Communication was fluid and both the crew on the ground and in the office were perfectly coordinated. We will have them back for the last roof and will continue to do business with them. Fantastic!

We gave them 7 opportunities over the course of an entire year to come out and fix the issue and each time their "fix" made the leaks worse. They gaslighted us consistently saying the roof wasn't the problem and had us chasing down other issues like tuckpointing, plumbing, sliding door replacements etc and nothing helped. The damage eventually got so bad that we needed a restoration company to come open up the ceiling in 3 rooms. We finally hired a second company to do another full replacement and haven't had a single issue since then. TAR refused to take any accountability or refund us any money. All told we are out over $40,000 thanks to TAR.

Disappointing After-Sales Service…read more I own a single-family home in Addison, IL, and Highlander Roofing replaced my roof in 2019 after hail damage. Robert Bednarz from Highlander Roofing personally inspected my roof, recommended the replacement, and provided a lifetime warranty on the work. In March 2026, after a severe storm and heavy rain, a few shingles came off and a gutter downspout was uprooted. I contacted Robert, and he came out to inspect the damage. He informed me that the issue was not covered under the warranty, which I accepted, and I requested a quote for the repairs. Unfortunately, after that visit, I received no follow-up. Despite multiple calls over the course of three months to both Robert and the Highlander Roofing office, I was unable to get a response. Eventually, I had to hire another contractor to complete the repairs. To make sure the replacement shingles matched the existing roof, I also contacted Highlander Roofing to find out what shingle material had been used during the 2019 installation. Again, I was unable to get the information I needed and felt completely ignored. While my initial experience with the roof replacement was positive, the lack of communication and customer support afterward was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Highlander Roofing and Improvement Services due to their poor after-sales service and lack of responsiveness.
