I was stranded on the side of the road about thirty miles from Independence Missouri. My insurance Company notified a towing company who had the vehicle towed to Robertson GMC. The dealer ship was concerned that my family was stranded so they sent a man named Ray with his SUV and picked up myself, the dog and my three boys and took us to the Bass Pro shop in Independence Mo to wait for my father to drive from Tulsa to Independence to get us and take us to Tulsa while we waited for our Yukon to be repaired. Since it happened on a weekend the repair could not begin until Monday. I have to acknowledge Chris the assistant service manager who came in on his day off to sort out the details of repairing the vehicle so they could hit the ground running Monday morning. Now that's customer service. The assistance and caring attitude of this dealership sets the standard for customer service. I would like to thank Mike Robinson for setting the cultural climate of excellence, compassion and unity that this dealership operates in. The cohesiveness and team work I experienced by those employed there is a rare commodity these days. Oh and you get the privilege of being forced to buy some add on "warranties". Forget bait and switch, they must take their customers as "bait and idiots". Old school car games at every turn, including holding onto your trade in key and only giving it back once you escalate. Stay clear. If they honored their own listed price, even remotely, they would have sold a car today.

This was the most pathetic version of, "you're not worth my time get out of here bud" that I have ever seen. Rude and offered no apology or offer to come back tomorrow. I sent the follow message to the service manager Mike Bradley and received no reply. I called earlier this week about scheduling an appointment for an oil change. I was specifically told by the gentleman on the phone that it was a first-come-first-serve matter. I arrived at the service center today at 2:10 p.m. The service advisor acknowledged me and asked me what I needed. I told him I wanted an oil change. He abruptly replies, "there are no oil changes available." I have visited many dealerships and have never been refused an oil change. It is not like I showed up near closing time. Whatever the reason for non-service today it did not seem right. I left this dealership and had my oil changed at Cable Dahmer Chevrolet. The oil change was a nonissue. The service underwriter was cordial and polite. Why can't your service department replicate the same service and treatment that I received today at another dealership? My intent for visiting your service center was to support the dealership that I purchased my Malibu from. Granted, an oil change is one of the more affordable service needs of customers. If you are unable to handle the minor needs of a customer, why would I return for more expensive services in the future? Communication is important. If there is a hard cutoff for an oil change then state, the policy for everyone to know and understand. I was both sad and disappointed when I left your service center today. Just today I was stuck in the Taco Bell parking lot, which was totally iced over and has a steep grade that made getting out impossible. I came into Autozone trying to buy some absorbent clay to put under my rear tires, when there was a glitch that prevented the system from ringing up the purchase they said "Merry Xmas" and said I could have it for free. Then they advised me that if I wanted I could back over the curb, across their grass and into their lot, which I did.
