Wouldn't leave ONE star! This has been the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I've ever had with an auto shop. My car has been there since the end of July--nearly three months--and it's still not repaired. I was never told the part was on backorder, and after contacting my warranty company, I found out the part was actually available when the repair was approved in late August/early September. There's no reason this repair should have taken this long. They also tried to overcharge me, falsely claiming the extra cost was part of my warranty deductible, which my warranty company confirmed was not true. When I asked about accountability, Pete (the manager) said it was "neither my fault nor theirs" that the part was delayed -- yet no one ever communicated anything to me throughout this entire process. To make matters worse, Jordan hung up on me, and even after calling multiple times in one day, I still received no clear update on when my car would be fixed. They finally called me back, I got a call saying I have to pay prior to them even completing the repairs. I have never even heard of such a thing! I've had my car serviced several times by Kia and NEVER have had to pay prior to my services being completed! Despite the entire headache they have caused me! They also "mistakenly" thought I traded in my car which is why the communication also stopped! This dealership has shown zero accountability, terrible communication, and complete disregard for their customers. Not once have anyone thought to even apologize or take in how I felt as the customer! I would never, ever use this dealership again -- and I strongly recommend others stay far away. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICES! By the way you will see I previously thought they were a good dealerships! I was totally wrong. I went in for an oil change and later found out there was not enough oil put my car. My oil change light came over in between service and my son checked it said it was bone dry. As a courtesy they washed my which made mirror come off. Then try to charge me $650 to replace it. I asked them to put it back like it was.... they put some messy black tape on it. ‼I will never come back to this place again!‼ I inquired about a simple fix to my side view mirror. The male secretary talked so fast, but I trusted that he would help me with the mirror. After awhile, I figured that I would check with the female secretary so that they understood that I requested to not have anything further to be looked at because the damage was visible and a notice before they started any service. I received pictures of my car and they did a diagnostic without my consent and proceeded to charge me $178 +tax for it when my disapproval was clear. I came to this place for convenience but this was a terrible experience. I explained the situation calmly to Jeff Steele, the manager, hoping to get some understanding and he became hostile and asked "you don't have the money!? What is it!?". Afterwards, I felt defeated and just wanted to leave. Jeff Steele repeatedly asked, "Do you want me to pop it out!?"(referring to the mirror) I felt discriminated against, coreced, racially profiled, and antagonized by Jeff Steele. The whole team for the day witnessed the issue. The female secretary finished my paperwork, then walked me to billing. She said "I don't want you to leave uncomfortable" and tried to comfort and accommodate the wrong doing that Jeff Steele should've offered as a "higher up" /manager. She only charged me $100, but the fee was still for the diagnostic. I'm not even sure how much the service for the mirror I got fixed was actually. While the female secretary was finalizing the work the male secretary passed off to her, Jeff and his male associates for the day, huddled and talked low, but stared at me which me feel uncomfortable. I bought a 2015 Chevy Colorado from Bob Sight Kia on March 12. By March 18, the transmission was failing. They blamed me -- suggesting I towed 10,000 pounds -- even though I'd barely driven it. It sat in the shop for over three weeks. I only got updates when I chased them down. They didn't fix it -- my warranty did. Bob Sight sold me a broken truck, blamed me, left me waiting, and took no real responsibility. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Very disappointed. Not only did they delivery my title paperwork so late that it cost me an extra $120 in fees to register my car with the state but then they were completely unapologetic. Never once even saying sorry instead saying I should be thankful for the price I paid even after I reached out ever level of management up to the general manager with the last name of Sight. To make it all worse the salesman stuck a QR Code for his personal snap chat inside the had door of my 18 year old daughters new car. To use her words, really crappy the a man that old would do that. Would have been entirely different if was a QR for the dealer or Kia. They refused to respond to Costco who referred them to me, so they lost their place in the program. I've had good experiences with this dealership in the services department. They have never tried to oversell me on anything, they would just tell me what was wrong and fix it. the few times they have had to fix my car (and I mean only a few over the last decade) for the most part it stayed fixed. When it didn't I took it back and true to their word, they didn't charge me to fix what they thought they had the first time around. In the past, when I've had my cars worked on at other shops, something kept happening with my car, or they would keep charging me for what they were supposed to the first time around. Maybe I was young and naive and didn't know better. Yes, I hear some of the people who have harped on me to learn how to maintain my own own vehicle, (which I didn't have until I was older) so, when I can't do it myself, they have earned my trust that they will do right by me. we had our oil changed today and have the screen looked at. 2.5 + hours. It is absolutely ridiculous. They are not kid friendly. I am so irritares. It's funny when they think you are buying a car they are all over you asking if you need something to drink, the bathroom is here. During my 2.5 hour + visit. I had to change my 2 year old. The bathroom has no baby changing station. I put him up on the sink. A woman comes in and sees me and acts like she shocked to see me changing my kid on the sink. read more

