3.5 This is a very…read morenicely maintained cemetery. Several of the graves were covered in rose bushes and floral arrangements that you may not see in other places. There were some gravel pathways and and some statuary that were very pretty. Behind the graves there was a prayer walk way with headstones, chimes and figures dedicated to St. Francis of Asisi. There is no real parking lot to speak of but you can park on the gravel near the opening of cemetery. Also, there are no real bathrooms here. There is a port o potty but it's super gross so be aware to take care of that somewhere else.

Apparently, viewing your loved one prior is optional and at the discretion of the funeral home. Not likely. Once your loved on arrives at the cemetery the casket cannot be opened. The program includes seeing the closed casket for 20 minutes at the Travis County Wells School Cemetery Pavilion. You must leave the property during internment for 1hr to 1hr 1/2. They will mark the grave with a stake with the deceased persons name written on it until a small name plate is placed upon the concrete right next to their grave. If you have no options, just be prepared for what to expect.
