I give my highest recommendation to Premo Electric! From scheduling through the excellent craftsmanship they are just fantastic! I did the scheduling with George and he was so responsive both via email and phone calls. They have now done two projects at our house and scheduling of both was simple and efficient. Both times Niall came out to do the work. The first job was simple replacing 2 existing light fixtures with Ring Floodlight Wired Cameras. Niall was professional and knowledgable. He also just does fantastic work! While Niall was there I showed him a project we had planned to put bistro lighting in our courtyard. He offered suggestions on ways to make the electrical work more aesthetic and also more efficient (moving a switch to the inside of the house). Due to his excellent design, I showed his ideas to our landscape contractor who suggested we use his suggested and services over his own company. Niall came out and did not disappoint! He was able to Provide & install 120V switched GFCI outlet at new exterior location in our courtyard along with 1-gang recessed mounting box & weather resistant in-use cover utilizing existing circuitry. He also installed a new LED dimmer switch inside making the space much more functional. He did this all with NO drywall or stucco damage! After getting an estimate from George and Richard, I had a Tesla Wall Connector installed by Christian and Peter. Christian called ahead, prior to arriving within the time window they predicted. They quickly evaluated the situation and selected the most advantageous route for the cabling throuh my garage in order to install the device at the location I selected. They were pleasant to work with and completed the installation without having to cut power to my home. The final price was within the estimated window. Short answer: YES, DEFINITLY RECOMMEND! Long answer: We tried installing new pendant lights ourselves and made the mistake of trying to finish the job in the dark. We ended up simply not connecting 2 wires which sent us down a very costly road. The first electrician, Checo Electric, came and messed things up even worse, causing 2 of the recessed lights to go out. He told us he really doesn't know at this point how to fix the issue and needed to come back to troubleshoot or just rewire the entire thing which included putting new holes in the wall. So we passed on having him come back. The second electrician, ER Electric (you can read my reviews for this company also), almost fixed the issue, but then ended up ghosting us and never came back or replied to any of our texts/phone calls. Very strange! Our third company, Premo Electric was our last hope. Benny came out and he fixed the issue in 30 minutes. He also repaired the 2 recessed lights that the first electrician caused to go out and that the second electrician said it couldn't be repaired unless all 6 were done (at $150 a piece!). If you want an honest electrician that won't waste your time and knows what they are doing, call Premo Electric!!! read more

Based on the reviews, much like everyone else here, I hired Premo to wire up a hot tub that had just been installed. I called and talked to George who said that he didn't have anything until next week and I told him that I would find someone else. Then he called back and said he had someone who could do it that day. Great. So two guys showed up and told me I needed parts that they didn't have and couldn't get until next week. They demanded that I pay for the parts and their time and they would come back. UGH! They came back which is why I gave them a 2 but these guys are way over priced which is why I gave them a 2. I've called them on previous jobs and they don't seem to know how to "bid" a job or give free estimates. By the time they come out and tell you what it will cost, you're already into them for $150 so they get you coming and going it seems. Seriously, Niall and Pete did a superb job installing three of our crystal ceiling lights in our closet! I had two lights in there previously and it had to be re-centered because we had added some built-in drawers on one side of the wall. I had an 15 amp electrical breaker go out. I tried to reset it and it would not fully engage. I reached to Premo Electric on their website. I got a response within an hour from Richard. Richard walked me through resetting the breaker. He explained to me because it was two 15 amp breakers that were linked together I had to reset them it the exact same time. He also explained the mechanical reason behind it. He did not charge me for my time and was very happy to save us both time. Richard was easy to communicate with and very helpful. I wanted to get an estimate to replace an old SDGE old panel and upgrade to a 200 amp panel. The person that answered the phone was rude and brief and wasn't interested! The minute I mentioned that a trench is needed he couldn't wait to hang up and said they don't do trenching. By the way the trenching is a very short run and not in the public right of way and all work would be in dirt and a cut in a concrete driveway. I respect and understand that some electricians don't wanna deal with trenching and multiple agencies, but you can always decline professionally and respectfully. This is not about their workmanship because I don't know that, it's all about the first interaction. read more
