The full service I contracted for was: trim the crepe canopy back by 1/3, full yard mow, leaf clean up, and flower bed clean out. Bottom Line Up Front: I was not pleased - but this company came and made things right by me within 12 hours. While their attention to detail could use a little focus, their customer service is fabulous - and the reason I will stay a customer. The day of the scheduled service I was at work, but watching the service via my security cameras. As I watched I saw the crew working on the tree. I frantically called the office, and explained how it looked to me that the crew was removing the tree, which I did not want. Patiently, the man on the other end of the line informed me that this was a proper prune for a crepe myrtle - a fact which I did not know as I have never owned a property with this kind of tree before. He did contact the crew and advise them of my concerns, and while they did complete a proper full pruning (which - to be fair - is not what I asked for, but needed to be done and will ultimately help the tree) they finished with the tree. When I got home, I noticed they did not clean out the flower bed, as per the agreed upon quote. And here is where they won me over. I took a picture, sent and email and called. The following morning, two men called and came to my property. I spoke with Michael, showed him the flower bed, and the confirmatory email I had sent specifying exactly what I wanted. He agreed that I had requested the service, and they did not perform it and they immediately took care of it. Michael wasn't defensive, he didn't have an attitude, he wasn't impatient. He was apologetic, professional, and fast. They got it done. At the end of the day, you always have to communicate clearly. But even when you do, things sometimes get lost in translation. I greatly appreciate working with a company that truly WANTS customers to be happy, and takes the time to respond professionally to concerns by making things right. Thanks EP Mowing!

*Submitted on behalf*…read more I consider the day I called Bill Shelton at Capitol Tree Care to be one of the luckiest days in my life. Bill was gracious, charming and very understanding of my predicament. He set up a time to come and look at my very old and very, very dead Oak. My wonderful neighbor allowed Capitol Care Tree to drive a Bucket Truck and Shredder into his yard so the the crew could access the tree, as it was too dangerous for anyone to climb. The crew was so quiet, no music and no loud voices, Each man had a job to do and he made sure that he did it. When they were all finished, they cleaned up my neighbors yard. If there were not a big hole in the sky were my tree used to be, you would never know that anything had happened. I have worked with three different tree companies in the past. Some were very good and one was a disaster. BUT!!!!! Capitol Tree Care IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. If you need a tree down, call them. They can do the IMPOSSIBLE. Iris Reynolds Mt. Rainier, Maryland

In the end, he filled in our sunken driveway and surrounding lawn areas with topsoil. Next he seeded the lawn area and laid straw. He then brought in enough gravel build up and strengthen our original driveway, making a few modifications that added to the value and layout. We searched for a solution for years and no contractor gave us confidence that they had the solution. Andrew had the solution. He was thoughtful, strategic and knew exactly what needed to be done. His team added channel drains, pulled up our driveway to install pipes to move the water to the street, removed and replaced two window wells and repoured the concrete behind our house to slope away from the house. Our project was complex and our asphalt driveway needed to be pulled up too. He coordinated flawlessly with the asphalt contractor. His estimate was spot on, and therefore there were no surprises at the end of the project.
