I have been going to Precision since 2023 and usually had no problems when Warren was there. Last week I took my vehicle for P1701 code which my car would stop while idle. Zach gave me an estimate and said he'd have my car fixed. 1356.00 dollars later car still doing same thing! I take the car back and now Zach wants me to pay ANOTHER $233 to fix what I originally brought the car in there for! Check engine light came BACK ON THE VERY NEXT DAY! I'm tired of being taken advantage of because I'm a female and a senior. Where do he think I have money like that then to top it off my car stayed there overnight and got infested with these bugs somehow costing me more money. this place is terrible I took my dodge charger there for a oil change. my car wasn't leaking oil when I brought it there. when they finished my oil change. the next day I noticed oil spots on my carport. I took it back the same guy told me my oil housing was cracked. the technician that did my oil change. tightened my oil filter that goes into the oil housing too tight and cracked the oil housing.he knew what he had done. didn't even step up and own up to his mistake. instead, let it go on as far as me leaving and getting screwed over. when I told them that I never had an oil leak issue. I been coming to this place for a while for oil changes. never had to come back for any leaks. until that time. they failed to rectify the problem. the manager tried to blaming it on me. I tired to call the head owner. him and the manager are acquaintances somehow. so they refused to fix the problem they caused and told me I have to pay them to get it replaced. so I had to pay someone else to replace my oil housing. never come to this place. they are bad mechanics and racist crooks. read more

ASK FOR WARREN! Coolest mechanic you'll meet. He is very knowledgeable and communicated with me throughout the entire process. There was not one moment where I did not know what was going on with my car. For me for me personally, that is extremely important! I trust his opinion and his expertise. I appreciate his effort into making sure I made it back on the road quick and safe. I dropped my car off on Wednesday and it was done Thursday afternoon. I've been coming here regularly for my oil changes since I bought my car. I've never had a problem . They always go back and make sure my tire pressure is right and update me on the status of my air filter in my car and everything. Sometimes you can't get an appt and it's first come first serve. I recommend getting up first thing . The longest t I've ever had to wait is an hour. I specifically go to the Jonesboro rd location in forest park. ALSO go on their website prior to arriving or while you wait and see if they have any discounts or coupons off the service you're getting. I usually always get 15 off my full synthetic oil change. So I go from a ticket of 60 dollars to about 40/45. Every penny counts so I would tell anyone to save coins were you can. There's no temp checks or mask requirements or anything posted around the building but it's also an auto shop. So do with that information as you will. If you're waiting on the lobby have a mask. Give them your telephone number and it'll save your cars info if you plan on coming here regularly . Also I believe of you sign up via email you get coupons in the mail.. I do. read more

The one on Jonesboro rd Mcdonough ga is horrible. I brought two different vehicles up there and they still manage to not have me in the system, that's just one. Two they give me an oil change on a 2015 Mazda 6 sport. Before I can pull out the parking lot my engine light comes on. I turn around tell the manager and she reply's " Your engine light was already on". Really at 33,000 miles? I understand it's mechanical issues but not yet!!! So then she say she can plug it up and tell me the code an says it's a vacuum leak. So in the middle of the manger (Ashton pater) tell me my code another customer from a Saturday visit is complaining about his check engine light as well on a 2015 genesis. If your smart enough to read this follow on. I have a been a loyal customer for years now possibly no more. They recently changed management a few months and its just god awful. Longer wait times then normal after calling that is reasonable due to rush hour but the service.... I took my car here for a oil change I ended up leaking oil when a few days later I took it to a family reliable mechanic. What ticks me off is I now have a $600 bill for a oil leak which was caused by the mechanic doing a simple oil change... I went in for an oil change in addition to changing my air filter and cabin filter. I was told $ 26.90 for the oil change and 40$ for both filters. After completion Tisa at least that what she says her name was stated the total was $89.19. Even my ten year old could tell you that math doesn't add up. After looking at my receipt I saw she double charged me for labor. I showed her and after ten minutes of banter she proceeds to provide me a cash refund and then walks out slamming the shop door. I then asked her why are you upset simply because I caught an error and why did you slam the door? She said you have to close that door hard, despite having gone in and out several times and not slamming it on any other occasion. The absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered! I took my car in for an oil change still my car started to smoke then took it back he says I had an oil leak so took it to my other repair man comes to find out they had put no oil in my car but Jake claims that it had leaked all out so he says he will fix leak him and Clayton I took it back for cam shaft sensor and crankshaft sensor which he said one will be 475 I said okay then I get a call saying that my timing chain done jumped out on someone like wtf oh no I wish I wouldn't have took my car in I have so many problems now to I can't even drive the car so 3 days after that the engine light came on but before I could get my vehicle back he says its gonna be 1211.75 just to get my car back like3 what it's not my fault but these folks just wants money and on my receipt they did not repair neither one of those they only got me down for a timing chain which I no they did not touch they just did something till it's just inoperable to drive just to get my money no good precision tune please don't take your car up to them please don't. read more

