I know that it was me that took Nancy T. To 3 different flooring places in the Redding area. I was with Nancy T. When the sales people helped us. We looked at many floors. We were there on two different occasions. Nancy was very happy about the flooring she picked out. I was also there at Nancy's home when the 2 men came and installed her flooring. I could see Nancy had very large deep cracks in her cement floor after the carpet was removed. The men spent a few days repairing her floors then putting down moisture barrier down on the floor, I ask the installer what he was doing and he explained it to me. All the people, in the store and the installers were very nice and respectful. I will always go back to Design Time and Tile to have my flooring bought and installed there. I down understand why Nancy T. Said anything negative about this business. After they were done installing her floors she was so happy, the floor looked beautiful. Kathy K.

I cannot say enough about how amazing it was working with Kevin at Design Time & Tile. I was…read moreremodeling and needed both quartzite slabs and tile, and honestly, I was feeling overwhelmed and stressed. Kevin spent literal hours helping me choose tiles that coordinated beautifully and fit the overall design. I made my tile selections late in the process and wasn't sure they'd even arrive in time--but somehow, he managed to get everything in record time. The pricing was more than fair, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Finding the perfect Taj Mahal quartzite slabs turned into a bit of an adventure, and through it all, Kevin was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind--not to mention fun to work with. From start to finish, this was one of my favorite parts of the entire remodel. Working with Kevin transformed what could have been a stressful experience into something enjoyable. I can't thank him enough for his help bringing everything together. You've earned a customer for life--thank you, Kevin!

I picked out my flooring and countertops from a different local company and the associate assured…read moreme I was within my budget. When it came time for my contractor to order the materials, I was way over budget. I didn't want to give my business to a company that wasn't putting forth the effort to explore options to get me something that was more in line with my budget while still being aesthetically pleasing. My contractor then referred me to Antoinette at Redding Tile & Stone and I couldn't be happier. She was up front about everything from cost to function to design, and she spent a dedicated two hours with me showing me my options and making suggestions. I came into her office feeling pretty defeated knowing I wasn't going to be able to get what I wanted, but Antoinette had me smiling and excited by the end of my appointment. I still came in over budget (I think my contractor needs to re-evaluate the cost of materials) but not nearly as high as the other place, and I added a backsplash that wasn't part of the plans. Her associates Liz and Alex were so helpful when it came to looking up pricing, showing me pictures of how materials look when they're installed, and making design suggestions. I'm happy to give my business to Redding Tile & Stone because they took the time to sit with me and run the figures during the appointment while not giving me any false hope. I highly recommend Redding Tile and Stone!

There are a few little decorator pieces in there but the focus is definitely the rugs. There are several nice rugs for sale at what we know (after being at many shops) very fair prices. I have 2 rugs that were my mothers brought over after WWII from Istanbul, I came into possession of them in the early 80's in no condition to use. I stored them as was rolled up until I could afford to have these pieces of family heritage properly cleaned and repaired. After bringing them to Gary and based on his review it was decided that they were nice enough and rare enough to have them worked on. Both had damage to the fringe and along the edges, one a very thick pile Sarouk had small missing pieces along the edge (carpet bugs or dog chew?). Gary agreed to take on this very difficult project. After washing several times and repairs were made to the edge of the rugs the Sarouk was sent to experts for re-weaving or piecing in matching material. We knew the carpet was very dirty (having never been washed) and had damage (a curled edge) the carpet was returned and Gary took care of what the repair people needed done, then back to their shop. The first rug was completed quickly, this rug posed very difficult due to it's condition, pile depth, and intricate design. We were in the process of a long distance move when we took on this work, Gary and Christine were great in keeping us notified of the status of the rugs repairs and when they were ready to 'come home". We are so happy with our rugs in our new home. They look very nice on our hardwood floors, feel good under our feet and we have none of the fine dust and dirt that we found coming out when we brought them to Gary. They also feel great under the feet and the greatest things we are not afraid to actually use them and the colors, long hidden, really pop. Kudos and many thank you's for your diligence, persistence, integrity and help. I would not hesitate to return and we are currently deciding on what size rug we want for our living room. Gary will be assisting us in our search and we are confident he will come through for us again. S&M
