Just left this gas station after filling up my tank only to find out that I was charged an…read moreadditional $100.00 fee on top of my fuel charge. My total came to over $120.00. It's important to note that I used my debit card on the pump outside and entered my pin like I do every other time I fill up. After seeing my bank statement I immediately returned to the store to hopefully get an explanation and a refund of my money. I was told that this is essentially a hold on my money by the store. Some sort of "insurance policy" if you will, and that I would be refunded my money after a 24 hour period. The clerk actually told me that this was "nationwide." I've never heard of such a thing. No one I have talked with has heard of this either. There was nothing posted as far as I could tell that explained their $100.00 money grab tactic. If I would have seen such a posting, my business would have been taken elsewhere. Part of me thinks that they know this and would rather not disclose to the customer that there are going to hold all that money for a day. I have used this gas station on many occasions and will be taking my business elsewhere from here out. This is NOT as common as they would like to believe. It is tricky and deceitful. This "nationwide" policy should be posted at the pumps. PLEASE BE ADVISED: After using a debit card at their pumps, a $100.00 fee will be added to your account for 24 hours. Steer Clear!

I've been there three times now, driving from Liberty, and I've tried plenty of auto places across the state in 40 years . The people here are fantastic. I couldn't ask for better employees. I even watched how they treated other customers--very respectful and patient. They were especially kind with me, even when I didn't fully understand everything as a older lady . It all started with a phone call--a very nice lady who told me to come in and that they'd take care of my tire. Meanwhile, the Walmart auto center in Liberty/KC wouldn't even answer their phone for two days. The difference in service is night and day. Here, they got my car done in about 45 minutes. In Liberty, it's never less than two hours.Ive lived in Liberty 15 yrs and worse Walmart ever . I really hope ES Walmart stay this way, because I'll gladly keep driving the extra 15 miles for this kind of service. .. Here's a suggestion--maybe consider giving this team a bonus for being one of the best Walmart Auto Centers around. We were all frustrated with her taking her frustration out on the customers as it was obvious she didn't want to do her job. I had 6 items. I stood in line for 18 mins and then someone told a few of us to step over to her. I did this and the very first thing that came out of her mouth to me was I guess I have to do 2 jobs and I'm about to blow up for others not responding to the call out on the intercom to come up to help. I told her it would help if they more than 2 cashiers at any time of the day. I expected her to say to me I'm sorry you had to wait so long and I hope you found all that you needed. But nope. I heard about her problems. There wasn't a one of us that walked out of there satisfied with the service or should I say lack of service. It was terminal 55739686 at 13:57 pm. St 00195 OP#005124 TE 15 TR 02465 again. This does not surprise me as Walmart is lacking in so many areas of expertise.
