, but filling for a meal. I did think the tacos were a little dry though, even with the sauce served. Be warned- it's spicy! The atmosphere is quite nice and although it doesn't overlook the water, you're still in the general area. It's sectioned off enough where you don't feel stressed from the busy atmosphere of the street. I probably wouldn't return for food, but the drink was quite tasty.

Stopped by for a quick snack before dinner. The churro fries were delicious. The only issue is that it started raining and they didn't have any covering. I did hear to come back for coffee in the morning from a local.

I visited Chicago for my first time and came here twice! Once with my sorority sister and the other time later that day by myself. I absolutely love the vibe as a fellow Hispanic and it gave such summery vibes! The food was absolutely yummy and our frozen margs were strong! We did the mango and prickly pear flavors. The staff and service was kind and overall I really enjoyed finding community at this bar.

Enjoyed dinner at this spot tonight. I had the Nachos and Taquitos and both were pretty good. Nice spot with great views of the river. All outdoor seating.

I walk past this place on my way to work. It's such a cute little place and looks so festive and I have been dying to sit out and enjoy some street food and a margarita while watching people go by and enjoy the views of the Chicago River. During my lunch hour I ordered steak tacos and a margarita. Very expensive, but definitely taking into consideration and that they are located in the River North area but the price did it feel worth what I ordered. The tacos were mediocre at best and strangely, they topped my tacos with Parmesan cheese. The margarita was standard. I would definitely sit here again and maybe enjoy a cool beverage but I think I would pass on the food. The ladies serving were pleasant enough. There wasn't much interaction with them, but I think they should have given me more detail about the cheese they were putting on the taco, so that was a negative.

Great vibes! They play a lot of Latin music! I have the horchata latte was delicious!! A must stop place on the River!

I've been wanting to try this place because just from driving by, it stands out being in a great location by the river north, surrounded by the buildings. Finally had time to stop by, before the winter hits, and it's more snack food than actual dishes but I really enjoyed them. I love the option of creating your own margarita as well as other variety cocktails. No indoor space, just the stand to order and all seating outside but I love the trees surrounding and creating some privacy from the constant foot traffic you see. The overall attitudes were very positive, especially form the waiter delivering the food. Super sweet and made sure we didn't need anything else. Overall very happy we stopped by.

They have build your own margaritas. Need I say more? This is a fun place on the river to take out of town guests, or just to enjoy tasty margs and the views of the river / skyline! The staff was so friendly, the vibe was energetic, and the nachos are great treat to chase everything down.

Mexican Affogato, Churro Fries, and Carne Asada Tacos

This place is perfect for a light lunch near the Chicago River in downtown. Who doesn't love sitting outdoors in a cool breeze near the river?! There was music playing in the background and outdoor patio tables and chairs. I ordered the food at the counter and waited about 10 minutes for the food to come out. When I saw Mexican Affogato on the drinks menu, I knew I had to try it. And I'm glad I did. It is like a fun kids drink for grownups. There were about two scoops of vanilla ice cream in a sea of espresso, sprinkled with a dash of spice. It was the perfect mix of spice and sweetness. The size is generous too. The Churro Fries and the Carne Asada Tacos came next. The slim Churro Fries were tasty and easy for dipping into the chocolate sauce. I wish the chocolate sauce were warmer and more liquidy. It was a bit too solid and thick, but I still enjoyed it. The Carne Asada Tacos had a generous serving of beef and went well with the salsa and diced onions and tomatoes. For all three items, the bill came out to about $45. A bit pricey, but worth the visit.

Games for the kids while you wait or while kids wait for adults to finish their meal in peace. they have corn hole/ " bags" too

We were so happy with everything! Our server was wonderful! The entire staff was so friendly and on top of their game! We never waited for anything. They were immediately refilling our waters, offering more bread, removing dirty plates, replacing silverware, and offering the next course. It was perfect! The views!!! I think there's not a table in NoMi that doesn't have an amazing view. The main, large window faces the lake (East). Arriving just at 7, you get the full affect of the city, and lake, and then the sunset and lights of the buildings. It was absolutely magical. I couldn't get enough of it. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and clean, but honestly it could have been a pit and I wouldn't have noticed. You'll be focused on the views for the entire evening. The food!!! Everything is very fresh. It's all well-prepared. Everything was delicious. There's a good variety of dishes to choose from. Plenty of healthy, low-carb options. We each ordered our own appetizers. I had the crispy Maitake mushrooms and my husband had the mussels. We both loved our food and left nothing on our plates. Excellent choices, that we highly recommend. As our main course we shared the sushi platter. The seafood was fresh and the sushi didn't have too much rice. It was the perfect amount of food with our appetizers. They have an extensive wine and drink menu. For drinks I had a glass of the Sauvignon blanc and my husband had a red blend. For dessert we weren't really hungry enough to eat anything else but my husband wanted a pallet cleanser. They have a few sorbets. My husband settled on the cherry cola sorbet. They brought it out with a little chocolate that said "Happy Anniversary" in French. They did not add it to our bill. Very sweet of them. It was probably one of the best anniversaries we've ever had. The bill was about $230 before tip. We highly recommend coming here for any special occasion.

We bought the tickets that included the Tilt, the Observation Deck, and the CloudBar. That was the way to have the complete experience on the 94th Floor of the John Hancock Building. The views are spectacular!! Look up and there are mirrors on the ceiling! Lots of cool photo ops! We enjoyed it here. There needs to be more organized seating all around the 360 because the place is packed. There are some tables closest to the Bar but not around the entire deck. You have to hold your drink the whole time and get bumped into. There is no obvious line at the bar and you accidentally go in front of other people who thought they were in line and they get upset. There are also mini bleachers where people were spilling their drinks because there was no place to put their drinks. The floor was sticky and wet. We got alcohol spilled on us from those climbing down the bleachers. Not a pleasant experience. The drinks were ok. My Magnificent Margarita was too sweet for my taste and it was a generous pour. My daughter had the Crossbeam and was able to select what she preferred. I should have done that one. The bartender was friendly and nice despite how busy he was. There are restrooms for men and women but the women's is not very big or wide. The line is mostly outside the restroom. It was tight in there. Would we go again? Yes.

That said, this place just completely disappointed. The food was just not good. I had the burger sliders and for $9 a piece you expect them to be something special. They were not. Overcooked with a little sauce and two pickles slapped on the bun with a tiny little dab of fake cheese - it was like a bad and way more expensive version of McDonald's. The onion rings were the frozen crumbly kind not the fresh beer battered kind and so that's a big "no!" for me. The dipping sauce was okay. Service was friendly and I think the guy was new but it wasn't good enough for a place like that at the top of the building. There were two servers so I'm guessing one was training maybe. They didn't make it to my table to check to see if everything was okay while I was eating and it even took them a while to notice that I was done eating. It's was slow so I don't think they were stressing with too many tables. That kind of place should knock your socks off - but it was on the low end of mediocre. I wouldn't go there again for food.