I previously gave a one star rating regarding an engine replacement request that was denied. Once the General Manager reviewed my concern, he contacted the Service Advisor and concluded that they had processed the wrong Warranty Bulletin. The General Manager contacted me and told me that they made a mistake and that they would replace the defective engine free of charge and provided me with a new Kia Sorento as a Courtesy Car while the engine was being replaced. I am very happy with the way things turned out regarding my engine replacement. read more

After informing the dealership of the information and that information reaching the owner's desk I was contacted. The owner was very understanding of my concerns and wanted to resolve the issue. After explaining what I thought would be a fair resolution, the owner agreed and the concern/issue was resolved. I'm very vocal when it comes to dealerships taking advantage of people. However, I also am very vocal when I receive quality customer service and I must say that this dealership works to satisify their customers. I called the service department last week, Monday April 17, to set up an appointment to get four new tires on my vehicle. I was sent to a voicemail and I left a message with my name, reason I was calling and my call back number, but did not hear back that day. My husband called back the next day, Tuesday April 18, and he was also sent to a voicemail and he as well left a message with his name, reason for calling and call back number. It is now, Thursday April 27, and I have yet to hear back from anyone. This is absolutely ridiculous and I am now going through a different company to purchase and install new tires. Do not lease a car here, they cannot handle the paperwork probably for it to be worth it. Nor do they explain things to 1st time I will say that if your purchasing a car here that I do love my Kia and the price. My husband and I get all of our maintenance done here and I give those guys 5 stars for sure. My initial review was out of years of frustration in dealing with us leasing 2 Kia souls, the vin numbers were flip flopped. And every year when I would get tags renewed I had to run in circles from the dmv to the dealership back to the dmv and so on. I actually got a ticket for expired tags on a leased vehicle and I had to pay for it. The dealership didn't even apologize. I have refraining from leaving a review but I've had ENOUGH !! They don't even deserve 1 star for a rating. The customer service is beyond horrible! I have been a loyal customer since 2009 but that gets unaccounted for. Today, I tried to call to schedule a service appointment but was instantly put on hold. I remained on hold for over 20 minutes and no one ever came back to the line before I finally decided to disconnect the call. Buyers be aware KIA is not a company you should trust at all, they do not honor their warranty's on their bad engines. Not once did anyone one on their sales team mention that they sell cars with a history of bad engines and I was about to buy one and they knew it. My car has 66,000 miles on it and no longer runs. I'm told my engine is full of sludge, and that I did not maintain my vehicle. I provided maintenance receipts, and then was told they cant prove the receipts are for work done on my KIA. I was told there's sludge in my engine, KIA is aware of the sludge first hand as this is caused literally by the defective engine, which is why they have been sued. I find it funny that they want to finance me another KIA engine. Who would want to pay $8000.00 more for another bad engine and to be in debt further to KIA no thank you. read more

Called Sean to get a timing belt replaced, I was given the price and an early appointment. He was on time and courteous when I arrived, had the paperwork in-hand and directed me to the nearest coffee pot. Brian McNeal apparently finished the job and I was able to pick up the car (which had been fully inspected and washed) in a short period of time. Sean told me that they also replaced the other belts as well which is part of the service. No changes and no surprises, and I am confident that my car will go another 100,000 miles with no issues. We bought a Kia forte here. The experience was great. Our salesman Matt was great at first. We got the car home and realized the a light low in the bumper was broken. Called Matt they had us bring it up the next day to fix. We were told that they would have to order a part and that they'd call us when it was in. Then suddenly they said no... They've fixed it. Well... Turned out that actually glued the light in. It lasted a week before falling apart again. Then, maybe a month later and very few miles on the car, it had a tire issue. Took it in to Shawnee mission kia. We were told that the front brakes were shot as well as the tires. So now, a car that we paid $9000 for needed $500 worth of repairs that should have been done prior to the sale. The people at Shawnee mission kia were surprised that we had just bought it this way. I called Matt and he told me that his manager was in vacation. Call back in a week and he'd at least take care of the light. Claimed that the other dealership had taken advantage of us in an effort to sell service. I've called multiple times. No response. So..., their service department glues entire light fixtures in place and lets cars through with bad tires that need brakes. Then their sales people are perfectly fine with it. Matt has worked for them for several years and is the company's internet sales manager. I'd have expected more and couldn't be more disappointed. If you're considering a car here, take it to a mechanic of your own. My young son saved up $9000 to pay cash for a car after his was stolen. I have been going to Bob Sight Kia for the past 6 years. Until today I have always given them an outstand review. I have bought three cars from them. I went today for an oil change and for them to determine a small noise I was hearing under the hood. The service department determined it was my front brakes and told me how much it would cost. I gave them permission to fix the brakes, but when I went to pay the bill was considerably higher then I was told. I ask what had changed and they basically started to tell me all the extra things they had done. Things that I had not approved. I went ahead and paid the bill, but this is the last time Bob Sight Kia will see any of my business. There are many other Kia dealers that I can use. read more

