I was very happy with the service from Premier pools from the beginning to the end. We started with 3-D image and any adjustments were made and they helped with suggestions and were very amenable when I wanted to make changes. We started around October and we were swimming in April when it finally got warm the pool was done before that it was just too cold to swim. I believe it would've been finished before April but we had a lot of rain this winter which kind of put things off a little bit, but that was fine in the end It all worked out. The weather and pool came together at the right time. the guys that were working on the were great to work with Nick and Justin, And Tim and the whole crew. I know I'm leaving a bunch out, but the whole crew were the very polite and professional and would definitely recommend going with this company. read more

0 stars should be an option. Stay clear of this pool company... they will promise you everything and as soon as there's a problem they will ghost you. For 5 years we have tried to fix our pool surface that failed 4 weeks after finishing our pool. Every year there's an excuse for not being able to fix it... We certified mailed a request for arbitration without a peep from Tim or Christy Hudson. Emails will not be answered. It's ridiculous. Tim promised "I'll take care of your pool even if it costs me to do it". That's a joke... We questioned Tim about a complaint before picking his company, his response was that the person didn't talk to him about the issue but they resolved it. I will add an update if our issue is resolved, don't take Tim's word or excuses! He lies and doesn't follow through. My experience has bee deplorable to say the least. Its weird they seemed to care in first 6 or so emails but I can't afford a 90k dollar pool after i just spent 600+ on my home. I told them 65k was my budget, I said shink the pool some and make it work. I've sent 3 emails and have been flat out ignored since then. I have wasted 5weeks. Horrid! Never finished the pool over 2 year span. Can't stress enough..buy yet beware!

. I am writing and updating this review because when we were looking for a pool builder, I found no reviews on this company. I can't stress enough if you have had a bad experience with any company post it on a review site! Example of our experience, our plans show a retaining wall and possibly a key way if needed. Our yard was sloped so we decided to use that to our advantage and put bar stools on the end of the pool that would be exposed. With a table top for eating on the pool side. That would be the deep end. So, part of the pool would be flush and the deep end wall would be engineered and up out of the ground. We also wanted 5 deck jets, the position of the decks jets seemed to be causing one problem, also his design caused piping to be exposed on the walkway near the exposed wall! So we would have had piping sticking out of the ground! Deck jets not where they should be!! Also the wall seemed to be shrinking!! Meaning the wall would not be tall enough to put bar stools there and make it look right!!! So he came to us one day and said he felt it would be danger for the kids to jump off the wall in the deep end!!! He was so concerned he was going to absorbed the cost to make the pool flush all the way around! What?? Well, who am I to argue, ok. We all know the math wasn't right or something?? Now he thinks it was our mistake..... Then he pours the wrong color coping!! Saying he always pours the color we chose!! Also we asked for samples he said they can only have samples if they are 6ft long!! So we gave up on getting samples! Then we "found concrete samples" at the concrete plant!! So at this point we have terra cotta looking coping on our pool! We ordered tan!! Why not stop the pour if he does this all the time???? BTW they would not tell us the concrete plant they use! Armed with knowledge they had to take out the coping. We pick the colors of concrete for the coping and deck with the samples we obtained from the concrete plant! Yay! All is well now! How could they make a mistake? Hmmmmm....... They have! Not the colors we picked! Ohhhhhh so tired! Also the framing of the stairs not up to code! Had to contact the city to learn all about stairs.... Growl! This guy never says he has made a mistake, all he says is how awesome he is! So sad! Redding is so small, we need good honest pool builders! We signed the contract thinking his wife Christy would keep him on track. Bad idea! Guitons wanted to put our pool right outside our bedroom window! So we went with Premire/ Mirage/ Karat Patch! We argue about this project and Tim and Christy every night! Trying to keep them honest! I hate the new coping because I now will have to say it is not what we showed you!!! My husband wants this over!!! Horrible Started build in July, it's now November!!! Sad day when you think your pool builder will screw up your deck!!! It's that what a pool builder does?? Decking?? Well we didn't want to leave this part of the project for him to do! Yet another stall because we are not confident in our pool builder!! He should know this stuff up and down and. Sideways! If he doesn't he should be willing to learn!! Instead he thinks we are hard to please! All I want is the deck to match the house! Really too hard for ya? Don't sign follow your instincts , they are right! These guys are not reasonable!! We had estimates from every major pool contractor in the area and are so glad we chose Premier. Even starting the build in the wettest winter in Redding, they were on schedule as best as they could be. They answered all our questions, replied to e-mails promptly and were able to get pricing back to us quickly when we upgraded or changed anything from the original contract. Every crew member acted very professional and courteous at our home. They even came out on a Sunday to check water levels and make sure all was running properly after the pool was filled. Our pool is the exact image of what was proposed and they worked hard to make sure every detail was as promised. Couldn't be more happy with the time and attention Tim and Christy gave to our project! They are truly caring people and all of our neighbors, family, and friends are very impressed with our new pool/spa! Tim's vision for our backyard was a million times better than the vision that we had. Tim is truly a craftsmen and continuously checked in with us, guiding us through the entire process. I would not recommend this pool contractor to anyone. Please be cautious. I was promised my pool would be finished and usable for the summer. It wasn't. I was told my pool would take 45 days to remodel. It took over a year. This was just for a remodel. His crew damaged my fence and I quickly had to run to Home Depot to make repairs myself. I still have damaged planks on my fence. The construction of my swim deck is not straight, he takes no pride in his work. He said his work was completed. It wasn't. I ended up having to go to the State Contractors Licensing Board to get him to finish his work. I had him order additional supplies for me for another project. The idea was so that the materials would matched. They don't match. When the pool was finally finished he continued to monitor the pool and do the weekly maintenance. I stood back and watched for several times what they did. I then watched another contractor provide the same service to a neighbor. The other contractor's weekly maintenance was so much superior that I switched. His customer service is very poor and does not take responsibility for his actions. read more

