Precita Social gets it right from the moment you walk in. The decor is intentional, the service is warm and attentive, and the food feels genuinely cared for at every step. We worked our way through oysters, a uni handroll, and their house bread, and each dish landed beautifully. What really elevated the experience was the Dubai chocolate at the end, a perfect finishing touch that felt both playful and polished. This is the kind of spot that makes you want to clear your calendar and come back soon!

We had an excellent meal at Precita Social. Highlights were the scallop crudo, lobster and uni hand roll, and sizzling rice, but honestly everything was delicious and there wasn't anything that we wouldn't order again. Make sure to get the house baked rolls and whipped butter. It was the star of the show! Service was impeccable. Always appreciate servers with dry humor. The vibe is casual and welcoming!

I was coming in from New York. I've been keeping an eye on their restaurant. It looks really good and I wanted to impress family that I was visiting. We enjoyed a good meal together there. The food was very good, very fresh & seasonal. Our server was very sweet and welcoming. If you go you MUST get the rolls!!! You can tell the chef really cares about his guests.

Precita Social is a solid neighborhood spot with creative, well‑prepared dishes and a fun vibe, but it's definitely on the pricier side with smaller portions. The food is good overall--flavorful, thoughtful, and plated nicely--but you'll leave wanting just a bit more for the price. That said, the **pork belly rice** is the standout on the menu and absolutely worth ordering. The pork is rich and tender, perfectly balanced over rice with a nice mix of savory and umami, and it's easily the dish that makes the meal feel worthwhile. If you go, treat that as your must‑order and plan around it; everything else plays more of a supporting role. I also enjoyed the black cod and the shaved ice dessert. I would skip the burger. Good for a date or casual dinner, but keep an eye on the check and shareable plates.

3.5 STARS These days, we celebrate small wins...like making it out of the group chat! AND, not having to plan a meal around picky AF friends who eat like a toddler. Precita Social (sister resto to 3rd Cousin) opened in August 2025 and it was the perfect place to meet for a nice, sit down meal without dealing with traffic. Indoor and outdoor parklet seating. Rezzies were easily made one week prior but you need to cancel within 72 hours, otherwise, you're charged $45 pp. M E N U Modern American Bistro with global influences specifically French, Italian, and Japanese. A la carte menu or family style menu for $99 pp. Beer, wine, and sake available. 6% SF mandate. Use the inKind App for cost savings. F O O D * Oysters (1/2 dozen-$28) The Hog Island Oysters were fresh, clean and mildly briny. Served with a punchy torpedo onion and wabansia mignonette. * Hokkaido Scallop Crudo w/ Korean chili aioli, pomelo, avocado, yuzu ($23.35): https://tinyurl.com/mv6avnkr Silky soft, tender raw scallops enhanced by the citrusy spice of the accoutrements. Solid and refreshing. * Country Pâté Bites w/ banana bread, grain mustard, fig jam (4 pc-$17.35): https://tinyurl.com/4m2duz4h Sounded interesting but didn't hit. The pâté de campagne and banana bread were dense, and the sweet banana flavor clashed with the rich meat flavor. * South Pacific Blue Prawns w/ red boat salsa verde (4 pc-$26.35): https://tinyurl.com/andvbx2t Redeeming the pâté bites, the prawns were perfectly cooked with a snappy bite. The red boat nước mắm (fish sauce) added a gentle funk and natural sweetness to the tangy salsa verde. Wish there was toast to sop up the extra sauce. * Black Cod w/ lonely mountain cranberry beans, garlic spinach, red miso butter ($43.35): https://tinyurl.com/sfdcm2bd Our fav entrée, the crispy skinned cod was incredibly soft, buttery, and easily flaked. The tender beans soaked up the umami-rich red butter miso with the spinach rounding it out. * 16 oz Prime Creekstone Ranch NY Strip w/ black trumpet mushrooms, roasted shallot bordelaise ($59.35): https://tinyurl.com/nz34s6u3 - Request medium rare Perfectly medium rare and tender but even for someone who prefers lightly salted food, the steak was underseasoned with not enough bordelaise to really do the heavy lifting. * Heritage Pork Chop w/ Japanese yam, broccoli, mandarin, maple-mustard, sesame ($49.35): https://tinyurl.com/3vw2z8c5 - Request medium Great presentation but it was a miss - pork chop was overdone (verging well), dry, and woefully underseasoned. * Handmade Taleggio Tortelloni w/ foraged hedgehog mushrooms, truffle butter ($35.35): https://tinyurl.com/ycwujkxr Bursting with rich, aromatic earthy flavor but sadly, the pasta dough was too thick which led to a tough, undercooked bite. * Pork Belly Sizzling Rice w/ spring onion, bok choy ($29.35) + $5 fried farm egg: https://tinyurl.com/yc5yhja2 Surprisingly this was one of our fav dishes. Full of crispy, golden brown rice with juicy pork belly morsels. Excellent texture with rich, savory-sweet, slightly smoky flavor. Like an elevated lap mei bo zai fan, a nostalgic Chinese claypot rice with preserved pork belly. * Dubai Chocolate Sundae w/ pistachio butter, strawberry, kataifi ($18.35): https://tinyurl.com/3kx888p3 As a Dubai Chocolate lover, this was very underwhelming - vanilla soft serve topped with a light drizzle of chocolate and pistachio cream, sprinkled with toasted shredded phyllo dough. For $18, the quintessential Dubai chocolate ingredients should be raining. * Banana Chocolate Bread Pudding w/ butterscotch, soft serve ($15.35): https://tinyurl.com/becxz44v We were expecting a warm, custardy dessert not two slices of dense banana bread. * Bosc Pear Hand Pies w/ salted caramel, soft serve ($15.35): https://tinyurl.com/4tb333ry Saving the best for the last! The warm, spiced pear pie with a crispy, flaky pastry shell paired with cold, creamy vanilla sot serve created a deliciously satisfying texture and temperature contrasts. Most importantly, not too sweet. S E R V I C E Our server was friendly and polite but spread too thin. Food service was on-point, and we never had to wait long for the next course to arrive. A M B I A N C E Love that they kept the same vibes as Marlena/Foliage with a cozy, sophisticated dining room with an open kitchen and moody accent lighting. Also loved the restrooms with awesome 90s R&B playing (different music in the dining area). Didn't love that the tables were hella close to each other and it was too loud to hold a convo. What made things worse is we were seated behind the soft serve machine which made a constant buzzing noise. P A R K I N G Difficult street parking. Prepare to hike up hills. Overall, the meal was a mixed bag (similar to my experience at 3rd cousin). BUT, def worth trying for yourself if you don't want to trek to other parts of the city for a chef-y meal. 3.5 stars rounded up for a small local business.

