The gentleman at the counter who helped might need to improve on his customer service skills. When I told him the part I needed he just walked away. And I didn't know if I should follow him or not but a short moment later he came back with the piece and dropped it on the counter in front of me. He gave me the total I gave him the money and he walked away again and I didn't know if we were done then he comes back with the receipt. Little things like "wait one moment while I go get the piece ." or "okay let me get your receipt." go a long way in the customer experience.

I don't blame them for how long it took because they kept getting bad transmissions (I had to get a used one because my car is unfortunately discontinued in USA), but their communication with everything was not on its A game:( I had to call up there to get even a sliver of an update. They did throw in a new battery and new radiator so I am GREATLY appreciative of that. But some updates and better communication would've been preferred. I've now had my car back for 2 days and I'm hearing a very loud banging noise when I'm backing up+ turning my wheel and I'm very concerned because it didn't do that beforehand.

They did a simple transmission flush. I didn't have to move the car, he was able to work around in my garage easily. Afterwards, he explained their other services and what to do if my transmission ever became a serious problem. They did charge me an additional $75 to come to Parkville, But I thought it was worth it since I didn't have to drive to my usual mechanic and wait for them to finish the job. He saved me about a day's worth of waiting and driving.