Was a loyal customer but I kept getting charged under the table for the same procedure. EVERY TIME they would tell me I needed an engine flush for only going 300 miles or less over my scheduled oil change. I caught on to the scam and won't be bringing my car back ever. I went to another Precision and they were right to the point and didn't try to get me for anything extra. This place has been downhill for a while now. !!! Please read!!! My wife and i took our van to precision to get the cv axle replaced about a month ago. We were greeted very friendly, and the technician sound pretty knowledgeable about the car problem, so i thought. We waited for about 2 hours in the waiting area while the technician worked on our van. Then, the technician came in the waiting area and said " i got you folks all fixed up and ready to go" so, i grabbed the keys and rushed off to get the kids from school, since it was about that time. Upon arriving at the school, i turned the wheel to enter into the school parking lot and the van made a loud noise and just completely stop working, almost causing a very horrible accident. We contacted the shop and they told us they would tow the van back to the shop, but we had to wait until the morning. They got it back to their shop and so called " fixed it again" but we ran into the same problem. They told us the transmission was causing the problem and that it needed to be replaced. We called almost every shop around to see if this is true or not, and got the same feed back from everyone of them saying the same thing "no that's not cause the cv axle to break, more than likely its your mounts. I ask them to change the mounts and then try the cv axlen again, they said they would, but when we got the van back, it did the same thing again but this time the kids were in the car. Thank God we safely made it to the side of the rode. We took it to shop down the rode and they fixed the mounts and now the van drives great!!! But, the mechanic told us that the mounts hadn't been changed in years. Your family might not be as lucky to dodge those accidents, so please beware. read more

Total Scam, Unsafe! They do more damage to you car! NEVER EVER USE THIS PLACE!!! So here is my story: My daughter's 2013 VW Beetle's clutch when bad on highway, AAA towed it to this place, I spoke with Matt the manager, who was certainly nice enough, and i truly appreciate his kindness to my daugher in a time of stress. I asked him if he was comfortable fixing this car. He told me that "We fix VW's, BMW, Mercedes all the time" Well this place had the car for almost 3 weeks, i had set a specific up a date to pick it up since i had to fly in from Philadelphia- Yes, Phila to Atlanta. Well I get there the day of pick up, Matt and the car are nowhere to be found, The girl at the front desk called Mat on his cell, he said he would be back in a half hour, and had to have VW do some kind of calibration on the steering. Well, 5-1/2 hours later-NO Exaggeration! - he showed up with the car. I was not the only one waiting for over hours. Matt then told me that the steering was still stiff, and "after 100 miles it would loosen up and re-calibrate" That was a total lie. I drove the car from Atlanta to Savannah, and back to Philadelphia, with almost no steering. This cost me $2100.00! When i got back to Phil, i immediately took it to the VW dealer, where they found so many missing parts and shoddy workmanship, they had to first take a video of all the missing parts and problems, not to mention a torn boot that was spraying grease all under the car. First impression Matt was confident. He went over with me step by step of the cost and reduced saving me $200.00. There were no hidden cost. I realized that I'm a little late with this review but I want to take the time out to let the people know that I realized although they have great reviews this one isn't one of them I had taken my car to precision tune on Jonesboro Road for an oil change they took them awhile for me to get my car back when I received my car it was sitting outside with several other peoples cars with the key in them now the neighborhood isn't stolen and I wouldn't leave anyone's keys in there but this isn't about my keys this is about how they put the screw back in my car on my oil pan stripped the screw and did not tell me I had to go to Florida I've driven my car to Florida with oil leaking out of my pan I immediately called Precision Tune and spoke with a gentleman there and explained that my car was knocking and I had taken it to a place in Tallahassee Florida which told me that my screw was stripped and they should have told me about that I wouldn't have driven my car to Tallahassee Florida had I know they then in turn told me there's nothing they can do about that it is very disheartening to me that you would allow your customers to ruin their car while you make megabucks out of other folks pockets I will never ever recommend or bring my car back to that company again thank you Donnell Cross read more

Prior to new management, the old crew was very knowledgable with anything dealing with a car. Apparently, the place is under new management and I wouldn't recommend this place to my WORST enemy ! I called ahead of time and asked if my driver's front wheel bearing could be replaced. I was told that they could accommodate and to call ahead of time so that the press is available at the shop. I called and made an appointment. I get there and of course with my own bearing from autozone, no presser. I waited FIVE hours and then the shop decided to send one of their men out to another location to have it pressed. I was given a 10% discount bringing my total to 340. I drove away and ran errands and approximately an hour later my car starts making this loud squeaking noise that sounds like my car is about to fall apart. I take my car back to the location ON THE SAME DAY, sign back in to be told that it is my struts. I drive off thinking that I need new struts. I go and get a second opinion and I am told that it is not my struts and there is something wrong with the wheel bearing as the wheel bearing noise came back on top of the loud squeaking noise. I take the car back the next week (I went out of town) and the mechanic (Matt.. he's terrible) tells me that he put oil on the wheel and that the noise has went away. He tells me that he will be off the next two days and if something else is wrong to bring it back on Monday. (this was a thursday). I take my car back on Monday because its the same noise. I explain to him that my car was not making this obnoxious noise prior to me bringing it in and I have paid entirely TOO much money to not have my car fixed properly. Matt starts talking about how my the labor is not under warranty because I did not use their part and blah blah. Even though they would have purchased the part from the same location that I did. Matt tells me to bring my car in on Thursday as its his slow day. I drop my car off Thursday with intentions to pick it up that afternoon. I am told that he didn't get chance to even touch my car. Friday same thing. Saturday, it's still making the noise. I never picked my car up because I wanted it fixed. Now I have been without a car for three days. Monday no luck, so I rent a car for two days. Another $100. Tuesday afternoon I pick up my car with Matt saying that he is not the best mechanic and he is sorry for the inconvenience, and he doesn't know what's wrong with the car. Of course he doesn't offer my money back or at least half for the half assed job that he has done. I just got my car fixed and was told I had to get a new spindle because Matt apparently let metal rub against metal. I was shown my wheel bearing which was loaded with grease and was pressed in CROOKED. all of this could have been avoided had the genius saw that it pushed the bearing back into the spindle CROOKED! I really dislike that mechanics think that they can get over on females. read more
