When we first took possession of our place the pool was in great need of help. It was murky looking and starting to get greenish. It was still safe to swim in... but, was getting to the point where it would soon be unsafe. I called around to various Pool Services here in Redding. When I first met Bennie, I knew he knew what he was talking about. He explained the complexities of getting the water properly balanced and looking clear. Now, look at our pool. It's beautiful. Jerry just cancelled my service with no warning, no communication, no heads up. Apparently my pool…read morepump was shutting off in between services, which I had no awareness of, and I was not doing that manually. This was making it difficult to keep the pool clear, which makes sense. But I had no idea the pump was shutting off. If he had called me to ask me about this, maybe we could have realized there was a malfunction or something else. And we could have fixed it. But instead, service was cancelled with no warning. And there was multiple weeks in a row without services, prior to informing me he had stop showing up. (I was out of town for 2 weeks, when he decided to stop showing up). So by the time I got his notification that service was cancelled, it was too late. The pool had started to turn green. Really really poor communication. Now I have to pay to have someone else de-green the pool in the middle of pool season. At least now I know the pool pump is broken, and hopefully I can find someone that is willing to fix it, instead of just passive aggressively "blaming" me for turning it off during the week, when that is simply not the case.

Because of the name "Westside Pool" I felt just maybe they would come out (we live on the Westside of town) to help us. We were connected with Wes from the family owned business. He started that his schedule was extremely busy but he would stop by to check out the problem. OMG this man was so helpful and spent at the least an hour or more doing what he could to try to get things back on track and would come back the following day (Saturday) to get it all cleaned up. This was totally off his schedule but he wasn't about to leave us without things cleaned up and back on track. Wes is so conscientious and so pleasant to deal with, I can't thank him enough. We would love to have him for our pool service weekly and he is trying to find an opening for us in his schedule. It's not a for sure and we're hoping it works out. Great service and such good work.
