In 2015, Live Oak moved to their current location on a beautiful property along the Colorado River, opening a taproom and biergarten. One its unique features...it's off the beaten path of other breweries. Live Oak Brewing is north of the airport and backs to the Fast Park remote airport parking lot. At first glance it looks like it's a convergence of a fire station and deserted manufacturing plant. The grounds are impeccable...tall statuesque trees, lush green vegetation and an extensive outside biergarten. It feels like you are in a nature bubble. Interestingly, Live Oak Brewing has its own on site 18 hole disc golf course (different from traditional golf) located directly on the brewery's property. Live Oak Brewing's interior has the feel of a German Hofbräu...homey, spacious, and welcoming, with long communal tables that encourage conversation and human interaction. You can see directly into the brewing space, with large tanks and equipment. Also, board games are available if you choose to play. Live Oak is family friendly and dog friendly. In fact, Groot, the owner's dog, freely roams through the brewery drinking area. While I only had sips of beer (not a big beer drinker), my friends enjoyed their beers. This was a great decision as I quickly realized I was working with experienced arborists. Chris arrived on time for our gratis consultation and provided guidance regarding caring for our 3 trees. We scheduled a follow up to discuss elevating the canopies and trimming/shaping our trees. Their work crew arrived on time and did a great job. I reviewed the job and asked for some additional trimming which they did. Most importantly they removed and hauled away all the debris. Are these guys the cheapest, no, but they are professionals, provide 5-star arborist service, and expert advice.

When a burger is ordered plain, one can taste the meat without it being covered up with condiments. Their burger was nothing special. I enjoyed it, but I'm not Jonesing to return. My daughter loved hers. The brioche bun was different, I'm ambivalent about it. If she wants to return, then I'm fine with that.

He was recommended by several people in my neighborhood group who have used his services. Our contact Harrison always makes sure we are taken care of and he's so responsive to our concerns. The crew who planted the trees was amazing and friendly and professional. Recently we were having issues with one of our trees and Harrison had Zack P and Nick D come out to take a look as soon as possible. They were knowledgeable and helpful and set us up on a course to correct the problem. They truly go above and beyond and it adds to the value of the overall experience. In a world where it's hard to get anyone to respond to anything, their customer service is exceptional. Since we are neurotics, it means a lot to us that they clearly care about the tress as much as we do--even after they leave their nursery. They were so good we just got another tree!
