My family and I, recommend buying from Factory Flooring Outlet! We needed the best quality and best price! They found the exact flooring they wanted at the lowest price in Redding, Anderson, Cottonwood and SLC. They stayed open for us later and helped fork lift load it on our trailer. Excellent friendly service all around! We purchased the carpet and vinyl November 14th, 2014 and I installed it in my in-laws home in 5 days on November 18th, 2014. Thank you! We highly recommend this business for all future projects! read more

Walked in on a Saturday ready to spend a few grand on new carpet but was met with an employee who had no desire to help us at all. I felt disrespected and unwanted. We took our business to Shasta Lake Floors. read more

I have had (3) bad experiences with the guys that they hire to lay the flooring. A young independent guy was recommended to prepare the sub floor that needed a 36"X 36" piece of new subfloor at entrance, using plywood, I got a bill over $1000.00. On another order I asked to have new bathroom viny, floor installer tells sales person they're is nothing wrong with the floor Denise, suggested a different idea for laundry rm.?! In fact the Bath lanolin had been water damaged, discolored, bubbling by toilet and when ripped up subfloor a wax ring needed replaced. I still continue to use Factory Flooring until the owner didn't like it when I I complained that installer wouldn't put old cleaned carpet in storage there, Installer saw a rattlesnake hissing earlier when retrieving materials for job there, he reused to put old carpet in covered storage so it was put in back of a truck. . I agreed too. Hers the topper he took left over laminate and key to storage, and Denise sales asked me what I want to do with it? Well since Factory Flooring is well aware I live in LA and Denise would hold key and laminate, That is when I said I don't want this guy installing my flooring on the next install, that was being placed. That is when Factory Flooring told me "lets part ways". Denise returned left over laminate and key at vacant home. Thank you Denise! I have a positive, other the bad opinions from All envoled, Service and instalation appears good!? Betty Yuill 10/02/25 read more

Great experience! They had high quality carpet at a very reasonable price. Honestly thought I was going to pay significantly more here since I was paying for install And other stores have free install promos, but was pleasantly surprised that I got a better quality carpet at almost the exact same price out the door overall great experience and I highly recommend! read more

Best flooring company in the state unbelievable prices great service, and the best people to work with very happy with my floors

If you are looking for carpet this is not the place. It was a disastrous experience for me with horrible carpet and no recourse so I threw over $1,000 out the window only to learn that Lowes and other carpet stores will replace the carpet if you really hate it, but no such policy at this place. And another thing, it seemed very odd to me that I was directed to a certain type of carpet without being offered what my alternatives would be and without educating me on what I needed to know about carpet. I purchased Triexta carpet that I learned after the fact has mixed reviews and clearly, they have issues with consistent color dying. And ultimately the last sample provided was a very different color so after so many go arounds I gave up on Mohawk who is the only manufacturer who prints on their samples dye lots can change, and carpet fiber can change. It sent up a red flag immediately, but I unfortunately thought I would be okay with a big-name manufacturer. To make a long story short, I found a carpet store that has been amazing to deal with, so knowledgeable and so in tune to my needs and that combined with my doing much more research on my own has culminated with my ordering three rooms of carpeting. I never received the kind of professional service I would have expected at this place and there was no sensibility as to the importance of color. read more

Great experience from beginning purchase until completed job. Rick ( salesmanager) was great with assisting me with my laminate and carpet purchase. The communication between this company and their clients is wonderful. The installers (Jared and Jacob) were professional, prompt and very accomplished. read more

We went into this business 3 separate times in one week and could never get a straight answer on cost. The carpet samples on the floor are discontinued. It took 4 employees and 1 phone call for them to figure that out. Not good in the customer service department at all. We finally walked out and said "Never again". read more

Their team is super helpful and Ernie went out of his way to give us a good deal on flooring. We really appreciate them! It's great to have a company like this with great products and great service in Redding. read more

This was a 5 star experience start to finish. They did everything they said they would and then some. In addition it was a first class job. This was the THIRD time we installed these floors...in a new house! The builder's floor came up and they came back to reinstall.....looked horrible, trim looked like a third grader did it. (no offense to third graders) Anyway, the FFO crew showed up, tore out everything and did the job right. Also good at offering suggestions on what will look good. They know floors! Highly recommend! read more

These guys deserve 10 stars for the service I received. Daniel the owner is a very patient and understanding person and as a matter of fact my carpet had a flaw so he had his crew completely come in and replace all of the carpet with no hassle or added fees. I highly recommend factory Flooring Outlet for any flooring you need done. My family loves the flooring and I appreciate you guys upgrading me to a higher end quality carpet with no additional charge. I'll be back for the rest of the flooring in the house. Awesome job guys. Also big kudos for Jason the installer. Request him as he is very knowledgeable and very professional!! read more

Factory Flooring Outlet - New carpet - Flooring Near Me - Redding, California

We are extremely happy with our new vinyl planking. We replaced all the carpet in our home, which was a huge deal after living all our lives with carpeting and pets! Firstly, Factory Flooring was competitive in pricing for similar products. Secondly, our installers, Santino and Alex were excellent; so accomplished, versatile, considerate and dedicated to doing the best job possible! In memory, we have not had two individuals who worked as hard as they did. Tyler came in last day for final touch up on baseboards and was great, too! And even though this process was loud, dusty, labor-intensive and upended our our living spaces, Santino and Alex were so considerate and detail oriented in everything, including cleaning up our space before leaving each afternoon. Lastly, they did a great job installing the flooring and all the baseboards. We love our new floors!!! Such easy cleanup from kid and pet accidents! No more worries about stained carpets and yucky pads. Thank you so much, each one of you! read more

