Love and miss press coffee now that I'm working out of town awhile. I always looked forward to the monthly coffee change so I could try Nicaragua, Timor, and all the continents of coffee. Ethiopia was good, Honduras. The coffee here is unbelievable. I always enjoy the cheery baristas too. I' can only hope to find a new coffee cafe as wonderful as press. Or get back to Tempe soon. Thank you press! I enjoyed your coffee daily for months !

No matter how many times I come to this location. I always seem to be underwhelmed by the coffee.

This location in 100 mill Tempe is hands down my favorite press coffee spot. They have the best blends. The baristas are friendly, ready to customize your coffee to your needs. Service is quick There's a little to go section with wraps, salads, and small bites from EAT by Stacey Weber. If you have a sweet tooth like me and love to grab baked goods at cafes don't miss out on the Chacónne pastries. For the uninitiated Pastry Chef Mark Chacón is a James Beard Award semifinalist. Ambiance is pleasant. Finding parking can be a bit tricky. Definitely check them out if you haven't. Cheers!

Really glad such a great cafe exists so closely to my apartment building! Carter was a great barista and made such a well-crafted almond milk latte for me. It was so smooth and delicious! Press really knows what they're doing and I can see why they're well-known. The place is so Brooklyn and so hip, with a white, modern ambiance. It's a great place to hang out by yourself or with a friend. They've made it into a cozy little space with both indoor and outdoor seating. I definitely recommend checking it out if you want a quality cup of coffee!

I was taking a spin class in the area and needed to kill time so I was looking for a local coffee shop and one of my friends recommended this place so we went. It's in a very nice area - inside of a commercial building and it looks like there's a lot of businesses in that area. When you first turn in there's barely any parking like 5 spots maybe and they are mainly 15 minute spots. So I had to pull out and go to one of the parking garages - they also don't validate parking so you are on your own lol. The coffee shop itself is tiny - there are some bar stools if you want to sit there but otherwise the lounge area of the building is nice and spacious to chill. Since it was my first time there I wanted to try their popular drink which was the espresso honey cinnamon shaken drink which was not overwhelming at all! It tasted like cinnamon toast crunch in a drink! The barista was super sweet as well and answered all the questions that I asked regarding the drinks. Try it out if you have time!

They always have fun inspirational quotes too!

The seasonal Pumpkin Spice was on point! Erin is one of the best baristas lately! When she makes your drink you can tell she puts so much effort! I love how the milk always tastes so frothy and velvety. Hopefully management sees her talent and promotes her to a head trainer or something! A lot of others could learn from her

I enjoy going to press coffee for early morning meetings. This morning was no different. I showed up at 7am and ordered a drip coffee, ordered a SW burrito for myself and an avocado toast for my homie. As usual the folks at press were polite, helpful and made friendly small talk. The coffee was poured immediately and comes hot in a reusable press mug. (They also have to-go) I enjoy the coffee here because it is not burnt tasting like the big brands. If you get a seat near to the wall you will have an outlet for your laptop. I would advise against planning a business meeting here in the afternoon because it gets busy, crowded and noisy. It's a great place to have out.

Chalking my review of Press up to getting the wrong thing, but it really was just a 3.0 star experience for me. This particular Press Coffee is attached to an apartment complex and is currently in an area with a bit of construction going on. Parking wasn't an issue when I dropped by and there is a good deal of seating both inside and outside this place. Outlets are present if you want to hunker down and study and they do have food/pastries though it seems that the kitchen closes for food at a set time -- 3:00 pm if I'm not mistaken. Now I had heard a lot about Press and was so excited to try it. On this particular visit, I went for the nitro cold brew and sadly I was a bit let down by what I got. The nitro cold brew came out in a tepid shade of light light brown and even seemed to have a orange hue. I was asked if I was drinking beer or tea by a friend who joined me later in the day and my response of "nitro cold brew" left him somewhat confused. The flavor of the cold brew was much too tart for me and I was not the biggest fan of this drink -- as you can clearly see. However, I do think it was a case of me getting the wrong thing at the wrong place. Perhaps a latte to win my taste buds back? I am definitely open to going back and trying a different drink that might make me change my mind, but for now, I think a 3.0 is a generous rating based on the drink I had.

The ice latte was really milky. It tasted like I was drinking milk. I'm not sure if there is even much coffee in it. The color of the drink was light. I spent $6 for a large. It came out quickly.

My only complaint is that they didn't have caramel for a caramel latte. I ended up getting an iced coconut caramel latte and it was $8 for 12 ounces, which seems extremely expensive for a small coffee. The coffee was good, but strange that they didn't have regular caramel.

My daughter and I walked up to the counter ready to order, and I knew I wanted a mocha--but I wasn't completely sure. Hunter stepped right up to the register, already fired up and ready to help. I asked him, "Do you think I want a mocha?" and without hesitation he said yes! We both laughed, and then he suggested adding vanilla, which had me completely sold. Then he started talking to my daughter about a couple of other drink options, and wow--he had me reconsidering my whole order! My daughter reminded me that I don't like prickly pear, but Hunter kindly let me sample it anyway. Sure enough, I still didn't like it--but he made it sound so delicious and refreshing that I almost believed I would! We left already planning our next visit just to see Hunter again. If you get the chance to have an encounter with him, take it! He truly knows the products and how to market them. And most importantly--the drinks were excellent!!!

Some of my favorite coffee in the valley, they use high quality coffee beans that really shines through in every drink- I love how their drinks are usually just subtly sweet and don't overpower the drink. I also love that they make some of their syrups in house, which really elevates the drinks they make. highly recommend the almond croissant if you're able to get one before they sell out, it's truly divine. Ive also tried their chai before, which was well spiced and balanced, the strawberry matcha is a great drink as well. I've also tried their protein slayer shake which was good (except i'm not the biggest fan of vegan protein powder). Looking forward to my next visit!

Even tho I'm a consistent helper, I always use Yelp to navigate a new city or to find the local places of the neighborhood I'm in. Lucky for me, it led me to Gio's organic coffee! I know the 414 Mill shops as I've been to the boutique shops in here many times. They're all new shops so it's worth stopping in. I love the waterfall courtyards inside. Check my photos! Gio had amazing coffee, shipped from Peru. The beans come from her family farm in Peru and they get shipped over the ocean and travel all the way to Tempe. It's quite amazing. They have lovely flaky pastries too. Quaint Seating inside and out. Very peaceful spot inside the shops. The coffee is amazing with a smooth rich flavor. I got an organic drip choice but I'll be back for the lavendar latte. Def stop in, it's such a treat to drink coffee from Peru, you must try it!

Service is genuinely great: friendly, patient, and welcoming. Coffee is good, and the pastries are fresh and nicely presented, making it a solid stop for a casual coffee break or breakfast. You can tell they care about quality and customer experience. That said, the interior could feel a bit cozier. The white walls combined with the exposed steel appliances give the space a more industrial feel, which doesn't quite match the warm, intimate vibe the café seems to be aiming for. A change in wall color or softer finishes would make a big difference. When I visited, they were experiencing issues with the coffee machine. The staff handled it very kindly and professionally, but it did affect waiting time and efficiency -- especially considering there were only a couple of customers at the time.
