I came here a while back and I had a great experience. Candy and Teresa, the girls at the front desk we're really helpful. The doctors are very good and very knowledgeable. I asked for special frames that they didn't carry and they didn't have at the store and they handled it without any issue. Very fast delivery and I get so many compliments on them! I usually buy new frames every year and they always find a way to accommodate my needs as well as my mother who frequents the shop as well. I tend to be a little bit on the picky side and I like to try out new lens ar coatings and they have easily switched out the lens' without any of the problems other shops have given me in the past. Ultimately I feel like my satisfaction comes first when I visit this place and I really do appreciate that and it's what keeps me coming back year after year. read more

Everyone here was super friendly! I had an eye exam, which ended up being a little less than $50 :) Plus they have an amazing collection of glasses. Read and was impressed by the reviews and ratings. Seemed a lot more interesting to check out Precision Vision Optometry than a LensCrafters. PLUS P.V.O. was open on Sunday, the day I happened to decide to get my eyes checked for the first time since 2003. An impending driver's license test at the DMV was the impetus for getting my vision checked. I walked into the empty showroom and was greeted by three sales people who happily helped me fill out paperwork to be seen by Dr. Ho. Dr. Ho assessed my vision with what appeared to a layman to be sophisticated pieces of equipment that did an initial evaluation of my vision, tested eye pressure, peripheral vision, and took a picture of the inside of my eyeball. After this quick 5 minute / 4 machine exam, we went to the room I was expecting to see which was a chair, an eye chart, and one of those machines where the optometrist says "1 or 2... 2 or 1... "2 or 3... 3 or 2..." Turns out my eyes are healthy, I don't need lenses and I'll easily pass the eye exam at the DMV. I had a lot of questions about my eyes because my left eye is extremely dominant and Dr. Ho patiently and reassuredly addressed my questions. Encourage people to try out Precision Vision Optometry. As far as I can tell, Precision Vision Optometry is not a chain... big PLUS to me. read more

