It was extremely impressive to see Leo and his team work so well and efficiently together. Work was done to cut down a pine tree and to end weight reduce a live oak tree. They accomplished this "feat" inside of three hours! And, they left my property in pristine order. My neighbor was complimentary about the crew as well because they checked in with him to inform him the work was being done. Ellen L. read more

I recently had a group of trees growing up into utility lines and pole in front of my house, and also onto my roof. for the second time in several years, i called upon Precision Tree Care to trim the trees to safety and also esthetically. and for the second time, i was got a prompt quote that was best of several, a quick appointment, the crew arrived on time. not only did they cut and trim as they saw was needed, they also listened to my requests. they were extremely fast, picked up everything, cleared the area of debris and were gone in an amazingly short time. so have yet another reason to highly recommend precision tree service. j. di vecchio read more

Ryan, Leo, Patty, the whole team were so incredibly responsive, efficient and technically phenomenal. They went above and beyond with moving mine and my neighbors yard furniture, cleaning better than it was when they started and putting everything back and immaculate when they left. Also took care of some nuisance limbs against my house that weren't even included in the quote. I had been paying the same price for some crap service for years and am so incredibly grateful I finally found Precision Tree Care. read more

Chris & his Team we're out here this morning early. Very professional, very organized and very respectful to myself and my neighbors. Wow the actual work preformed was better than I could have imagined. Trees had not been dealt with for several decades, I would guess. When they were finished I could not get over the difference in light added inside our home and all the newly added blue sky to enjoy the sun outside. They were meticulous about clean up. Even cleaning my neighbors area as well. Not one plant on the ground was damaged. My yard looks so pretty now with this sculptural tree trunk to look upon and all the trees look so healthy now. Ryan the owner, took the time to come check on the work being done. I appreciated that too. I totally recommend this company, Ryan,Chris & the the rest of these acrobats! Very skilled. A shout out to Patty. She was the scheduler in the office. She kept us informed as the date drew near. Thank you all!! read more

Many thanks to Ryan, Leo, and the gang for their great work over the years. Not sure when we started using their services, but at least 10 + years ago, and they've always trimmed our trees to our exact specifications. I put in my requests while watching them work, ask their advice, etc., and end up with what we all feel is the best possible outcome. Truly tailored service, a real luxury and pleasure. Very rare, this level of personal service. read more

We hired Precision Tree Care after our on site free estimate with Ryan. He is knowledgeable and passionate about trees. Originally we wanted to remove a large cypress tree at our new home. Ryan noted the tree was healthy and offered that trimming the tree could enhance our yard. He was right!! We are so pleased with the results; the team lowered the height, raised the canopy and trimmed all the inner growth. The tree is now a beautiful part of the yard. read more

Ryan just came by and saved our kitty Binx from high up in our cypress tree! He had been there for days and we tried everything. Ryan came by, climbed the tree, and my cat was saved in less than ten minutes. On top of that, he did it free of charge. Just a nice guy doing a nice deed. Thank you!!! Precision Tree Care - Saving Binx from the cypress tree. Hero of the day! - Tree Services Near Me

Needed branches trimmed from three trees that were coming over our fence line. Ryan came out the day I called to take a look and give an estimate. Gave me a timeframe of when they could come out and they did. Great crew, worked fast and whole backyard was clean when they left. They even went to the owner of the other house just to make sure they were cool with the trees branches being trimmed. Great people to work with, highly recommend. read more

Arrived on time and trimmed trees evenly. The space was left cleaner than when they arrived, with no trace of trimmings. They also ensured no trimmings fell in to our neighbors yard, and were flexible enough to add an additional task on request. Price was reasonable. read more

The Italian Pine our Father brought home in a bucket and planted in the backyard in 1935 when he was a little boy, split in two yesterday and the right side came crashing down in the neighbor's yard. This tree was over 40 feet high and 8 feet round - a massive "Golden Gate Park" kinda tree, nestled in the middle of a backyard in Noe Valley. Precision Tree Care came to our rescue. We liked Ryan's style immediately and, despite our dreams of being able to salvage the remaining portion of the tree that was still standing, he was quick to warn us that it, too, was in danger of falling (and onto the house no less): "You don't need to hire us to take down this tree but I'm telling you, you need to hire someone to take it down and the sooner the better." While I appreciated his honesty, I truly appreciated that their bid was the most competitive (did I mention this was a HUGE ass tree?) They were there the very next morning at 7:30 a.m. and worked through 6 p.m. cutting, chipping and hauling away our much loved pine. Amid the many neighbors peering over their fences to lament over the loss of this beautiful tree (yet thrilled that their yards would now have full sun!), Precision Tree Care cleaned up every pine cone and pine needle in sight and left both our yard and our neighbor's yard clean. Without hesitation, I can HIGHLY recommend Precision Tree Care. They actually made a rather sad situation (this tree was part of our Father's legacy - we can still hear him telling us about planting it - and then bitching about the millions of pine needles all over the yard) as painless as possible. read more

