However, some inconsistencies were reported by the agency, reflecting odometer tampering, battery & tires purchase dates, that were bringing down the price. Jose, at the Independence store gave me a number to call and see if the agency could match the information could explain so it could be updated before COB. Agency said it would take 3 hours, already 2:30, so it would be close. Long story short, the agency came through (I didn't have to spend the night in the store, as I had decided to stay until the items were updated). The final check was just what I was quoted on the CARMAX site. I knew what my car's value was. It was PERFECT and the store could set it out on the lot without touching up anything! EVERYONE, whether selling outright, or trading, should read carefully the details on the printed estimate that can bring a car's price down several thousand dollars. I ended up walking out with a check a few hundred less than the original online offer. The new owners are very polite, and go out of their way to try and make every financial situation work in terms of being financed. I was worried coming in that my credit score was too low to be approved, but with my down payment and my trade they were able to play with the numbers and make it work! I just wanted to say thank you for getting me into a nicer vehicle than anyone else would have been able to get me into. I will definitely refer all my friends to Noland Road Auto Credit. Plus, they offer a $300 referral award for anyone you refer that purchases a vehicle! I've never heard of that anywhere else!
