I need four new tires so I went online and found some online. It turns out that the speed rating wasn't available in the tire I purchased. Cruz called me and then walked me through all my options. There was no pressure to pick one over the other but he did a great job of pointing out the pros and cons of each. On the day of my appointment, it was like I had pulled into a NASCAR pit. They had me in and out in 10 minutes and checked my spare while it was there. I was allowed to stay in my car during the process. The crew at the Liberty location keeps me coming back to Discount Tire. read more

We were driving across country and had an issue where we had to have two tires replaced by the Topeka, KS Discount Tire store the day prior. We ended up staying the night in Kansas City, MO and headed out the next morning. As we were driving, we could immediately tell the back end of the car was swaying and felt off. The tires were not gripping the road properly. However, we just thought this brand of tire was not responding like the brand we usually have on our car. Then it started to feel unsafe to drive further on these tires and we knew we needed to find different tires before going any further. So, we pulled in to the Liberty, MO Discount Tire Store. John came out immediately to assist us. He tried to problem solve but didn't have the tires we needed for our car. He could order them but they would arrive until the end of the day and that wouldn't work for us. John researched the database and was able to find a pair of the tires we needed at The Overland, MO store. So we headed strait to Overland....... We found John to be very nice and helpful. We appreciated his effort to assist. read more

Great crew with a get it done attitude. The way a business should be run. No appointment and they were able to rotate and balance tires with front end alignment on a Saturday. read more

Brought a tire to be plugged Saturday morning. The young man out front that greeted us said he wouldn't plug the tire due to some sort of uneven wear of the tire. So, I loaded the tire back up in my truck and went to Big O And they plugged it for free. Guess who is getting the first shot at my money moving forward. You are right, not you. read more

Yesterday, I was on my way to work when the tire pressure sensor light on my Terrain came on and warned me that a rear tire had dropped to 24 psi. While I was on the interstate, the pressure continued dropping so I knew I had a puncture. (The pressure had gone from 35 psi to 24, then to 18 in less than 8 miles driving.) I pulled into the Liberty store--I had purchased these tires there in June--around 17:15 CDT. I saw that the bays were being cleaned up, so I asked the employee near the front door if someone could take a look at the tire and fix it if possible. He looked at it and found a screw in it, then grabbed a jack and pulled the tire off immediately. When he had the tire in the shop, I looked at the front door and saw that it had actually closed at 17:00. Chris and Andrew not only fixed the tire for me AFTER closing time, but they had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes! You all have a customer for life! This is actually the second time the Liberty store has bailed me out of a bad situation; when I bought the tires in June, I'd worked all night, waited for a Wal-Mart service center across the street from my workplace for an hour and a half to tell me that they couldn't repair the tire and they didn't have anything to replace it with, then your Liberty location had me in and out with four new tires in less than an hour. MAJOR kudos to Andrew and Chris for the phenomenal service yesterday! read more

My husband and I drove in from Atlanta to visit my sister and her husband. One of our tires was flat the next morning. I have special high-speed tires (Porsche Cayenne) and I was worried that I was going to have to go to the dealer to get a new one. (It's on the other side of KC from my sister's house.) This Discount Tire actually had four Pirelli's and they were less expensive than what we paid in Atlanta at another tire store. We replaced all four tires for $1,000 less than before and they had it done in less than an hour. And everyone was so nice; being a Southerner that's a high bar. read more

Very slow service, promises not met. "Same day alignment" was not delivered. This is so frustrating. Very poor, I do not recommend

Here we are again. Thinking I might have a good experience this go around. I mean. You did say I get free balance and rotation from time to time when you charged me a arm and leg for. Took my car in for a simple balance and rotation and it turned into a mess. They broke my tire tpms sensor (at least replaced it free), then tried to upsell me $180 for the others. Go figure. Two tires were never crossed like I asked, and I never got a balancing report which I find shady. This is 2025. Just do your job and I want my tire balance report next time. Ya hear? read more

We were driving through Liberty Mo & had a blow out on our RV. Found a Discount Tire 15 minutes away. Pulled in at 15 minutes before closing. It was 92degrees. They said no problem, we'll get er done. What a great team They had several guys hussleing around, sweating & installing 4 new tires. The manager, Dwane was awesome explaining what needed to be done. He oversaw everything & the employees really responded well. All done in 30 minutes & we couldn't be more pleased. Dwane was an excellent manager & the employees responded well to his encouragement. All in all, if all Discount Tire locations operate this well, I won't consider any other tire shop. read more

