After we experienced the Tilt, we went directly to the Observation Deck, which is where the CloudBar is located. Once you enter the Deck, go to your right. We bought the tickets that included the Tilt, the Observation Deck, and the CloudBar. That was the way to have the complete experience on the 94th Floor of the John Hancock Building. The views are spectacular!! Look up and there are mirrors on the ceiling! Lots of cool photo ops! We enjoyed it here. There needs to be more organized seating all around the 360 because the place is packed. There are some tables closest to the Bar but not around the entire deck. You have to hold your drink the whole time and get bumped into. There is no obvious line at the bar and you accidentally go in front of other people who thought they were in line and they get upset. There are also mini bleachers where people were spilling their drinks because there was no place to put their drinks. The floor was sticky and wet. We got alcohol spilled on us from those climbing down the bleachers. Not a pleasant experience. The drinks were ok. My Magnificent Margarita was too sweet for my taste and it was a generous pour. My daughter had the Crossbeam and was able to select what she preferred. I should have done that one. The bartender was friendly and nice despite how busy he was. There are restrooms for men and women but the women's is not very big or wide. The line is mostly outside the restroom. It was tight in there. Would we go again? Yes. read more

This was a cool experience if you've never been in a skyscraper before. I don't think I've ever been in a building with 90+ floors. We bought the cheapest ticket which was $30 just to go up. I feel like this is a bit pricey since nothing is included, but it was still a very cool view. Went to the Cloud Bar and got the Feeling Tiltsy. I enjoyed it and it was quite refreshing. This was a one-time novelty experience. I would otherwise never spend $23 before tip for a cocktail. Without even knowing about the special effects on their heavenly martini, that was the option I chose. A guy standing by saw them add the "clouds" to it and promptly ordered it himself as well. Cloud Bar is located at 360 Chicago, so be careful with trip planning and what time and date you go or you'll be trampled by tourists... or kids on a field trip. With average cocktails at a steep price but aye, you're really there for the view. We did the top package so got to do the TILT experience which was not that scary or exciting for me, I thought we were gonna be tilted at a 90 degree angle completely horizontal, but it was less then a 45-degree angle, and they upcharge and push this as an experience....... This is the reason for my 4. stars. You can pay extra for the tilt and then you'll get one drink included from CloudBar. I enjoyed the decor and lots of seating options, countertop bar vibes against the glass looking out at the cityscape and large auditorium-style bleachers to accommodate large groups./ The views from the 94th floor speak for themselves, very informative and set up like a museum, learned alot about Chicago and the different neighborhoods and their rich cultural history while here. Service was great the bartenders were all friendly and Chicago/Illinois locals. Overall a fun place to explore, and have a cocktail would recommend to people but wouldn't ever go back personally. Entering seems like you're heading through a tunnel in Tron which is kind of neat and entertaining. The picture section you just know it's going to be expensive but fun to see the finished product. Once you get to the top there is plenty of room to find a spot to hang out. I went during sunset which was beautiful. The bartenders were VERY busy making drinks, they could probably hire a few more people but I made it easy and ordered something in a can for efficiency. CloudBar-360 is the redesigned, rebranded observatory deck at the former John Hancock building. While I miss the Signature Room there, the CloudBar is a nicely reimagined space for the observatory. It is not the tallest building in Chicago but the views are truly magnificent., and I would come an hour before sun set for the best experience. Tickets can be purchased to include a drink, but you can just go up and order a drink at the bar. Cocktails are not bad (not great either), and I appreciate the selection of some local products like Few whiskey. So perhaps a shot and/or a beer? read more

Cloud Bar at Chicago 360 is a place to grab drinks with a view. It is part of your ticket to the top of the (former) John Hancock building. Drink costs are separate, and they have specials. Fun fact, I came here several years ago when it was called "The Signature Room at the 95th" and was a full blown restaurant. Currently, you can walk completely around the floor, and the windows have the compass directional, in case you are wondering which way you are looking. We got tickets as part of the C3 pass. This was such a fun experience! I'd don't have it in me that day to do the Tilt but I thoroughly enjoyed viewing the skyline and chilling with a cocktail. Our admission came with a drink and I opted for a margarita. I chose a mocktail, the Rainbow Beach, which was a blend of mango, strawberry, lemonade, and club soda. Hubby had the Crossbeam (house liquor and mixer)... and chose rum and Coke. The CloudBar is located in the 360 Building on the 90-something floor. You have to purchase tickets for entry via the 360 building website; definitely purchase online beforehand. Once you get through the entry and elevator lines you are greeted with amazing views of Chicago! We went at night and the city sparkles! Make your way to the back of the floor where the bar is located and lots of seating. Our ticket included a complimentary drink from a selected menu and we ordered the old fashion. To be honest, I didn't have high hopes of the drinks being a tourist attraction; however, excuse me this was a pretty good drink w/ the block ice and orange peel. Always wanted to go here and when our friend visited us, took the opportunity to take her to CloudBar. Parking a little tricky to get to due to all the one way streets in downtown and the spiral drive up the parking is tight!! There are plenty of parking but you have to get on one elevator to the next, depending on what floor you parked. Not many directions on how to pay but I finally figured it out after many elevator rides. And, they do validate by the gift shop, which is about $5 off. We purchased the Sip and View package. Place was packed but we were able to see great 360 views of the city and found several seating areas to enjoy one alcoholic beverage on the list. Bar tender did not skimp with alcohol. This place was pretty cool although the package was a little deceiving. We came up here for the view and a drink. The package didn't specify that you can only order certain drinks, and all on the list sucked... the first bartender I ordered from did not give me an option and gave me the list of gross drinks to order from. My bf took my drink and let me use his ticket to order a basic vodka soda drink, however the second bartender said I could use it and get a regular drink for a cheaper price with the ticket. I gladly ordered an espresso martini, which was a great drink! I feel like it's kind of wrong to have a package with the drink, and it not include one of the good drinks... would have rather just bought the ticket for the view only and just bought a regular drink. The view here is awesome, and the inside of this place is cute too. But I probably would not come back as it is way too touristy feeling. read more

This was part of an overall package I was part of through a group that hosted us for the weekend. Convention, basically. So, this was all included with the event (including Tilt). The bar is nice, though. We had drink vouchers, which meant a specific menu you could order from. I was fine with that, since I didn't have my heart set on any particular beverage. I got a couple of the Chicago Baybreezes (or whatever they were called), which were quite good. Well made and quickly prepared. The service was quick and efficient. They had to serve a LOT of people on a Friday night, so you could tell they were running around a lot! But, all that being said, they did a great job overall. The views are unbeatable, of course! This alone might warrant the return visit. But, it was a good experience, all things considered. They won't win awards for variety of drinks or creative cocktails, but for having to basically operate as a "weekend party bar," they were well worth it. read more

Went to Cloud bar during the air and water show weekend to watch the show. We had to purchase a ticket and select a time to attend. We got there around 10:30am for our 11am time slot. We arrived to the floor and found out it's first come first served seating. This was not noted in the tickets or website. the area was full of tourist as the other side it the tilt ride thing. It was kind of annoying they allowed whoever to be over there if they didn't purchase a sip and view ticket nor reserved a time. One drink is included with the ticket and outside of that the drinks are really pricey around $20+ a drink. There is a small area with snacks that include old looking sandwiches from fat shallot, the greens in the sandwich were very wilted and slimy looking.
