This is unquestionably one of the most well-maintained, organized and manicured cemeteries you will find anywhere in the state. It is directly behind the Palm Valley Lutheran Church which is a historical building. All the graves are very well laid out and ordered primarily into family burial plots. There are acres of old headstones , recent ones and some waiting to be interred in their future plot. There is a single paved lane that runs through the center of the cemetery dividing the old and the new graves. I'm sure many of these headstones belong to the Who's Who of Round Rock and local history. This is still an active cemetery and I found several recent graves from 2022. There is also more room for additional plots on the back side should you decide this is the place to be your forever home. The church had a historical marker, but I did not see one for the cemetery. The pictures in this review don't fully capture just how beautiful this place is. read more