I came out of my hotel this morning to find my tire flat. The lug nuts were on so tight we couldn't get them off. Discount tire was within walking distance so a gentleman came over with the gun to loosen the lug nuts and put the spare on. Less than an hour later I was driving away with a new tire. Everyone was so polit! read more

Frustrating experience. Purchased new Michelin tires for over $1400 one week ago. First drive on highway could immediately tell the tires were NOT balanced when they were installed. Explains how they replaced tires in under 30 minutes. Took it back today explaining the wheels were not balanced last week due to experiencing severe shimmy-ing when driving 60 MPH or more. Lo and behold only ONE tire was balanced, the other three were at least .5 ounce to 1 ounce out of balance. Suggestion, slow down and take the time to do a thorough job in the first place. You would have happier customers. read more

I took my car to Discount Tire in Liberty, MO to get new tires. The location, while in the process of changing the tires, bent my brake shield and broke my door lock. After returning back to them to have it checked out, they caused problems with my dashboard sensors. The company will not take responsibility for major damages that they cause no matter how long you have been loyal to them. I have been a customer for more than 25 years. Just beware!! read more

I have bought tires from this location multiple times for all of my vehicles. The tire pressure on 1 of my vehicles was kind of low so I brought it in because they offer to fill your tires up free of charge. The employee working the tire pressure line told me in order for the machine to work the tire pressure has to be at least 5 PSI and he said my tires were under that and that he could not help me. So I took my vehicle to QT and tested it myself and they were reading 15 PSI.. I for one do not like dishonest people and I will never be back to have my tires serviced here. read more

I can't say enough good things about the customer service at Discount Tire. They fix flats - no charge. They rotate tires - no charge. They check your air pressure and add air/nitrogen - no charge. They price match. They offer road hazard coverage for $11/tire for life.... even on TRAILER tires. We don't buy tires anywhere else now. It's super convenient to set up an appointment online. All these "little things" they do for free win them our business every time we need tires on any of our 8 vehicles or 2 trailers. read more

Staff was not willing to help and after getting manager involved he still refused to help. We have used them for years and use to be awesome. Just lazy men now. Where are all the awesome men from before? Welcome to 2025. read more

I needed new tires and shopped around online for a decent price. Discount tire seemed to have good selection and good pricing so I called the location nearest to my house. The tires I wanted were out of stock at that location but the manager said he would give me a better tire for the same price. I made an appointment and got in and out in less then hour. Since then I've got the tires rotated and balanced and was in and out in less then fifth teen minutes that time. Each visit the entire staff was professional and very friendly. I recommended using Discount Tire the next time you need tires or tire repairs. read more

Last month I spent $1200 on tires for my truck. This month I needed new tires for my car. I went in at 9:15. I seemed to be first in line after one other fellah (all of the car bays were empty, but one). I told the guy who checked me in and the sales guy that I had to be somewhere by 10:30. They said, "we'll have you out of here by then." I then left to window shop at Lowe's and grab breakfast at CFA. An hour later I walk up to see my car unmoved, cars in every stall in the shop, and a crowded lobby. After asking the person who sold me tires "what gives?" He said he'd get it in there ASAP. I then moved my meeting and hour and went back to Lowe's. Now, its 11:30, I'm still waiting. read more

These guys are great! I had to make a 400 mile trip total to and from KC the next morning and I have been neglecting to repair a slow leak. They got me in the same day and fixed me up! The bill was $0 as they said they repair for free and they let me know it was actually an issue with the rim but they patched me up anyway. I have purchased tires there before and trust their service! They are fast, reliable, and reasonably priced even when it isn't free! read more

Discount Tire is the best tire place I've ever been to, and I've been to many. They are helpful, quick and don't try to upsell you every time. Their tire replacement program works very well and is generally done in a matter of minutes. I'm a big fan, and I'll continue to frequent their business until I no longer have a need for tires. read more

Today was a dissapointing experience at Libery Discount Tire. I arrived at 11 AM for an 11:30 AM tire rotation appointment. Somehow the computer skipped me and I was not seen until I notified the counter staff and did not get out of the shop until after 12:15 PM read more

This used to be the BEST place for tires. I bought tires here for every car as long as I can remember. But a couple weeks ago i went in to have a slow leak checked and turned out i needed new tires which I figured I would. The service rep offered me what they had in stock which was about double what the tires usually cost and I asked if he could locate some more economical tires and order them. He clicked a few buttons on the computer and then said "I don't want to waste your time, the in-stock tires is all we have." Couldn't be possible so I said forget it and left. I went to Walmart and got the tires for almost half the price. read more

