I choose their Diamond service to make sure all my levels were ok for the long drive ahead. Today I started to change my oil and noticed a tool stuck in the panel next to the oil filter and it was the clip removing tool that removes the panel to access the oil filter. The panel clip was broken also. And the oil filter was a no name generic brand while I paid for a name brand filter included in the Diamond service. Auto Quick McDonough is quick to take your money and quick to preform shoddy work your vehicle and charge an outrageous price... Diamond oil change service $55.00 out the door for what? I have come learn that quick doesn't mean quality as the old adage goes... (their) haste makes (my) waste! = /

They figured it all out when I took my car in. My brake pads needed replaced, my spark plugs needed replaced, and my idol throttle needed cleaned. It all made perfect sense to me. I think we've found our go-to auto shop! I have never in my life been to a shop with such clearly…read moredefined and transparent services with prices that don't magically move or shift at checkout. You can calculate everything before you pay because it's all clearly listed in-store and on their website, and as long as you tell them exactly what you want done that price does not move. It's crazy to think that's some special characteristic, but unfortunately there are way too many scammers and liars saturating the repair market. Now this place is pretty small and boutique in nature. I like the emphasis on thoroughness. There are three carports and it's on a small lot, so don't expect to have your car worked on immediately unless you are getting a minimal service (oil change). We needed a lot done, so the husband arrived early @8AM for an appt he set online and told the young man working what we needed done (100k mile tune-up, brake replacement, and a few other things). He was very transparent about needing to order parts, so he told him to come back at 3PM. We arrived around 3:15PM and had another 15min wait, but our tech gave us some water while we waited in their small, minimalist lobby (three chairs and their checkout desk). I give extra points for being done around the time when he said he would. Shortly after we arrived he took us out to the bay, explained what he did and what we needed to keep an eye on. I really appreciated that he addressed what needed to be immediately fixed yet paused on what we could sit on for a bit. We were not sold any false sense of urgency and the entire experience was quite black and white. Perfect for us. Now, Dad's doesn't do super complex car repairs or body work, and they are very transparent about that. You can definitely give them a call beforehand to see if they can work on what you need. Their prices are quite fair, and the workmanship is of great quality. Don't expect any overly-friendly or outgoing mechanic though... but I honestly appreciate business-forward bluntness in this industry way more than any false pleasantries.