I have bought 3 new vehicles from this place. Sales team is great. Finance guy is a con artist. Service dept is a complete hazard to the essence of integrity. The service mgr is a poor excuse for a human. If you buy a car there, make sure you have you're own financing in place. And most importantly, NEVER take your vehicle to their service dept. My boyfriend & I bought a used car here last year. These people seem normal & nice or whatever, but they're actually self-righteous, lying, vindictive, entitled jerks who will say whatever they think you want them to & then do exactly the opposite. They pride themselves on "staying one step ahead of the customers." (I overheard the manager saying this to a salesman, after purchasing the vehicle.) Anyone who thinks otherwise just hasn't figured out they've been conned. We told them not run our credit a bunch of times; they said they wouldn't then did anyway! They had over a dozen lenders run my & my partner's credit, resulting in a SIGNIFICANT credit score loss, which we only realized later through keeping track of our credit history. After doing that, they said the best rate we could get on a loan was 8.9%. And to top it off, we ended up turning around & refinancing the car through our bank for 2.9%!! And get this-- they put a phoney down payment on our paperwork. We didn't put any money down, but they said we put down $1,000.00, and changed the final selling price to be $1,000.00 more than what we actually paid. I'm pretty freaking sure that's illegal, and I don't even know why they would do that. Just another reason why we went to our bank to refinance. I'm not interested in being a party to fraud. We thought we were getting a good deal, but the car had problems... After a few days we ended up bringing the car back because it had an OBVIOUS oil leak; we noticed a spot in the driveway, and upon closer inspection found the undercarriage was covered in oil gunk. They said they "didn't notice" it when they inspected it before we bought it. Unbelievable! I then had to haggle with the service manager to get him to fix it! I also made sure they had a different mechanic fix it than the one who initially "inspected" it. The new mechanic was very forthright, and he stood up to the service manager & told him the oil leak was definitely pre-existing. A couple of weeks after THAT, I used the defogger and there was a HORRIBLE, LOUD clicking noise, like plastic gears hitting each other, when the air system changed between hot/cold. It lasted about 1 1/2 minutes. I called the service department, and they adamantly insisted it was "probably leaves in the vents." Bull crap!! So I brought it in anyway & had the 2nd mechanic take a look at it. He CONFIRMED that yes, in fact there WERE plastic gears hitting each other that were out of alignment! However, the service manager just jerked me around & wouldn't fix it unless I paid FULL PRICE for the repair, even though it was a problem that should have been fixed and addressed before the car ever left the lot. I had purchased a warranty, but that problem was not covered. The part was relatively cheap, but getting in there would be so labor-intensive that the estimate was hundreds of dollars. The service manager (Jeff) told me to try to get the sales department to pay for the repairs, but that he didn't want it affecting his department's bottom line. Why is that my problem?? Jerk! So I'm still living with the horrible, ear-splittingly loud clicking noise whenever I have to switch off the A/C. I will NEVER go here again!! read more

