Looks Like I might be the first to leave a review here in Redding; this surprises me given the quality of service I have received from this company. My POS pool builder did not inform me the water needed to be treated immediately upon the new pool being filled. So a few days went by before it occurred to me something should be done when I didn't see anyone showing up. (In 1997 I had a pool built by a professional company in San Diego that took care of the initial water treatment, as it is an important factor for properly maintaining plaster warranties, so I mistakenly thought that would be the case this time as well.) I was referred to The Pool Gal by an employee at Leslie's and gave them a call on a Monday morning. I was speaking with Brian about an hour later. He told me not to worry and that he would get right on my start-up. He and Christina REALLY know what they are doing! Since then (April) my water has been crystal clear, regardless of how many people/dogs are swimming in the pool. I highly recommend them based on their responsiveness, knowledge and reliability. She is honest (will tell you exactly what you need so you don't overpay for unnecessary products/services), extremely knowledgable about how the chemicals work, what's needed etc. She's super quick to respond, flexible and professional. This has been a revelation. We had used Aquascape for 7 years, and for the first 5 of those years they were fine. Something happened, though, and not only did their service become worse, but our pool became worse. The pool vac didn't work, the pool was steeped in algae. It was a mess. On a whim I waved down The Pool Gal when she was going down our street and had her come look at our pool. Combined with her husband's knowledge of mechanics they correctly diagnosed and fixed in one week what our previous pool maintenance people missed for two years. They answer texts almost instantly when the previous people hardly ever got back to us at all. I highly recommend The Pool Gal to anyone with a pool in the area they service.