We decided to try Precita Social after seeing it pop up as a Valentine's Day special on Tock. $129pp is reasonable generally for a SF tasting menu, so we were eager to try a brand new restaurant from the chef of 3rd Cousin. At the price, we were a little let down. The crudo was good and I love the focus on fresh, local produce. The dubai chocolate sundae was excellent - I especially love the soft serve which had such a pleasantly refreshing dairy flavor. I would come back and just order dessert to eat this again! But, other dishes fell flat for me. The riff on miso black cod was ok. The salad was refreshing, but the boquerones were so overpowering and fishy. I love tinned anchovies straight from the can, but these were weirdly fishy (granted it was my first ever boquerones outside of Valencia). The clay pot was tasty, but lacking in crispy rice since it was mixed immediately at the table. Weirdly though, the claypot and my partner's soup were the only hot food we had that evening. The crudo and salad was understandably cold, but the cod and steak were just barely warm. I thought the temperature was strange considering that the pace of the meal was really great. Although, we had one of the earliest seatings so maybe it had been sitting around for a while. The hospitality is good though, they were apologetic for a credit charge error. They also made us feel welcome and I was happy to see Chef Lutes poking around and welcoming every table. Overall, I won't completely write off Precita Social - I'm excited to see the improvements as the restaurant gets a more solid footing.

Came here for dinner and was super packed during vday week but got seated early for the resy that I had. The place is dimly lit offering pretty good ambiance however it is a bit loud in there since the place is quite cozy. We were greeted pretty promptly and server was pretty good at explaining different things on the menu. Sister restaurant to 3rd cousin so had good expectations that the food would be good as well. Ordered 5 dishes and they came out pretty timely. Scallop crudo: (4/5) scallop was super fresh , 2 sauces it came with paired really well. Flowers were a bit bitter however Oysters: (5/5) plump oysters were fresh and had a sweet finish to them, def could pile down many of these Pumpkin bisque: (4/5) not exactly the taste I had in mind but grew on me. Was expecting a different taste but this actually tasted like a liquid burrito interestingly Black cod: (4/5) nicely charred on the skin side and flaky on inside. Fish was still moist and flaked apart easily with a fork Mushroom sizzling rice: (6/5) the best thing eaten that night. Could've eaten pots and pots of this. Rice was super fragrant and full of umami. The sizzle pot chars the rice adding texture and a nice bite. Would comeback just for this alone

When I came in, I was a bit disappointed in the service. They asked me to pull up my reservation when they could check for my reservation on their system. Despite the snaffu in the beginner, I actually came here for SF restaurant week and the food was really good. We tried the squash bisque and hamachi crudo. Both were good. The steak and the cod was fantastic too. Lastly the bread pudding was better than the shaved ice.

