He will give you a very low priced deal and pressure to start that day with small down payment. If he's hunting for money that day, he can be aggressive negotiating to lock it in. Will make up any story and say anything to sell you. He will start a little of the work and then leave, then starts the classic I'm coming back tomorrow. He will then ask you for more money and present sob stories. He will then inch and scrape along slowly, trying to get as much cash out of you. Then he will leave you hanging once he feels the relationship has no more potential for money. In my 1-week of dealing with him, he failed on his word atleast 10 times. Luckily I realized what I got caught in early and was able to actually return the favor-- dragged him along from midway point to get most of the work done when I tricked him in believing I would release final payment early if he showed up, then the work didn't get done and we had to part ways. Be vigilant!

I wish I had found King Tree Services years ago! I had been using another tree service over the…read morepast 10 years or so, and although they were always top-notch as far as their service, they were much more expensive - ridiculously so, I've since discovered. I won't name them because they are also very good at what they do. But I wouldn't recommend them unless price is of no importance to you. Edgar gave me an incredibly fair price to take down two large Silver Maples (approx. 40' and 50' tall) and haul away all of the debris. They were careful to not disturb our yard (which just had new sod put down this past Spring), and carefully replaced everything that they needed to move. Due to certain logistics regarding where the trees had been located, I couldn't have the stumps ground. But Edgar was able to saw the stumps down practically to ground level. I really can't say enough good things about Edgar and his crew or recommend them highly enough. They were on-time, considerate and thoughtful, attentive to detail, and highly efficient. I will be using King Tree Services from now on for all my future tree care.

Needless to say, project was not completed and property looked worse than when they started. Took Evan to court and was awarded a judgement in our favor for $15,500.