These guys are AMAZING!!! We pulled in, told them what we needed, they gave us no hassling, had us pull into a bay, put on new tires, rotated our others, we were in & out in less than 20 min! Super friendly! Super efficient! Couldn't be happier!! read more

Bought tires again from then, 2nd chance after another bad experience. Won't be a third. When bought tires, didn't ask just charged us $160 for roadside. Didn't give us rebates. Had to come back up to get $275 back. 5 days later low tire pressure gauge came on and all 4 tires had different setting. read more

We have been going to discount tires for all our tire needs for the last 5 years. Their website is very user friendly and we are able to book an appointment online. Had an inspection done on my Subaru with 75,000 miles. Recommended rear brakes and rotors for $580. Took it down the street and another shop and they turned the rotors, replaced the pads for less than half the cost. #Profit versus customer service read more

Was very impressed with the salesmanship and overall experience of getting my tires replaced here. When I got home, I realized there was a big old dent in the front panel on the passenger side. I called and let them know immediately (which was after hours on a saturday). I showed up that monday morning to talk with them, and they had my information and were about to call me. We made arrangements and go this fixed. Overall, 5 for 5 on the experience, and I am a customer for life. read more

These guys were totally respectful, quick to get everything done. They even pulled out my spare tire to make sure it was good. I thought I needed a new set and I was wrong. I save 800.00 because they were being honest. Awesome! read more

Excellent customer service. First impressions count and they certainly impressed. Picked up a screw in the back tire so I took it in to Discount Tire based on the advice of my fellow Yelpers. Told me up front there was no charge for plug and patch and it would be ready within the hour. Barely had time to do a little shopping at the nearby big box store and a text from the shop said it was ready. Definitely planning to come back based on this first experience. read more

Another perfect experience with Discount Tire!!! Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE call me by name, smile, and go out of their way to make you feel appreciated....they know you have a choice in where you will spend your money, and they don't just want your money, they EARN that privilege to serve you. Many thanks to Duane, Brett, and the gentleman who called me by my name as well and took my tires out to my truck.... how did he even know my truck??? (I am sure they watched me drive in...lol...). All this for my 2 snowblower tires!!! Thanks again, Discount Tire!!!!!! read more

Discount Tire - Discount Tires comes to Missouri!! - Tires Near Me - Liberty, Missouri

After the experience with Firestone in the area, we came here to get everything done correctly. (Read about that if you want to but I won't air out dirty laundry here). The people here were quick, efficient, and most importantly; NOT DISMISSIVE. They went above and beyond by fixing an issue caused by a lesser company. They cared about the safety of the products they sell. I appreciate that. read more

I have purchased several sets of tires here, first set they broke several wheel studs. This last they put the wrong pressure sensors in tires when replacing found out they had only replaced 3, said they forgot to put 4th one in, now when went in to have after purchase service done, they where to rebalance and rotate tires, they refused to rotate, said one tire too worn inside, as a old tire man myself I inspected the tire and took it to another tire shop who seen nothing wrong with the tire, no where on the tire was the wear at or below tire wear marks, this business is very dishonest and doesn't stand behind service read more

Went in for 4 new tires, after paying 1,000 2 days later went on trip, within an hour was losing air in one tire. Found out a part of tire valve was not put on and tire was going flat. Was shown the part and it is basic to tire, not sure how it was missed, luckily we got it fixed quick and back on road. Won't visit this shop again. read more

I needed a set of tires for our 2017 Sorento. Got on line, picked the ones I wanted, made a call to the store to reserve them, and took it in the next day. They had my car done in less than an hour! What a wonderful experience! Stranded in Liberty with a nail in my tire. They were so nice on the phone and in person. Every person there called me by name, and made sure to pronounce it correctly. No one likes to spend time at a tire store. After a couple visits, one for new tires and one this evening for an offensive screw in a new tire, I'd assert that the folks at Discount Tire know that they have a steep hill to climb on the way to great customer service. There's a little salesmanship going on but no more than being offered dessert at a restaurant. Their prices have been surprisingly reasonable and the service is very friendly and personable. Beyond all odds, a tire store gets five stars. read more

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, fast service and not a bad price. Best place to go for tires.

Was in great hurry to get tires because of snow storm and many miles to drive. Was quoted on phone and then he tried to increase price once I was there. They installed the cheapest tires they had , "Arizonian " for the price of the better tires he had quoted me. At least they got me out quickly. Overall mixed experience with these guys. Might come back idk. read more