Had the BEST meal here with their special $99 course offered for a book club. Favorites were the clay rice pot and desserts (kiwi shaved ice and strawberry hazelnut ice cream sundae) Beautiful restaurant and vibes in Bernal Heights! Would love to come back again.

Solid choice for a date night with a delicious menu served by a friendly staff. Pork chop was juicy and tender - easily the best I've had. And tbh, I'm not even a pork chop fan. We also got the steak which was well cooked with crispy shoestring fries and we enjoyed the apps. Leftovers are still good the next day. Trendy vibes and oh my, the bathroom is so cute with its colorful wallpaper.

Service is amazing at this spot! Located in Bernal Heights, it's a nice to see a new addition to the neighborhood. We were helped by Jarod who was so kind and helpful explaining the dishes. The restaurant is simple and cozy . I appreciated the local photographs on the walls as they highlight local photographers. We started with some sake. They have sake, beer and wine options along with non alcoholic options. We tried the stracciatella, Parker house rolls to start. Both were amazing! I make Parker house rolls for Christmas usually and these were amazing. So fluffy and buttery. The stracciatella was fresh with beets and persimmon. Wow! We shared the mushroom sizzling rice and the pork chop. I think the pork chop could have been warmer (ours felt at room temp and wasn't hot) and would be okay with the mandarin oranges since they didn't add too much to the dish, but the pork was cooked very well and was super flavorful! I mention this about the oranges since they were still raw and little. The sizzling rice was comforting and warm. It was rich with flavor. I'd probably get the egg and another protein rich dish. We ended with the Dubai sundae. This hit the spot. It could do with a bit more chocolate. It came with pistachios and fresh strawberries. It was fresh as well. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. The service was exceptional and we enjoyed our bites. The staff looked happy and overall, we would definitely be back. It was very full at around 7pm. Loved how they staggered meals at a good pace. Bathroom was clean!

We spent a Friday night at Piecita Social in San Francisco, and was totally amazed by the food quality here. The highlights: Hand Roll Uni & Caviar: The absolute best way to start our dinner. It's loaded with sushi rice, Maine lobster and celery. Caviar really does gave us a nice kick, and paired with uni makes it feel super creamy Heritage Pork Chop: Probably the star of the night. It came out a tiny bit undercooked (is it safe to eat medium rare pork ??), but honestly, the flavor was so good I didn't even care. The combination of maple-mustard and sesame sauce is god-made Wild Mushroom Sizzling Rice: Don't know why we ordered a vegetarian dish because we're meat lovers and we never order anything without meat, but I just got a tiny bit of curiosity when I saw they poured dashi broth over the crunchy rice on Tiktok and immediately wanted to try! Just know that it was the best decision, the mushrooms, the squash, and rice... they belong to each other. And definitely add an egg (not just for protein) but I kinda like it cause I felt like I'm eating bibimbap Black Cod: Girl was officially obsessed with the miso butter here. It perfectly glazed the fish, and even the sautéed spinach on the side was seasoned perfectly Hand-Rolled Tonnarelli: This was the only real letdown. I had high hopes, but it was just... salty. I couldn't taste the pasta or the sauce because of it. Thank god we'd already eaten the other dishes or it might've killed the vibe. Overall: Great spot for a Friday in the city. Still scared of getting parasites from eating undercooked pork, but I'm literally Viet and I've grown up eating nem chua so should be fine. Will keep you posted if I get diarrhea

Amazing dining experience! I loved all of their food! The ingredients are fresh and picked out by the chef. The attention to detail is amazing and flavors are so good! Super cute area with decent parking!