I walked in and wasn't quite sure what to think of this place. I was use to fancy car dealerships with rico-suave salesmen ready to smile at you, then screw you over behind your back. Though their digs are simple and their sales people are not "flashy", I had the most fantastic car purchasing experience here. Ever. Like I stood up holding my new keys, thinking "that was it?!" unable to believe I didn't get stressed, annoyed or intimidated at least once. This is a wonderful dealership, run by wonderful, genuine, great people. That's hard to find folks! I had been working with Matt over the phone, once we met he was super friendly, laid back, no pressure, super knowledgeable about their cars and it was very apparent he was ready to do whatever it took to make me happy and earn my trust and find me my perfect car. He spent a lot of time with me, test driving, educating me and then ultimately trying to find me the car in the color I wanted. Well he did, less then 24 hours later. He stayed in steady, yet not annoying phone contact with me and once I came back in to drive the car and ultimately buy it , it was seriously the easiest, most relaxed, quick car buying experience I could have ever imagined. Mike, the sales manager was so nice and made the process so simple, understandable and enjoyable as well. Him and Matt felt like friends after it was all over. I seriously closed the dealership down, but Matt was happy to sit in my car with me setting up my bluetooth and explaining how all my (many , many) bells and whistles on my new Kia Optima worked. My family has bought 6 automobiles here over the years. It's the first place we go when we're looking, and it seems to be the last place we end up when we buy. Matt Rodecap in their internet sales department is the best. They work with you on trades better than any dealer I've ever gone to. They work with you on sales prices like no other. Go in knowing your numbers, and you'll walk out with a great deal. I've throw out insane numbers for trade-in values and consequent purchase numbers for vehicles and they come back and say, "If we do that, have we earned your business today?" I'm ready for a fight, and they give me everything I ask for leaving me unsatisfied in my battle sense, but overjoyed with the value and deal that I just negotiated. I've had no issues with the service department. I've found them actually attentive and cordial. I've usually secured financing for purchases myself, but have used Kia Motors Finance for leases and have had no issues. Overall, this is a really solid dealership with outstanding customer focus. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE! I contacted them to inquire about a grey 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport. My first concern was that there were only pictures of the exterior and none of the interior. They wanted $11,500 for it which was a pretty good deal considering the features and the mileage. However, when I asked if it was still available, the salesman stated that the car was not currently on the lot because a customer had backed into the passenger's side and it was currently being repaired. He stated the estimate for repairs was $3,500. My husband noticed a pretty good sized dent on the hood from the photos and when I mentioned it to the salesman he stated, "oh, that will be repaired too." I asked them what they would lower the price on the car to since it had the damages and he stated they would not got any lower than the posted price of $11,500. Its interesting because today, 06/07/2018, they have since lowered the price of the car to $11,000 and they have taken down the front portrait of the car where you can see the dent. I would not recommend this shady dealership to anyone. I'm glad I didn't purchase a car from here. The Auto Check report doesn't list the accidents either. Buyer Beware! read more

I went today for an oil change and requested AGAIN to have my brakes looked at Justin from the service dept. said he would have them looked at. He came and informed me that my brakes were just about metal on metal. I informed I have asked almost every oil change to have them checked and I am always told they are good. Theses are the original brakes on my vehicle and I have over 90,000 miles on it. I am mad and frustrated obviously I can not trust the service dept. when they say they are performing the services that are being requested. Justin informed me a multi vehicle inspection is done each time. Really ?? There is now way they had been pulling my tires off and physically inspecting my brake pads. As a matter of fact I asked for a tire rotation and he told me I didn't need one because my "good tires" were on the front. I didn't ask him where my tires were I asked him to rotate them. I informed him how upset I was and he told me he told his service dept. manager. I would think the manager would have wanted to come speak to me but NOPE nothing. I am thankful my brakes never gave out on me and I am also happy that I have copies of all my service records requesting them to look at my brakes. Guess it time to find a new service dept or to quit buying Kia's. read more

After dealing with Dallas, Texas dealers (who were associated with Costco!), and attempting to work with a dealer in Arkansas (the model I wanted was not readily available in Texas); I found my car at Bob Sight Kia. I chatted online on a Monday night, received an email from Matt Rodecap on Tuesday morning, we had a very honest email exchange during my lunch on Tuesday, I received the paper work by 4:30, called the Matt on Tuesday night and bought the car. This is after having been strung along by a dealership in Dallas for over a month, then, essentially lied to and strung along for a week from a dealership in Arkansas. Matt made a fair deal with non of the usual dealer shenanigans. I liked all of the people I met there.. with the exception of the finance guy. He wasn't as friendly. Seemed to be miffed when I declined the $1000 extended warranty on the other things other than drive train.. which comes with a 10 year warranty. Anyway, Matt was great. I'd buy another car from him. Truly, one of the last honest guys in this business. read more

Car buying should be a delightful experience but my experience at Bob Sight Kia made me lose the enthusiasm I initially had when I went there. I paid cash for my 2015 KIA Sedona and when I was with the finance officer I told them I was paying cash. I made the mistake of showing my bank balance and he then made a scanned copy of my bank receipt and said to me, "What did you do? Hit the lottery?" I feel that that was inappropriate and the copy of my bank statement since I was paying cash was not necessary. I see this now but was not thinking. I gave them my title personal property receipt and they made copies of my new marriage certificate and other documents proving the newly wed I am and I had to ask for my paperwork to be returned to me. I got a phone call the very next day asking me to come in to sign the back of the title and did I have my personal property receipt that I had already given to them the previous day. This is a business I ask? Now it has been 30 days since I bought the car. I got a phone call today asking for the lien release receipt from the previous car. I ask, " wasn't the title enough to prove I paid the car off?' They insist that they needed the lien release form too. I was told that that was not enough for the Bob Sight Kia. I really did not believe that the title was not good enough but I went along with it but did not want to drive all the way to this dealership to give them a copy of my lien release form. ( My scanner on my computer was disconnected so I could not email them a copy). I drove all the way to Bob Sight Kia to let them make a copy of this but I don't like the way they do business. I will not recommend them to ANYONE of my friends and WILL NEVER buy a car there anymore. read more