I always prefer to support local small businesses. Disappointing customer experience from the moment I walked into the Flooring Factory store until the moment I walked out. The lady at the desk appeared bothered, attempted to pass us off to unavailable sales man then proceeded to tell me about this discounted left over flooring that she didn't have a sample of at the moment. When I asked what other options they have she said they are more expensive. She must have decided by my appearance how much money I'd spend and how much of her time I was worth. When I mentioned I wasn't sure if I was going to extend the tile into the living room or put in wood flooring she frowned and declared nobody puts tile in their living room. I'm extremely happy that I made the right decision to spend my $14K on new flooring at Lumber Liquidators. Excellent customer experience from start to finish, high quality hardwood flooring and perfect installation. read more

Locally owned and a great price! Floors look great and they accommodated my tight schedule. Thank you!!!!

Super great place to do business with. They are professional, have great pricing and are super knowledgeable. I would not go anywhere else or refer my clients anywhere else. I found there pricing in many cases is actually better than the big box stores and actually have employees that have been in the flooring business since before last week. They give you so much more knowledge with which to make your decision. read more

Absolutely dishonest and unreliable. Purchased high-end hardwood flooring. Flooring installation was completely substandard and failed after one month. Owner stalled for a year then finally refused to replace. Had to sue for refund. GO TO LOWES!!! read more

We had our house recarpeted and Factory Carpet was wonderful! They have a great selection of all kinds of flooring and I was happy to learn their standard carpet pad is an upgrade of what the big box stores offer. We picked out carpet and within one week is was installed. We are very happy with the service and quality. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for new floors of any type to check here first. read more

I am so impressed with the service we got from this store. We recently remodeled part of our house and Kathleen understood right away what we were looking for and made an excellent selection for us. All the prices are on the products and there is no surprise. Very good prices with several sales. The installers did also a great job and were very clean. Highly recommend this company! read more

Ernie and the crew did everything in their power to help us get our flooring done right. Even when there was a major problem with our floor, though it was in no way their fault, they bent over backwards to make it work. Josh the installer was creative and a problem solver and obviously take pride in his work. We went with Adura max which is a little more expensive than some options but are really glad we did. It looks great. I highly recommend these guys! read more

What a crew, from the sales to the installation. When we decided to remove carpet and go with a laminate, Earnie and his team had great advice and made the whole process effortless on our part. The patience and professionalism from start to finish made us wonder why we waited so long. Definitely recommend based quality of product, selection of products, the ease of doing business and value in final product. Thank you guys, your great! read more

Rick Wallace and everyone at Factory Flooring Outlet were a pleasure to deal with - both knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices are some of the best in town, as we looked at just about every other flooring place, and they have a large selection to choose from. We had them install our luxury vinyl plank flooring in our living/dining, kitchen, and bath, and we are very happy with the results! We went with the California Black Oak and it truly transformed the look and feel of our house. They were good at communicating, flexible when we changed our order, did everything on time according to schedule, and the installation is excellent and professional. I highly recommend Factory Flooring Outlet for your flooring needs. read more

This company stands firmly behind their work and materials! Just finally had some wood flooring installed/completed, and could not be happier with the result (over 2000 sqft of wood and carpet total). This project started a few months back when we experienced a problem with the wood product. Ernie (owner) was awesome through the entire process; he could have told us to live with the issues. But he didn't. He stayed in continual communication throughout his dealings with the distributor/manufacturer. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but Factory Floors Outlet came through and made sure we got what we paid for! Most people having done enough home improvement projects know issues often come up. But how businesses take care of those issues is everything, and FFO delivered. In our case, we're just happy we chose FFO to install the flooring because they took care of business the right way. I highly recommend this company for all your flooring needs! read more

We are new to the area, so checked around and heard that Factory Flooring Outlet was the place that realtors refer their clients to, so we went there and found their prices to be better than we had hoped for. They were very helpful and accommodating, from the start and we found the carpet we were looking for. Rick and his helpers came and installed it over a period of three days. He had some issues, due to pet urine from the previous owners dogs, and he took care of them very well. Because of these unforeseen issues, the job took longer than anticipated, and poor Rick had to stay late into the evening working (after 11 pm one night) but he did so cheerfully and so willingly to get the job done. He was an extraordinary personable worker and by the time he left, we considered him a friend. Thank you Factory Flooring and Rick, and when we need more flooring work, we will definitely be back and we will recommend you to anyone we know who needs work. read more

I was referred to FFO by a friend, and I will recommend them to anyone who needs flooring. They did a great job of working within our budget by giving us options and explaining the differences, without using sales pressure to go with a more expensive product. They managed our expectations well (were good to their word) throughout the process. The installer was friendly and did a great job, offered suggestions for how to treat the floor before installation (we replaced the carpet due to pet damage), and finished within five minutes of his estimated time. One month in, and the carpet has performed wonderfully. read more

I was extremely dissatisfied with the installation of my flooring. Not only did they have to come back twice to fix the flooring and baseboards that were installed incorrectly. But only 2 months later the carpet is pulling apart at one incorrect seam where it was not properly installed and a rubber seam they suggested is already falling off. However if I ask for these to be repaired by them they will charge me for labor and materials.Better off going with a different company. I should not be having to do repairs so soon. Sure they carry nice products. But the insulation WASTE OF MONEY. read more
