Took the car in to get tires done and the process was extremely easy! I love the no hassle financing because we all know tires can be extremely expensive. We did not have an appointment but we were able to get in quickly. After leaving the car they discovered another issue which meant more money. After price checking the work at other shops this was the best deal and they already had the car so why not. Our car came out great! The tires look good and it drives great! I'll never go to Rnr for a thing ever again. I purchased tires and tos sensors from them. I make my weekly payments every week. I had an issue this week so I called the store an let them know my payment would be the following week as I'll be paying them off completely. I check my bank account for a decline at the grocery store an come to find out the went ahead an helped them self into my account with out my verification an took payment after I was assure it was all ok because I pay on time weekly. They are nice when you're starting up an account with them. Over time you'll see how rude they can be. I've spoken with multiple people at this location and every single one of them have been rude. They don't like to be called out, and when they do wrong they are narcissistic and switch it on the customer. Terrible place, terrible staff, terrible service. I have been a repeat customer for years now!! My first two time was great friendly staff easy to work with!! ......... Till this time I had 90% of 6months same as cash paid but then I lost my place to live and the car with the tires and then my job I tried multiple times to get a extension on my payments but no one was able to get me a straight response. I got harassed by a man named Billy that was not professional at all talked to me like I was his child!! Now I keep letting them know I have paid what I can I have no job so they come back with collections will still get collected!! How if there is nothing to collect. I am just frustrated because I really liked them but this time was the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE!!! I won't be recommending anyone else to use them!!!! read more

Stopped in the St. Joseph store to check out some new wheels. Very confused by the prices attached to the various wheels that they have available. One price states $31.00 per week, same as cash if paid within 6 months. Then there is the price for the set. When I inquired about a set of wheels that listed for just over $700.00 I was informed to get the same as cash the payment would be $197. and some change. That is for 6 months. So what was advertised as $700. is actually closer to $1,200. There is NO way you can buy these wheels for $31.00 a week. Not even close! Not sure how other people would perceive the way they do business, but I feel their business is a scam. Of course I did not purchase the wheels. I hope other people ask the right questions before signing on the dotted line. I have a feeling that they won't be in business long in St. Joseph. Not sure how this company is still in business, doing things like this to customers. Anyway I bout some rims from this store had them for about a month before the chrome started peeling off one of them, so I contacted wayne and he said itll take about a week to get a new rim in. Ok no big deal so I let about 3 weeks go by dont hear anything from them so I call wayne again, his excuse was that the sender lied about sending it so he'll have them send it this time. Another 2 weeks go by, I had to call again, wayne says his distributor just got the rim in this morning so itll be a couple days. Another 2 weeks went by still haven't heard anything. So this time I called there corporate office ( amazing how fast they move when you put a call into them) so I get a call the next morning from the owner Jason, he tells me that hes on it and I'll get my rim soon. So another week goes by I call Jason the rim finally gets there but it's at the wrong store it's in Gladstone. So I go to Gladstone get the new rim installed and this rim is even worse then the other one was. This rim they installed wasn't even completely finished from the maker, the lug nut holes are all bored out from someone drilling em out so it was missing parts of the chrome on it. I posted some pics of the rim. So I call Jason and this time he tells me there's nothing he can do that's how it is. So be careful buying from this place they are supposed to have a year warranty It is like pulling teeth talking to these people. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone. I hate that I have to even give them one star. From the beginning my experience has been horrible. The lady who answer the phone is completely rude, she has disconnected the call multiple times and has also connected my call with another customer. I had my tires for only a few days before I notice I had a huge knot in one of them. I was charged to replace the tire even though I just bought them a few days before. The store manager Sal makes this store no better he argues with his customers and allow his employees to act very poor towards the customers as well. Great company got me in and out with money in my pocket. They were 100 dollars cheaper per tire than dub empire.

