Took the plunge on a hot tub after 8 years of hym hawing over it…read more 2 of my family members recommended going through Shasta Spa's on Bechelli I had set a budget in my mind. Originally I called around different places, and almost got completely scared out of the process. On a casual phone call ( elsewhere) I was quoted $20K ,and at the end of the call $18k for another ( lower budget model ) I assumed prices had skyrocketed and perhaps we shouldn't be purchasing anything after all.- Went to SS & B and had a very good experience browsing the large showroom. The Tubs there were starting at below about 6k, and probably averaged to 12k -15k or more? I had MANY choices in my range, and almost too many to choose from. We fell in LOVE with a 'filled' floor model that came with a bunch of add ons and a 5 yr warranty. Free delivery, chemicals , at home demo , and a bunch more. Went back another 2 times to ask millions of questions and finally pulled the trigger. I could not believe it arrived one week later. It all went faster then we expected and we actually had to wait for the electrician appt to happen after delivery. After the electrician filled the tub and left, they came BACK out to show us all the ropes and get us going. All in all, I had changed my mind on the placement ( while it was still empty) ,called several times, stopped by several more, and have been So happy with everyone I've encountered. We have been so in love with the hot tub, and used them for our first drain and fill service after 3 months. The tech was on time and addressed all my new crazy questions and showed me some things I still hadn't learned about. He also was fast and great at what he does, and really likes his job. Upbeat and all nice people ! This is the way to purchase imo. The customer service has been unbeatable and invaluable, everyone there is a pro, and happy to help. Make sure you at LEAST check them out before going anywhere else.

They input all my specs, tested the water, and gave me a very detailed report. It explained exactly what it said and what would remedy any issue. It was precise to my gallons, and the products I needed to use, I asked a lot of questions, as I'm trying to master my water care ( and am still learning the ropes ) Excellent service from someone who was knowledgeable and enjoyed doing his job. I feel deceptive by the Pool service they sent out someone else who is brand new truly I don't believe knows what he's doing, but he thinks that he's doing the best job possible he's getting carried away with the pool poisons for a pool that has a little to know use I've asked them to stop and they don't listen. They have Christine in their office and the customer is never right no matter what you say. You're never right I always thought that when you paid your bills and made request, they would try to keep the customer happy that is not the case

Honestly, that's been worth the investment. It is the center point of our outdoor living when family shows up. During the 15 years since construction, the pool equipment, the construction methods, and options have changed, and the Hudsons regularly attend industry conferences to stay up with the latest. Just in the last month, we upgraded the controller unit, giving the ability to change settings and turn on and off the equipment remotely through an app on our phones, tablets, and computers. No pool runs forever without maintenance and repairs (especially over 15 years), and we've had to replace the pump, rebuild the Polaris cleaner, and call for emergency help after wildfire ash contaminated the water. It's essential to have a dependable company behind and alongside you as you enjoy your pool.

No explanation or partial refund was every provided. Prices continue to rise. We expect weekly cleaning in the height of pool use but there has been a service drop over summer months. When the new electrical panels were installed by perfect pool and spa they were installed incorrectly resulting in shorted outlets in the panel. This is after we expanded to Chris we were refinishing our pool due to a traumatic fire. I had to stop contact between my wife and Chris because he was demeaning and told my wife "If you could understand basic concepts then you'd get what I'm explaining to you but you don't." However, once it was started, the process rolled along swimmingly! the design, concrete, tile, plaster all finished in a timely manner. all, beautifully execute. This is just a normal pool no major upgrades and it looks like a million bucks. Impressed with the layout of everything including the planning/pre-design of how the yard was laid out. Blaine is hard working, calm, caring and concerned about his clients. He knows this business completely, and it shows in his work.