Run! Run as fast as you can! Our experience with Tim and Christy Hudson has been the single worst experience of our lives. We worked extremely hard for so long to have our dream pool installed. What we got was a sham and sub par work. Don't be fooled. They will come up with an amazing virtual tour of what your pool will look like on YouTube. It will likely not turn out anything like the video. There are so many ways we were jerked around that I do not even know where to start. There is so much that it is almost unbelievable. In my opinion, they were so nonproductive it was not even funny. I thought we were on an episode of Punk'd on a daily basis. They would not show up on the days they said they would, or even that week for that matter. When they were here and Tim (owner) was here working he was so disrespectful to his guys by yelling and swearing at them. We started our project in May 2015 and in October it was still nowhere near done. They just could not deliver. Our rock waterfall looked like a dump truck vomited concrete rocks around the jacuzzi. We had to pay someone 800.00 to stain it and seal it to make it look good. The 800.00 was nothing compared to the other financial bombs that were dropped on us. That is when the end was near. They claimed a large portion of our project was not within their scope and plans had not even been submitted to the county. It had not been designed. nothing. All this was included in the signed contract so we were pretty confused . This is mid- project. In my opinion, This should have been anticipated long ago, which is why I truly think this was intentional deception. We should have pulled the plug at this point but we continued to try after tearful apologies on their end. They wanted payment installments before work was completed. The final straw was when they removed our filtration equipment from our property without our knowledge when we refused to pay prior to work being complete. Then it was attorney time. Turns out, he didn't even have a license at the time we signed our contract. There is more, so much more, but I hope this is enough to deter you. Frankly, I am beyond sick of this story myself. Long story short, we did settle out of court in our favor. We got our equipment back (outdated equipment. of course we found that out later), a tiny bit of cash, and moved on. I do have to say, thank god Premier left the picture because we do have a dream yard now. Every person we have worked with since has been amazing, reinstalling my faith in people. Good luck! read more
