Rating: 1 Star (Avoid) I am incredibly disappointed with the service and the failure of the extended warranty promises at this Discount Tire location. I purchased four new tires and the Extended Warranty in January 2024 (total purchase over $2,000). This location has been the only place servicing my tires since, including two nail repairs (last service in June 2025). Today's Experience (Nov 17, 2025): I took my Audi in for a routine rotate and balance and was told they could not service the vehicle due to severe, premature uneven wear on my tires. The biggest shock? 1. Failure to Warn: This issue was never once flagged during any of my previous visits, despite being serviced exclusively by them. 2. Refusal of Inspection: The associate admitted they do not perform alignment checks or services on luxury vehicles like Audi, BMW, or Mercedes. It is absolutely unacceptable that they failed to flag an issue they refuse to service, allowing the uneven wear to get worse. Their solution? They offered to cover one tire under the warranty but insisted I pay over $500 for the second tire. I declined this cost-splitting offer. Why purchase an expensive extended warranty if the maintenance provider won't even diagnose the root cause (alignment) and still expects the customer to pay for premature wear they never warned about? If you own a luxury vehicle, be warned: they are unwilling to fully service your car, yet they will hold you financially responsible when issues they missed arise. Everyone is so respectful and thorough. If you buy your tires here, come back and they rotate them for free and do several routine safety and maintenance checks on your tires. There's lots of education pieces in the store so you can learn why a recommendation is made. They always make me aware of immediate or upcoming needs, but they don't pressure me. I stopped in today to get a tire repair, note I've bought several set of tires and wheels from this location in the past, I had a tire that I bought from them get a nail in it, it was in a Sunday, so I put a auto parts store plug in it to get by, when I told them that is what I done, they proceeded to tell me those are for lawnmower tires, they have been using plugs for manny generations, all they would of had to do is break it down deem it out and replug/patch it, I would of been on my way, but know, they tell me they cannot touch the tire I bought from them, just because of a plug, I will never buy a tire or recommend them to anyone. read more

I have never had a negative experience with Discount/America's Tire. Their service quality is consistent from California to the Midwest. I appreciate that the staff does not try to upsell me on things that I don't need, they'll suggest multiple tires across various price ranges and explain how they're rated. I was out of town and had a low pressure light appear. I arrived to this location at 10am and once checked in I got a link at 10:15am for the status tracker. It's not busy as it was raining when I arrived. It's an hour later (11am) and the status tracker says it's still awaiting service, it also says my arrival time was between 10:38-11:05am which is definitely inaccurate by at least 30 min and frustrated me that their computer system can screw up like that. It has changed my ETA for completion to 11:40am which is 25 min later than projected when checking in. I've never waited this long at a Discount Tire in my life. read more

Lied to me saying that they were appointments when I clearly heard and talked to the people coming in. They definitely do not care about your time. I was the very last person to leave. This is my go to shop for tire repairs. I love how they will go over different options for tires, and they don't try to pressure me into anything, I remember my first time being like "I can't afford that right now" and they were "Okay, well here's what we can do for now" so, later when I could afford what I wanted, I came back. As compared to other places I've bought tires from, the tires I bought from them have lasted a lot longer than previous places and the warranty is far superior. As other reviews will say, their customer service is fantastic. it's a first come first serve kind of bases, they're honest about how long it may take, but they have a system to get people taken care of as quickly as possible without lowering their standard of quality. for example: when the snow storm hit and everybody's tire pressure was running low, they anticipated the line. Instead of having everybody park and wait for the normal bay to be open, they created an express lane for their tires to be checked and aired, then sent people on their way. although I felt sorry for the guy who had to stand outside, I appreciated the efforts they went to keep the line moving! read more

Front counter staff is nice. Only thing is they lack sense of urgency when it comes to customers in the lobby. Came for my appointment and waited 20 min to check in. Seems like the staffs priority is in coming phone calls rather than the customers waiting in line. Good service on my tires, however their windshield wipers suck. They put in new ones and they don't work well so went in to switch to upgrade one and they are not much better. And the guy said maybe we didn't change them, I told him I was missing a wiper so I know It was put on and you charged me for it, and when I got the upgraded one he mentioned putting the one he took off my car back on shelf....makes me wonder if they are putting new ones on people's car.... read more

Purchased new tires here. Tires are great but they wouldn't put our new front tires on because they said our studs and lug nuts were stripping and they would break off. I understand this being an issue so we went home. At some point the hub cap came off that was not put back on correctly so it was lost and they won't do anything to replace that for us. My husband replaced all the studs and lug nuts on the front of the car that were in question. Went back to have the new front tires put on and they managed to strip out one of the brand new studs... so now I at least have new tires but I'm missing a hub cap and a stud that will need replaced again. read more

John...behind the counter...said the cheapest he could do was $200....or was a wheel...now of course the other 3 dont match ...I asked John...a Mexican guy and the guy that brought me my keys.....all 3 lied to me....I asked them to air up tires all the way around the car....got in car....they aired up the one I had fixed....now the other 3 are still low. ..I just spent $200....and all 3 lied.....Wow....not good!!!!! read more

