    I had to wait 3 HOURS for an oil change. There's no excuse for that, that's just straight ridiculous. Never going back, thanks a lot

    Wouldn't leave ONE star!…read more This has been the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I've ever had with an auto shop. My car has been there since the end of July--nearly three months--and it's still not repaired. I was never told the part was on backorder, and after contacting my warranty company, I found out the part was actually available when the repair was approved in late August/early September. There's no reason this repair should have taken this long. They also tried to overcharge me, falsely claiming the extra cost was part of my warranty deductible, which my warranty company confirmed was not true. When I asked about accountability, Pete (the manager) said it was "neither my fault nor theirs" that the part was delayed -- yet no one ever communicated anything to me throughout this entire process. To make matters worse, Jordan hung up on me, and even after calling multiple times in one day, I still received no clear update on when my car would be fixed. They finally called me back, I got a call saying I have to pay prior to them even completing the repairs. I have never even heard of such a thing! I've had my car serviced several times by Kia and NEVER have had to pay prior to my services being completed! Despite the entire headache they have caused me! They also "mistakenly" thought I traded in my car which is why the communication also stopped! This dealership has shown zero accountability, terrible communication, and complete disregard for their customers. Not once have anyone thought to even apologize or take in how I felt as the customer! I would never, ever use this dealership again -- and I strongly recommend others stay far away.

I went in for an oil change and later found out there was not enough oil put my car. My oil change light came over in between service and my son checked it said it was bone dry. As a courtesy they washed my which made mirror come off. Then try to charge me $650 to replace it. I asked them to put it back like it was.... they put some messy black tape on it. Which I had put glue on it. This was not notice by the naked eye. IT NOW LOOKS TACKY!

However, the service department is a different story. It desperately needs proper training, as every visit seems to bring a new issue. My 2021 Corvette needed a simple software update for the radio. Four hours later, they had messed it up so badly that they had to order a replacement. My wife's Chevy Tahoe was in for an oil change, and while we were waiting, they mistakenly gave our vehicle to another customer who was picking up a Tahoe for transfer to another dealership. It took two extra hours to get our car back. Most recently, I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and a recall fix on my 2024 Corvette C8. They assured me they had the necessary parts and that the repair would take only two hours. Five hours later, I returned to find my car still on the lift, and they admitted they had the wrong part. I left without the recall being completed. These incidents are not isolated--I've had similar issues in the past. At this point, I'm seriously considering taking my vehicles elsewhere for service.

I purchased a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 for over $91,000. During the sale, the salesman, Frank, told me I was not allowed to use my grandfather's legitimate GMC employee discount, despite my grandfather working over 40 years on the GMC production line and the benefit extending to family. I was pressured to pay full price under the claim that multiple buyers were "ready to buy." Frank also advised me to purchase the truck personally and later transfer it to my roofing company, a process he suggested repeating for future business vehicles. That transaction alone took over six hours. Just over a year later, I returned and purchased two more vehicles: * 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali ($10,000 down) * 2024 GMC Yukon XL Denali ($5,000 down) That transaction took over eight hours. I followed all maintenance requirements to protect my extended warranty. When my Sierra 2500's heater and mirror sensor modules failed, what should have been a routine warranty repair turned into a 27-day delay. I received inconsistent information and was eventually told the repairs were denied because I supposedly had the "wrong" extended warranty. I was never offered a commercial warranty at purchase. Only after weeks of back-and-forth, and after stating I would leave a detailed review, did finance manager Mike ("Big Mike") agree to upgrade the warranty and cover the repairs. During the delay, I lost a $16,000 roofing job because my work truck was unavailable. I requested reasonable good-faith remediation (tires and brake pads) due to the financial loss. I have received no response. I was also told by Mike that if I left a bad review, he would leave one on my company's page -- an unprofessional and retaliatory response. Despite being a repeat customer who spent well into six figures, I was met with poor communication, misinformation, and zero accountability. Contractors and business owners should be aware of how warranty issues are handled after the sale. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership.

We stopped in here because its conveniently located and easy to find. Cody was the owner and greeted us when we walked in, really nice guy, did the estimate right then and advised us of openings when he could get the car in, etc. My friend ended up choosing them to do the repair and I went with him to drop the car off. Cody's Mom is the receptionist and promised me that she would give Cody a whipping if he didn't give me a good deal. haha. She was really sweet and funny and great to deal with. Cody was very good with communicating every step of the way while repairing the car, when the parts were ordered, when they were coming in, when the repair would begin and end and when we could pick it up. We went and picked the car up and I honestly couldn't believe how good it looked, paint match and all. You couldn't tell that it had ever been in an accident at all, great work! I told as many people as I could about their shop and couldn't say enough good things about them. Then my bmw was hit in the back and had a hole torn in the bumper. I immediately thought of them and the experience I had previously with them. Just like before, Cody greeted me, remembered me and joked around like I was family. I just picked my car up today and no surprise, it looks perfect. I'm a very picky person and my Dad had a body shop previously, so I am incredibly critical. I can't find one thing to say bad about this place or the work they do. Cody's brother works there as well and is just as nice. I would say if you want perfection on the work and to feel like you're dealing with family while getting it done, this is the place to go.     STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT! The car dealer would not buy back my…read more2014 iQ (Toyota Scion brand) saying it was too old. But CARMAX didn't flinch when providing an online offer so I took it in, expecting they would lowball it, which they did: by 1/3. However, some inconsistencies were reported by the agency, reflecting odometer tampering, battery & tires purchase dates, that were bringing down the price. Jose, at the Independence store gave me a number to call and see if the agency could match the information could explain so it could be updated before COB. Agency said it would take 3 hours, already 2:30, so it would be close. Long story short, the agency came through (I didn't have to spend the night in the store, as I had decided to stay until the items were updated). The final check was just what I was quoted on the CARMAX site. I knew what my car's value was. It was PERFECT and the store could set it out on the lot without touching up anything! EVERYONE, whether selling outright, or trading, should read carefully the details on the printed estimate that can bring a car's price down several thousand dollars. I ended up walking out with a check a few hundred less than the original online offer. Hats off to employees, Jose (shop), and Tiffany & Janelle, (office) who assisted me with my mobility issues and got me out of there fast. Thanks, Indep Valley View.