It's the only reason I come to 7 Mile House during Asian History Month that aims for Filipino fun. My specialty drink: Ube Colada (non-alcoholic). I want to try the Lambanóg, but it's few years late and I wouldn't mind since I prefer any drink that's zero proof. This creamy purple smoothie is so refreshing, I wouldn't mind getting a brain freeze. Main course? Actually, I take something out of the lunch menu, which is Beyond Burger; pickles at the top, lettuce, tomato, and cheese; old school American style with a plant based patty! I eat the fries first since they're fresh and chewy. Wish I stick around for an appetizer or a salad; but given that there's several people dining indoors while few of us outdoors, I'll have to pass. Before I walk a couple of blocks toward 7 Mile House, I noticed the gas prices for both gas stations are just as high as near my neighborhood. A Neighborhood Anchor in San Francisco's Comeback At the…read moreintersection of Visitacion Valley and Little Hollywood in San Francisco, Aroma Buena Café and Kitchen capture the spirit of neighborhood resilience. A pleasure of San Francisco's "comeback" are the great new businesses opening around town. Aroma Buena Kitchen in Visitacion Valley/Little Hollywood is one of those wonderful new additions to the city, and all the better knowing how it's come to be. The location formerly housed the Piccolo Pete deli, which in its prime was a neighborhood institution. When Candlestick Park was around, and the Schlage Lock factory was down the street, Piccolo Pete did big business with big sandwiches ready for tailgating and hearty lunches. But with the Giants leaving the 'stick, followed by the 49ers, and the lock factory closed, the core business was gone. The deli closed in 2016, and the building sat vacant except for a small coffee business on the corner. But what about that coffee business? A few years ago Aroma Buena opened in the tiny space at the corner of Bayshore and Tunnel Road. Though there was just enough space for a counter and a couple of tables, the place really took off, particularly for breakfast take-out. The menu had the standard breakfast and lunch staples, but many with Latin influences reflecting the woman-owned "Hispano World Cuisine" catering business behind the venture. Food was delicious, service was friendly, and prices were decent. It quickly became a neighborhood spot with a loyal clientele. Fast forward to last year, and Aroma Buena was ready to expand into the rest of the building. This allowed the catering business to move onto the premises and a new counter-service sit-down restaurant to open up. The front of the building, long neglected after the deli closed, was transformed by a colorful mural that stretched the entire length of the façade. The interior was completely rebuilt, fresh and bright. The original café at the corner is now known as "Aroma Buena Café," and the new restaurant is "Aroma Buena Kitchen." The two complement each other, with the café focused on breakfast and lunch, and the kitchen focused on sit-down lunch and weekend brunch. Both offer a relaxed, welcoming spot for breakfast and lunch, with a local, community-focused vibe. The café serves up a range of fresh classics with a Latin-inspired twist. Their menu includes hearty breakfast burritos (like the popular chorizo and bacon-egg varieties), savory sandwiches (such as the chicken margherita and oven-roasted turkey), healthy wraps, and tasty salads. In keeping with its "Hispano World Cuisine" roots, the menu blends flavors from Spain, Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond. The flavors are subtle but present, suggesting a kitchen that understands flavor as heritage rather than garnish. The setup of both the café and kitchen is laid-back and friendly. In both you order at the counter, and your food is brought out to you by the friendly staff. In a nutshell, Aroma Buena Café and Kitchen is a hidden gem in one of San Francisco's less well-known neighborhoods. Each offers a comfortable place with flavorful breakfast and lunch options grounded in Latin-inspired cuisine. She had heard about this place from a client that she had worked with a couple weeks ago. The place had a really cool vibe to it; it's like you're stepping into a more intimate, Cracker Barrel. We were seated by the front of house pretty quickly. The space could hold quite a few people, there is a bar area and outside seating. We sat in the back by the kitchen. When we got there, we ordered a couple drinks and a lot of food. I had the okey-dokey artichokey and my partner had the respect your elders drink; both were strong and tasty. It went well with our appetizers of fried okra and fried calamari. I really enjoyed the jalapeño aïoli that came with the okra so much that I started dipping the calamari in it. The calamari coating on the outside was a lot heavier than what I was used to, but it was still really tasty. For our main entrées, I got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens and my partner got the porch burger with fries. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly. It wasn't dry. It was juicy and I really liked putting their homemade hot sauce on the chicken and greens. The habanero hot sauce was really spicy, but I liked how sweet it was. My partner's burger was cooked perfectly and it was a big portion. I definitely recommend this place to someone who is bold enough to go on a date and still eat with their hands. Somehow, this was elevated southern food, which could be shown by the prices, but I think it's worth it once in a while.

I strongly recommend this for having your next party or team building or just a night out in your own event space . The fact that the 97 year old owner, Luisa, was there to greet us was an added bonus! Our family of 3 had the following: 1) Garlic Bread to share - tasty 2) Meatballs - delicious (we appreciated the fact they are not made with cheese, which made them accessible for my cheese-free husband) 3) Shrimp fettuccine- my husband enjoyed this 4) Gnocchi in vodka sauce - amazing! 5) Paparadelle -excellent We enjoyed our glasses of wine (though were a bit surprised they didn't have house wine by the glass on the menu) as well. The staff was friendly and attentive, though the service was a bit slower than we would like at times. The space is spacious and welcoming. Overall, we had a fantastic meal here and look forward to returning!

Next time I will ask them to leave out the anchovies or pick a different salad. otherwise the salad was quite good. Spaghetti carbonara: 3.5/5. A solid version of this dish, but not exceptional. Great pasta, nice texture, but the meat could have stood out better. It sort of hid in the shadows. Gnocchi: 4.5/5. Since I make my own gnocchi this is a very high rating from me. Excellent texture and taste for this gnocchi and the vodka sauce complemented it really well. I would definitely have this again.