I was driving on 435 and realized my car was shaking a lot. I knew I needed an alignment, but the problem was much worse than expected. I friend of mine has pointed out that my tires were shot. So there it begins. I hear this radio ad for RNR tire and wheel in Raytown. What caught my attention was the flexible payment plans they had. Not everyone can come out of pocket immediately for a set of tires. I decided to look into this place and found that they have locations all over the U.S. That made me feel better. After going to these NTB stores and Firestone branded places, I really didn't feel like the hassle of being upsold on everything else they could gouge me for. I only wanted tires and an alignment. So before walking in, I called. A gentleman named "Sal" answered the phone and was very helpful. I told him I needed tires, and he immediately started telling me options for the sizes and prices. Sal was very knowledgable when it come to life expectancy, rain and weather performance and ride quality. I felt good about the call and learning they don't do a 5000 point inspection to sell me something else. It looked like I was just getting the alignment and tires!! I come in the store and meet Sal, he was great and remembered me from the call a few days prior. Within minutes I was sitting in the lobby while my car was being taken care of. The selection of wheels they had in stock was impressive and like nothing I've seen before. I almost bought a set to upgrade my car. Donnie the Manager come to visit with me while I was grazing the displays, and told me how financing and flexible paying worked. I decided that this wasn't the car to upgrade, but when I get one, you'd better believe that these guys will get my business! Finally the Manager came to get me, and went through the alignment sheet with me, as well as the tire warranty and list of extras. I had no idea this was such a inclusive package. A gentleman was there with the manager and had introduced himself as Jason. Once again, a stand up guy. Jason was with other customers, but took the moment to say hello and acknowledge me. That's big in my opinion, it tells me that these guys care about their business and most of all, customer satisfaction. Later after making payment, Donnie tells me "Jason's the boss here, he's a great guy". I agreed. Overall, I would recommend this shop to anyone in the market for tires and or wheels. They really have a grasp of what return business and honesty means. A+ rating!! read more

i bought rims and tires and wanted to pay them off in 6 months no interest so during the 6 months the contacted me every week letting me no to make a payment except for 3 times then they would contact me late saying that there system shut down so that made my payment late when the six months was up they come talking about i needed to make a large payment or that the cost of the payout would double, so instead of paying 2500 they want 5000 there a scam dont do it read more

Called to get a quote for 4 tires. The guy that answered the phone was less than helpful and unwilling to assist me. I asked him if I was taking up too much of his time and said I would take my business elsewhere, he hung up. Shame too. I stopped in there at closing time one evening and the guys were super helpful in patching my girlfriend's tire. I asked what do I owe and was told nothing, just consider RNR first when ready for tires. I'm a man of my word, so that's what I was attempting to do. New customer lost. read more

This place has been nothing but a disappointment. My car was totaled last week, I called and spoke to sal on Sat July first at 11 am. and informed him of what was going on with my volvo! he told me they would come out swap the tires out, take their tires and put some on the car, used scrap tires! and take theirs, and get me out of my lease! Ok! perfect! so i thought! I call monday at 9:09 am to see what is going on, when they will be there to swap tires as my mother in law is home and awaiting them to come take care of this! he says before noon! ok, cool! so i thought! i get a call from my mother in law that, my volvo is sitting outside my home! ON BLOCKS! I call speak to sal, at 847 pm July 3rd! to be told, well we didn't have any scrap tires, and he also told me, well the car is totaled, so it can be towed without tires! Excuse me? no, my ins took pics of the car with tires! not without! and i told him this, and also told him that, the kansas city police dept has been by my house several times and think the car is stolen and wants to tow it, but it looks abandoned and stolen! my ins company will be out to get car wed, and i need tires on my car asap! he says well we are closed tom nothing we can do! Sure wish I would've been a Yelp user before going to this place! I got 4 new tires, total price was just over $900. They gave me a payment schedule that listed weekly amounts including how much interest would be charged if not paid off within 180 days. It also listed payment due dates & the remaining balance after the payment is made on that particular date. After paying off the total due amount off $900+ that was listed at the top of the payment schedule, I received a call saying I missed my payment date. I spoke with Alex, who said he was the manager, & told him I was confused as to why I received the call because according to my payment schedule, the last payment I made paid the same as cash amount off. He then went on to rudely advise me the payment schedule did not include an $8 per week insurance charge & I still owed over $300! When I asked him for contact info for someone higher up than him, he stated "there is noone above me & when you get your attitude together call me back" and hung up the phone on me! read more