:oD I've been to optometries where the environment is stuffy and it feels like a run down doctor's office. I find that extremely intimidating because you walk in with the thought that after your exam you'll be given verdict which is followed by a list of what you can do to "better your health" and it is rather daunting. I love that at Precision Vision, everything is clean, bright, and rather happy. :) The lighting and color of the space make it really warm and inviting. Also, who can ignore the red and orange fuzzy spinny chairs! I came in for my eye exam after about a 4 year hiatus. My eyes are so terrible that everyone reprimands me. From my old optometrist to my parents. I always feel backed up into a wall when it came time for a yearly check up cause I didn't want to be reminded of the fact that I'm practically blind. Luckily, Dr. Imamoto came to the rescue. She started with a joke she heard from a comedian about my name, and the exam happened so quickly I couldn't believe it was done. Also, she told me that my eyes aren't ridiculously terrible, so it was a nice ego boost for me to know that things can ultimately be worse! I was really impressed because in the past I was only subject to 2 "pre-exams" before the actual exam. You have the standard look straight ahead until the picture focuses and the one that blows air into your eye. This time I had one where you click a button when you see movement on the screen and one that takes a picture. New technology and techniques always boggles my mind. I got really giddy and felt like I was unwrapping presents! Now onto frame selection. My face is long and wide, so it's really hard to find something fitting. Luckily, Amy has been there through the ups and downs of finding me a frame. I seriously feel as if i've gone through every single one of them, and we finally decided upon one. I was really impressed because when I was about ready to give up, she would still be persistent and keep trying to find the "perfect frames". I was really glad that she was there to guide me through the whole process and that there wasn't a shady person trying to haggle you . Just a little heads up about pricing because I thought it would be ridiculously expensive for some reason. The exam itself is $49 without insurance. Frames and lenses vary according to brand and whatever options you want added. This was such a wonderful experience that I almost feel at home and want to go back there with some boba and hang out. This year I tried my friends office because she insured me I would get great frames at an affordable cost. Huge mistake. The other office had a limited display of frames and I was not impressed. Great service & I felt very safe at my appt. They take your temperature upon entering. They wiped down all the machines in front of me before putting my chin & forehead on them. Exam was very thorough & she was happy to answer any questions that I had. They have a good selection of glasses. After trying on glasses they put them in a pile to be sanitized. I LOVE this place. I have been going for several years once a year for a check up and new pair of glasses. They have a HUGE selection at reasonable prices, they will help you choose if you want but are not pushy about it, just very helpful. Went in yesterday and they had so many options! sure enough i used my insurance to purchase my glasses there. The workers were so nice and very helpful. I am giving 5 stars to Dr.Lee for being so accommodating, pleasant and patient to my grumpy 4-year old son who's really very uncooperative from the start because he's scared of anything that eye doctors will do, starting from the initial test up to the main eye exam, but Dr. Lee made him calmer and more comfortable till the very end. I heart my optometrist and staff at Precision. I have had glasses/contacts for 20 years, so I have been to multiple optometry places. I think the service here is top notch. When you walk in, all the staff will greet you. I appreciate that the staff has a lot of patience and they are very professional. I am an inquisitive person, so I tend to ask a lot of questions. And I am picky and indecisive when it comes to selecting frames for my glasses. Yet, the staff are very accommodating and friendly and more than willing to always help me. I really appreciate that they are understanding. I bought a year's supply of contacts last year and only used 2 months worth and find that the contacts irritate me. Last year, I didn't have time to stop by and return them. Just recently, I came in and told them my situation. They were more than happy to help me find different contacts that fit me better and I was able to do an exchange by returning the unopened boxes of contacts from last year. As the new contacts I selected were cheaper than the ones from last year, they refunded me the difference. I also like this place because they have lot of frames to choose from. I've been going here for awhile but I don't think I'll be returning after this. Their receptionists are terrible. I called to get a new pair of contact lenses (washed it down the drain on accident) and the receptionist was really unhelpful. My prescription is high so I'm basically blind without my RGB contacts so I asked if she could provide me with a temp pair of soft lenses while I wait for my new ones to arrive and she gave me such a hard time. She said they don't do that and they don't have my specific prescription because it's so high, but when I told her they've done it for me in the past...she puts me on hold... and magically...they had a temp pair for me...but she had to add that this was a ONE TIME courtesy. You know my prescription is high so why are you giving me a hard time about providing me with something that'll help me see for a little bit? You are in the business of VISION, no? Also turns out that they don't take my new insurance, but I'm so blind without my contacts that I need them asap so I opt to just stay with who I trust and just pay out of pocket. She says it'll take a week and I ask her if there's any way to expedite and she says no (fine, but I've been to several other optometrists that were able to get my lenses in 3-4 days). I call to check in a few days later and a NEW receptionist tells me it actually takes TWO weeks for my lenses to arrive. Wait what? So I ask her why this other staff member told me 1 week and all she could say was...sorry it takes 2 weeks. Well in that case why the heck did I pay out of pocket to wait 2 weeks to get my lenses when I could have gone somewhere else that probably does take my insurance and get my lenses in less than 2 weeks for half the price? And now I'm stuck waiting for these lenses to arrive because I already paid for them. Never coming back here again. Their optometrists are nice, but their receptionists need to be trained better. read more

