I cannot recommend this company - just too many issues. We…read morehad a bathtub and 2 Pedestal sinks fully reglazed and a kitchen sink chip area patched and spot reglazed. In the beginning Alfredo Garcia communicated to us with email and phone, but we realized he did not always relay information to the workers. His workers were typically late and they were sloppy in my opinion. Never apologized and always had some defensive excuse. The first worker to prep arrived late and did not speak a word of english which made our initial discussions difficult to say the least. We pointed out overspray on nickel plumbing pipes, which they came back to clean up and they initially put masking tape that removed paint on our newly painted door frame after we discussed using low tack tape on all painted surfaces. We did ask and get a credit to have the painter repair the paint. Recently, I have emailed Alfredo 3 times because within 2 months our kitchen sink is peeling at the spot they glazed. No response at all to remedy the situation. Very dissappointing!

I can't say enough good things about SM Furniture Repair in Paramount. I brought them a wide…read morekitchen drawer that had completely fallen apart -- the bottom had separated from the back and it was no longer usable for storing our heavy pots and pans. From the moment I arrived, the experience was outstanding. They understood exactly what needed to be done and got right to work. They didn't just glue it back together -- they reinforced the structure with nails and added hidden supports underneath to make sure it could handle real weight. And to top it off, they did it fast -- I was blown away by how quickly and professionally they turned it around. The craftsmanship is excellent. The drawer feels sturdier than it ever did. And they were warm, honest, and straightforward about the repair process and cost. If you have any furniture or cabinet repair -- especially those small but frustrating jobs most big places won't even look at -- SM Furniture Repair is the real deal. Old-school skill, great service, and fair pricing. Highly recommended!

He handled it like a pro. But he subsequently stood me up for two other jobs: no call and no return phone calls. Maybe there is an accountability problem. I want my table back that he agreed to repair. I wonder where it is? This is my second time writing and asking about it. It is just so unprofessional and that is not how he represents himself. GREAT JOB ON BATHTUB AND TILE REGLAZE…read more==================================== Our 1950 era tub and possibly tile had been a dusty rose color originally. When the house was updated in 2001 everything was painted white including the tub and tile. I think we had it reglazed at some point, but it only lasts so long. So I started searching for places that could do the tub and the tile. Getting a estimate was easy. I just had to send Fermin a few photos and I got a quote quickly. Then we set up an appointment and Christian was there promptly at the time scheduled. He did a great job, so I highly recommend them.

I spoke with James, who promptly requested that I send photographs of the damage. Within thirty minutes, I received a very reasonable estimate. Initially, James informed me that the earliest available appointment was on Friday. However, when I mentioned that my family would be arriving on Wednesday and that I would appreciate completing the repairs beforehand, he went above and beyond. To my pleasant surprise, he was able to accommodate me just two hours later on the same day. It was an added relief that the technician who had previously repaired my tub ten years prior arrived at our doorstep. Miguel performed the work with the same high standards as before. He is very professional, a nice and friendly guy with thorough attention to detail and evident pride in his craftsmanship. He left the workspace neat, and the bathtub now appears to be in excellent condition. The three- to five-year durability of the repair speaks to the quality of ProTub's craftsmanship. Should I require further services such as reglazing or refinishing in the future, ProTub will undoubtedly be my first choice. I sincerely

Over the years, we have worked closely with Luis, and a few qualities have consistently stood out: he is always punctual, offers fair pricing, and delivers remarkable results. This time, we decided to move forward with a project Luis recommended: refinishing one of the wood laminate kitchen countertops in our rental unit. Initially, I expected the result to look like a simple repaint, especially considering how worn and faded the laminate surface had become. However, once I saw the finished work, I could hardly believe my eyes. It genuinely looked as though we had replaced the countertop with granite. The finish appeared solid, durable, and waterproof. Luis and his team did an outstanding job. I was truly blown away by both the quality of the workmanship and the final result. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos, but judging by the many client photos already available, you can clearly see the level of quality they consistently deliver. Would I use Always Refinishing again and highly recommend their work? Absolutely: 100%.

After my first review, Don contacted me directly and asked for another opportunity to earn my…read morebusiness. I agreed, gave SoCal Stairs a second chance, and accepted a revised proposal. Before fabrication, I asked that the design be clearly documented because this is a custom staircase. My request was simply to have the final design, post locations, mounting method, wood profile, and other critical details documented either in the renderings, shop drawings, or contract so there would be no misunderstandings during fabrication. Instead of working through those requests, I was told that providing that level of documentation would add approximately $2,500 to the project and that SoCal Stairs would no longer move forward with my project due to workload and the amount of detail I requested. Everyone has different expectations, but for a custom project of this size, I believe asking for clear documentation before fabrication is reasonable. I appreciate that they chose to decline the project before work began rather than after fabrication, but I was disappointed that after asking me to give them a second chance, they ultimately decided not to proceed because I wanted the design documented in writing.