Our worst car service experience ever - I made an appointment for 4:30pm - 1.5 hours before close. They told us they would text us when they were done and we gave them our number. They told us it would take about 45 minutes and since we live a few minutes away, we dropped the car off to come back whenever they texted us that they were done. 5:45pm rolls around and we are wondering what was taking longer than 45 minutes since we had not received a text or call yet. 5:52pm rolls around and we finally get a call and they are wondering where we are because they close in 8 minutes - and if we are not there, we could not pick up my car tonight which I would need for work the next day (the whole reason we made an appointment 1.5 hours before close and gave our phone number to them). No communication, and no accountability or responsibility taken at the fact that they did not communicate when the car was ready for pickup. read more

This is my second time at Discount Tire and unfortunately I am not happy with the job at all. After investing a lot of money in my 4 new tires, they gave me my car with the paint peeled off. The saddest thing is that the same person who gives it to you, who knows what he is doing, does not recognize his bad job and to top it off, his manager justifies the damage with an old scratch that the car had in the back. I have gone to discount tire for years for tire repair, finally decided after all the times they bailed me out of a rough situation I would buy a full set, gotta support those that support you yknow. Well, when I went I got John as my tire specialist (think that's what you call it) he was honest, was professional and very quick- no BS - gave me a couple options. I took his recommendation and I was not disappointed. They finished faster then I was quoted and using the online appointment scheduler and that ensured I walked in, set up my stuff, left and it was done in a flash. 10/10 would recommend. While the employees were kind, I had an appointment at 3:30 pm and my car wasn't brought back until 4:45 pm after I mentioned it to them. They lied to me and said the guy who checked me in had an emergency, left in a hurry, and set my paperwork and keys aside on accident. But he was still there working, he was actually the one to tell me I needed a new tire. I was not offered any type of compensation for my wasted time and didn't leave until 5:13 pm. I love the business model of Discount Tires. They work fast to get you in, it also helps if you can make an appointment. I bought my tires there. They were quick getting them on and balanced. I went back a few months later and they rotated for free. I had ran over something and punctured one of the tires and they quickly fixed it at no charge as well. When the weather got super cold, of course my tire pressure was low so I stopped by one of their locations to get it checked in their drive through lane. They checked and aired up to spec free of charge. I would recommend them for anyone looking to replace tires! read more

Absolutely the worst service I've ever received. I dropped a wheel off for them to put a tire on it. The next day I came in and I had to wait two hours for them just to put it on my car. Something that took me five minutes to do in my parking lot. I understand they're busy but and I I was there waiting for a good 20 minutes before somebody even acknowledged me. When they got me on the list, other people got put in front of me. I had one wheel to bolt on in my car. It's something they could've done out in their lot. In retail there are tons of places where you can buy the same thing. Tires are no different. Price matters. Discount Tire almost always has the best price. Selection matters. They have or can quickly get anything I've ever needed from them. Service matters most. And boy, is this where they shine! From going out of their way to accommodate you or offering to stay open an extra hour to fix a flat on a you're that's almost out of warranty this place is amazing. I'm definitely one of those people who shop around for everything? Except tires. For that I just go to Discount Tire. I can't recommend them highly enough. A+++ for customer service!! I'd been having an issue with my one of my tires for at least a year where my tire pressure light comes on every month. (Tires are only 18 months old!?) Dealership where I purchased the tires, refused to help without charging me. Walked in, the gentleman (I don't know his name, sorry!) asked me to pull around to a side garage door to check and see if it was an easy fix and it absolutely was! The core in the valve stem was loose apparently. He tightened it up, aired up the tire, and sent me on my way!! I cannot say thank you enough!! The customer service was amazing. I had a VERY hard time finding tires for my Lincoln MKT in the city and the gentlemen here went above and beyond to get me the tires I needed in a timely manner. They spoke to me patiently numerous times throughout a day to figure out what would be best for me and my budget. They even went as far as to send 1 of the employees to go to the distribution center to retrieve it for me! Much appreciated. I was greeted right away at the door with a smile and a handshake and basically knew who I was. They had my order basically prepared and even matched another business discount for me. That's personalization. All in all they have won my business and I recommend them. ONLY DING they get is for the store and not the service. I needed to work while away from the office and needed a wifi connection. Corporate needs to get them outfitted with a comfortable customer lounge area with this, water, and possibly a tv. I unfortunately have to change a previously good review. We ended up with an installation error on a wheel (over tightened lugs) that led to all of the lug bolts shearing off and causing a decent amount of damage. Discount tire has refused to stand by their work and honor their warranty and has refused to pay for their error. read more

Shopped all around for tires today, and had almost given up. Almost every place I went to had long wait times, added fees, and salesmen trying to add in additional Services, etc. I know that is par for the course when buying tires, having worked in the business years ago. I was pleasantly surprised when on my last stop at Discount, I was greeted in the parking lot with a handshake. I can be a bit picky about tires, but they were more than patient with me, and showed me several different types and brands. When I mentioned that the local firestone had given me a quote at about 50 bucks less, they price matched it, and did so on tires with a better warranty and reviews. Their team of tire techs was amazing. Instead of one guy working on the car, they had a whole team, that worked fast. The whole process from the time I pulled in the parking lot to the time I left was around 45 mins, maybe less. The shop on 23rd is fairly new, but it is still one of the cleanest I have ever seen. The tech were cleaning the floors, machines, etc. with downtime in between cars. You can watch them working on your vehicle the whole time, which is nice. Every employee I saw seemed to be in a good mood and friendly, despite it being a hot summer day in the middle of the afternoon. The next time I need tires for a vehicle, this will be my first stop. read more
