This place is really adorable! it has the perfect ambience for your girl group to come and visit. It has giant games it has enough seating and also it's a very cute out of the way area so you won't feel rushed out or anything like that. The food is OK I would say like many cafés in the area. It is terribly underseasoned. Me and my entire group kept asking for sauces on the side and hot sauce because it just really had almost no flavor. You could tell it was fresh ingredients but at the same time I think they could definitely be more conscious of the flavor. The price is OK but again, because the food is under flavored, I feel like I was left wanting a little bit. But again this is not a big fix, and I think even offering like sauces on the side or certain types of additional flavoring could really boost this place up. I would definitely come again.

A lovely cute cafe! I stopped by with a friend on a beautiful day and enjoyed lunch outside. Conveniently located in downtown Chester it makes it the perfect stop while walking around town. It is order at the counter and seat yourself then they bring your food out to you. The staff was super friendly! I enjoyed the Korean chicken salad wrap which was flavorful along with the taro latte. They had such different types of lattes like a carrot cake latte that sounded delicious! I thought it was a bit pricey for the portions but I would return because of its unique menu

I've always loved Pren Kitchen and I love this new and updated "Pren Cafe" even more! First off, I loved that it's a cafe opened all day (till 7:30p). Next, the menu had such great options and everything was so tasty (the feta onion puffs are a must). Service was also outstanding. The icing on top is that everything is made fresh! And of course, they still have their books and games available, which matches the cute and comfy ambience nicely. It's so nice having a cafe like this in the area. We'll definitely be back!

An interesting establishment, Pren is tucked away from Chester's main street. The place seems more like a converted home where the interior represents a basic, if not sterile, style although the high prices would indicate otherwise. Although the food is good, the dessert blew me away: Homemade strawberry ice cream with homemade whipped cream over a homemade brownie. Absolutely stellar. The best part about Pren is the service. All servers work in concert to help customers. They're knowledgeable and kind and are the sole reason Pren has a four-star rating.

Good quality and fresh ingredients. Restaurant is small but quite cozy. The staff was lovely.

Went there after apple picking. The decor is very modern. There are board games there you can play with (it kept my toddler busy while we wait for the food). The staff was great, they only had one chef so it took a little longer but they make sure we are taken care of while we wait. The food was really good, it's flavorful but yet light. I don't go for healthy food normally but it felt very healthy. Pren fries was great and not oily, my toddler loved it. Bae was really really good. Chicken waffle is different from what I expected but I'm a good way. The Sriracha was good and not too spicy that my toddler would eat it. We were not sure about dessert because our toddler is allergic to nuts I was so happy we got the blueberry pie. It looks good and tastes even better. Very fresh. Would definitely come back again when we are in the area.

Came on a weekday and it was surprisingly full for lunch. They have a normal sized menu and service was friendly and timely. Their crab cake sandwich was good! Not too fishy or dry. They gave you a good amount of crab meat as well. The fries were perfect and fresh. I would recommend this restaurant to try at least once!

Praise for Pren Kitchen and its staff. Got to give it to this restaurant they really impressed me with their simple Mushroom soup and a Ginger Pork Burger with Red Miso Aioli it was delicious. My compliments to the chef. A chef's kiss to this place. The service was amazing (something that is missed by many restaurants) my compliments to management for training a young staff to be so friendly and polite. We need more places like Pren kitchen it makes going out fun.

Ordered a classic iced coffee with oat milk and vanilla and my husband got a black coffee. Both were great. Had a great taste to them. Really loved it and can proudly say this will be a regular stop for me now. They have an assortment of pastries, however we didn't purchase any this time around. Hope to try some out the next time I stop in!

The amaretto iced coffee is smooth, slightly sweet, and easy to drink, and the chocolate chip scone understood the assignment, buttery, loaded with chips, and gone way too fast. Inside, you've got shelves stacked with coffee jars like a caffeine apothecary, burlap coffee sacks casually flexing their single-origin credentials, and just enough cozy chaos to remind you this place is serious about beans. Outside, there's a festive little setup with lights, a giant present looking entrance (Santa clearly approves), and a tiny free library because caffeine and books are a power combo. Taylor's Ice Cream Parlor - Nice old-timey feel

We were nearby so decided to explore Chester's "Main Street" while in the area. Parked the car and…read morewalked around. This was the last stop as we needed a sweet treat. This looks like a good old fashioned ice cream parlor so the name is certainly fitting. Maybe 3 tables with chairs inside and a few more outside. They sell a lot of flavors of ice cream from unicorn (berry ice cream based!) to seasonal flavors like apple pie. They also have sundaes, milkshakes, soft serves, ice cream cookies sandwiches, and maybe even more that I completely missed. Oh yes! And a vegan selection which was a pleasant surprise for my sister who is vegan. We ended up getting: Cookies and Cream (1 scoop) in a wafer cone - this was for one of my kids. A classic flavor and it was full of cookie chunks. Also, I just add that "one scoop" was HUGE and could have easily been 2 scoops. My kid wanted whipped cream on top and the server said it would be too high and we got a small cup full of whipped cream on the side. Soft serve (vanilla) in a cup - got this for my kid with the food allergies. Soft serve tends to be safe as long as you're not allergic to milk. He originally wanted a twist, but they only had soft serve at the time. He liked it fine and ate half (it's quite a lot of it for a 4 year old). Cookie Butter (1 scoop) in a cup [vegan] - my vegan sister got this to share with her husband. It's actually not listed on the board but the flavor she wanted was out (something about raspberry chocolate chunk). They said it was good but it did have a more crumbly texture and they said there was the flavor of banana in it. I wonder what the base is for their vegan ice cream! I didn't get anything for myself because I ended up eating half of the cookies and cream and finishing the soft serve. If I did? I'd probably try a seasonal flavor in a waffle cone. With the exceptional service and great value and taste of the ice cream, this is definitely the place to go if you're nearby. I'd definitely go again if I had the chance. And if you're vegan, you have a decent amount of fun flavors to choose from! They don't have public restrooms and there's only street parking, but it's free.

The place is nicely decorated with college banners which I assume is from all the kids that have worked there over the years. I got a pralines and cream cone and my wife had a cup of mint. Ice cream was very good! There's a couple of tables inside, but we ate on one of the benches outside. Chester is a very cool town and it's just fun to relax in this small town atmosphere.