I feel as though an update is necessary and well-deserved because PVO contacted me about my unsatisfactory review and made it a goal of their's to make amends and get my prescription right. I went in last week and was again examined by Dr. Imamoto and told my glasses could be ready as early as an hour but due to prior obligations, I had to pick it up the next day. Since I didn't have my contacts with me, they graciously gave me one day Acuvue contacts to wear. Once I picked up my glasses the next day, I immediately saw a big difference and definitely left a happy gal. Nearly one week later, the headaches are gone and I can finally see well! Even though my initial experiences didn't go as well as expected, I referred PVO to one of my friends who lived nearby and was looking for a new optometrist. I have always been very happy with Precision Vision Optometry. I've been going here since I was a little girl and got my very first pair of glasses I believe in fourth or fifth grade. Now in college with all the studying I have been doing I have been noticing a declination in my eyesight. I decided it was time for a check up and new pair of glasses. The staff was very helpful in accommodating an appointment asap, as I only have very short breaks for school. As soon as I came in they had me fill out some paperwork and within a few minutes I was taken back for the portion with all of the machines. The lady managing them was very professional and explained to me each machine before having me start. I do appreciate the doctor for letting me ask questions and take pictures, as the eye isn't commonly focused on in nursing school, I found it very interesting. She even pointed out to me some anatomy of my eye. The staff helped me pick out the right pair of glasses. They have a very wide range to select from. They helped me pick out a good pair fast because my eyes were dilated and I only had a short window before my vision became blurry. I'd like to thank them for helping me out because I was very particular with which style of glasses I'd want. They worked hard to bring me similar pairs and different pairs that I'd might be interested in based on what I had expressed. After that I paid, left, a week later received a call that my glasses were in and now I have my glasses. Most importantly, I'm not straining my eyes while I'm reading. My husband and I have being going to our regular optometrist for many years. My husband needs a pair of new sun glasses, however due to the limited selection at my regular doctor's office so we decided to try Precision Vision Optometry. The staff there were very friendly, Candy help us, she doesn't mind to let us to try all sun glasses until we found one pair that we like the best. This place has huge selection of frames available to try on the spot is quite unique and the price also reasonable. Without appointment we were able to see Dr. Lo right away. Dr. Lo performed comprehensive exam, she is knowledgeable and friendly. According to her exam my husband has dry eyes. She gave him samples for him to try. She is very professional and I would go to her when it is time for my annual exam. Another thing impressed me was they honor their price. I am VERY disappointed in them, I walked in after being stuck in traffic for well over an hour and was 10 minutes late so I missed the walk in deadline (effin traffic!!) and you would think these people would have a heart and say, ok I'll take you in.. Nope! Even after stressing the fact that I have been a customer for YEARS and the fact that I drove from so far! I think its safe to say these people can give two " " about their customers.. These guys are shady. I had lasik recently and did not need an eye exam, just sunglasses. I have frame benefits I can use this year and came here inquiring if I can use them. I told them my situation and they told me I had to first get an eye exam then order prescription lenses for my perfect 20/20 vision and only then could I use my frame benefits on sunglasses. Not only did they try to get me to spend more money on copays and milk my insurance, they also placed a hold on my insurance benefits. I had to go through the hassle calling my insurer and get the hold cleared. read more

I would give a zero if there was an option for that. Just had an evaluation for contacts a few months ago. Had experience with a different brand of contacts that I liked and just wanted to order some in that specific brand. Four more months then I would've gotten my yearly exam again. The optometrist during that evaluation said these contacts would be more comfortable. So I tried the contacts but sad to say, it wasn't. The receptionist says you need another evaluation for that brand of contacts. Even though the prescription is the same, pretty ridiculous. I told the practice that you guys are just stingy for every dollar, it's ridiculous. It would be only a few months before I would've gone for my next exam and they could charge my insurance again. I would never go back they've lost a customer. The doctors are nice, but the receptionists sucks. read more

I have been going to this place since they open more than 10 years ago with Dr Chang still overseeing it. My, how it changed! I loved bringing my whole family here before, when Greta and Tina were still there. Very professional and helpful,friendly And love helping customers. But the new Doctors in particular Dr Mitchell and most of the helpers are very "stock up" and useless. I hope the owners can conduct surveys and see the problem. Compared to before when there where few helpers, Customer service was warmer and more effective!!! There are many choices, explore them before making mistake with this one. Best optometry office I've visited in years. Everyone is really nice. It's easy to schedule appointments and convenient that they are open 7 days a week. Dr. Lo really worked with me to find the right contact lens brand that was both comfortable and clear since I have dry eyes and astigmatism. My last dr told me I just had to deal with the not so clear vision bc of my dry eyes. But here I was able to find the perfect lens. They also have a huge selection of frames and I'm going this week to order glasses as well. read more

Unbelievable service! I walked in and showed Jessica and Shaeli my warped and pretty uneven reading glass which I accidentally exposed to a certain glue and really made my frame very uncomfortable.
