It's a small place but very comfortable and plenty of room for a good service. My best friend chose cremation for his child and the room for the viewing had projector screen for videos and sharing of the deceased life through a slide show. They also have it setup where you can play music through a laptop through the speakers in the room. There was a podium available so everyone who wanted to good give their speech and say their last words about the deceased. I definitely thinking about choosing this place for my future plans, it was very convenient and close to my home where I live in the area. Access to the facility from toll 130 is very easy to access no matter which side of the frontage road you're on. I will say parking is a premium if you have a lot of visitors for a funeral here. Over all great experience here visiting. I will recommend that the staff get a little technical savy. That was the only flaw that caught my eye.

The entire lot was full and I ended up parking in front of 5 cars- which turned out to be fine, but I just felt a low grade, mild dose of anxiety feeling bad for the cars I parked in front of during the event. FYI- Show up early and get a real parking spot. Or, if you have to leave early or don't want to be trapped, park somewhere else. The staff were great, rooms great, food area/reception was a bit tight for this event, but everything was handled nicely. Thanks Beck for helping us celebrate a beautiful woman!

It is directly behind the Palm Valley Lutheran Church which is a historical building. All the graves are very well laid out and ordered primarily into family burial plots. There are acres of old headstones , recent ones and some waiting to be interred in their future plot. There is a single paved lane that runs through the center of the cemetery dividing the old and the new graves. I'm sure many of these headstones belong to the Who's Who of Round Rock and local history. This is still an active cemetery and I found several recent graves from 2022. There is also more room for additional plots on the back side should you decide this is the place to be your forever home. The church had a historical marker, but I did not see one for the cemetery. The pictures in this review don't fully capture just how beautiful this place is.

This is a small Hispanic cemetery located on County Road 137 just a few miles outside of Hutto. It…read moreis less than an acre in size and most of the burials are post 2000 making it an active cemetery. It is basically surrounded by the quiet countryside, but there are a couple of residences nearby. There are a handful of headstones from the early part of the 20th century, but sadly they are in a sad state of disrepair. Many of these graves are well taken care of by living family members which adds some nice color to the place. It should be noted that there is another Santa Maria cemetery located in Pflugerville which shares the same name. The cemetery has been fairly well cared for, although there are some trees growing directly out of some of the graves that should've been cut down. One thing that is nice to see are all the touching the momentos and decorations left by friends and family. There is a single gravel lane that leads about 100 feet into the cemetery for visitation purposes.

It sits just on the outskirts of the Hutto city limits and despite still being somewhat in the country, there are some new homes next to it. There are quite a number of headstones from the 1800s and there are many veterans buried here including a couple of confederate soldiers. The cemetery has a single lane gravel road running through the sections. This is still an active cemetery judging by a few very recent burials. There is a Texas historical sign at the entrance that tells you some great historical facts and is included in the photos of this review. This location is well manicured and the headstones are well arranged, not scattered about. You'll find many well cared for headstones, but there are no above ground mausoleums. This is one of the nicest cemeteries worthy of spending some time walking through.

The services Austin Cremations provide are above and beyond what is offered at the low-dollar establishments. Their services included transporting my mother from the funeral home to their facility, helping order the death certificates, getting the doctor's signatures, notifying social security and they perform single person cremations. From the time I called, and through the entire process, Mitzi was very professional, kind and sensitive. I would highly recommend Austin Cremations to anyone in need. Weed Corley and Fish picked her up and I was given contact info for Ingur at Austin Cremations. 1. 4/22/17-Ingur made initial call. said she would send some docs to my email. I opened email which did not seem mobile compatible, and the docs were exhaustive and confusing with no direction from AC on what to sign etc. I replied that I would prefer to come in and do Business in person. AC sent an appt time and the address to the location. 2.4/24/17- The location is just a small office in an industrial park. It does not appear that the office is staffed daily. But probably just for when people prefer to come in person. I was met in the office by Mitzi who seemed to be annoyed that I brought my 1 yr old son. Unfortunately I have no family in town and my mom used to watch my son full time, so with her sudden passing I was left with no option but to bring him in. I apologized for having to bring him, but set him up with some toys and a blanket to play on. Mitzi said she was just recovering from "something" and would not prefer to touch the child or otherwise she would have offered to help with him, so she said but somehow I doubt that. She was very cold, indifferent to the whole thing it felt like. If it was a hospital I would have said she had a very cold bedside manner. I was crying because I never thought at 32 I would be making arrangements for my mother. During paperwork, my son had a dirty diaper and needed to be changed. I asked if I could change him in the restroom and she hesitated for an awkwardly long time and looked put out by my question. I said " oh don't worry about it I will just change him right here" I pulled out my diaper pad, changed him right there on the office floor and then walked to their VERY nice restroom to throw it away and wash my hands. I finished paperwork and I left shortly after that. 3.4/28/17 she had emailed a document to me but I didn't know if I was supposed to sign or if my step dad was supposed to sign so I reached out and called twice and sent a text to get further clarification. She finally called back on May 1st and said she had phone trouble. In this day and age. Phone trouble with your personal cell phone that you use constantly for business purposes to be out of service for that many days, seems implausible. 3 days with no service? I highly doubt that. 4. 5/1/2017 When I finally got a call back she was very rude to me. Her exact words were "so you haven't signed that paper? Well I can't get any of THIS started until I get that doc back!" I explained that this was my first death and after life planning to deal with so I needed her patience and guidance to help we thru it. I sent back the doc. I also asked where my mother's rings were going to be so I could pick them up, hospice couldn't get them off her hand when she passed due to swelling. Mitzi said she didn't have any rings. I asked her to please make the call to the downtown facility and double check. She called me back shortly and said my mother was not wearing any rings. She knew that for sure. Etc. etc. so we began to panic as it didn't cross our minds at the time that we would need to worry about where the rings would go after she was taken. 5.5/15/2017- after multiple calls from me, my step dad, and my uncle over the last two weeks my uncle was able to make contact at 10am. We needed to pick up death certificates for a legal issue. I was not contacted by AC until 1pm that same day that the DC's were ready and needed to be picked up today before 3 pm. Really I have been trying to contact for two weeks and you give me a two hour window to come by and pick them up? So thankfully I was able to make arrangements and come pick up the DC's as I was told. NO ONE PREPARED ME for the fact that my mother's ashes were there/ready AND THE RINGS WERE THERE! The rings that I thought were lost forever! The rings MITZI ASSURED ME were not there or in their possession and that my mother wasn't wearing ANY jewelry. I was overcome by emotion at the sight of the black box and the rings. I had to call in for the rest of the day at work because I was too emotional. OVERALL my experience was AWFUL. They seemed unorganized, unconcerned and unresponsive. I guess I should add I mostly dealt with MITZI but the idea of her as a Funeral director haunts me. -4/12/2018. I wrote this last year and saved in my drafts for nearly a year. But with the anniversary of my mom's passing coming near, the nightmare they caused became fresh again and I am posting this now in efforts to maybe save someone else some heartache and grief.

The property is only a couple of acres in size and has a gravel lane that runs around the perimeter on the property also sits a well-made pagoda like structure that is dedicated to some previous church members. The cemetery is well laid out in family plots and is well taken care of, even the headstones appear to have been cleaned. The majority of the graves are from the 20th century but there are a handful of recent additions. This is referred to as a church graveyard, however, there is no church on or next to the property. The two most notable names found throughout the property are Almquist and Johnson. There appears to still be additional space for interments and a photo included in this review has the information you need in case you wish to inquire.