Amazing customer service and expertise. Patty in the office was quick to respond, and Ryan came the same day I contacted him to provide an assessment of a diseased tree. It was an emergency situation, and I was so impressed by Ryan's knowledge and help. He mentioned that his dad ran the business for 40 years and he's been at it for over 20. If you want someone who knows the trees on the coast and how to care for them, and who goes out of his way to help, Ryan is your guy. read more

Precision Tree is awesome. I had 2 huge (100+ft) multi-trunk eucalyptus trees wrapped in power lines that needed to be removed in Half Moon Bay. I called 5 different tree companies to get an estimate. Ryan inspected the tree on the same day we called and gave us an estimate within 24 hours. Their customer service is superb and they were the most responsive out of the tree companies that we dealt with. Patty, the office manager, was awesome in coordinating with the utility company and the City. Ryan and his crew got the trees cut down and hauled away within the timeframe that he told us. Everyone in the neighborhood is so happy that the trees are gone. Thanks for the great job Precision Tree! read more

My experience with Precision Tree Care has been one of the best customer experiences I've had. Patty contacted me shortly after I requested a quote. Precision Tree is AMAZING! We had them come over to trim our overgrown trees in our backyard, prune a few troublesome ones, and even cut down a gigantic pine tree that was diseased and needed to go. They were super considerate of our property, very clean, very nice, and we would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for any sort of "tree" service for their property and or business. They were knowledgeable, respectful, and reliable. Calling them and hiring them to do this job was one of the best decisions that we have ever made. They did a beautiful job and we are so incredibly happy with their customer service and the completion of their work. Money well worth it! p.s. They even came back to check everything out the next day, and made a few snips to a few other trees in our backyard to open up our view a bit. So awesome read more

Tree be gone. Thank you Ryan, Patty and Leo + crew! We needed to disappear a large (40-50') Fan Palm from our backyard. To make it dramatic: it was in a tight corner, near some power lines. The tree had rained fronds on our backyard and our neighbors' and damaged our patio roof. Not to mention, it was tearing up our fence. With "El Nino" looming; we needed to do something before it could do more damage; fall over; whatever. I called a half-dozen services and got estimates to remove the tree. Ryan, the owner of Precision was the first to respond and come out to survey. They were fairly priced (not the highest, not the lowest), and I thought he was straight-up; no bs. The bid process and setting up the actual job was super easy/straight forward. Fast forward to the day of the job: Boom. Done. Leo and crew don't mess around. They were efficient, courteous and professional. They took down the tree, ground the stump and cleaned everything up and hauled it away. No trace. They even cleaned up both my neighbors' yards. This is how you run a business. Awesome job. read more

A long overdue review.... My cypress tree fell down during the winter storm this year at 2am on a Sunday morning. Scrambled to find a business to do an emergency removal since the tree was blocking my neighbors' egress from our street. Ryan and his crew came out promptly and took care of everything. Patty in the office was also helpful in working with my insurance company. Recommended for reliability and fast response. read more

I have a tall palm that looked like it might be coming out of a planter box. I was worried about it but also worried that whoever I called for a free examination would tell me it had to come down. (Kind of like those free dentist cleanings where they always find some dental work...) Someone recommended Precision Tree Care. Ryan came out, right on time. Took a look at my tree and gave me some feedback on how we could re-do the planter box and that the tree didn't need to be cut. I was really happy to save the tree, but also really happy that Ryan gave me honest advice, even if it didn't lead to any business. I even offered something for his time and he said no worries, as it was truly a free evaluation. Great integrity and very knowledgeable! Thanks! read more

My HOA used these guys for a pretty large job, and after seeing the job they did, I decided to get a quote from them for a much smaller job but still too big to do myself. Ryan showed up promptly in the morning and assessed what I wanted done. They had an estimate in my email inbox that afternoon. After signing the invoice and approving, they were in my back yard the next week completing the job. They were fast, efficient, and thorough. Reasonable rates too, in comparison to other bids. I think they do book up, so I think it's better to get in touch with them sooner rather than later. I strongly recommend them. read more

Been using Precision Tree Care for over 15 years now and have never been disappointed. From annual maintenance to emergency removal of trees toppled in a storm this company is awesome. Our biggest project entailed removal of a 165' Doug Fir with heart and root rot - without damaging our house and landscaping. These guys did it perfectly. We live in Woodside, CA with a few acres of oaks, redwoods and a variety of other trees. Ryan and his crew know the trees and what to do for care and maintenance. What's a real bonus is that it's the same crew every time so the standard of work remains top notch. And they do a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Wish I could give them 6 stars! read more

I had a pittosporum tree at the front of my house whose roots were endangering the plastic main gas line that runs to my house from the street. The crew that put in the gas line recommended that the tree be removed for safety purposes. Precision Tree Care took care of the problem, removing the tree professionally, safely and at a fair price. I am delighted with Juan, the owner; with Patty, who coordinated everything; and with the three wonderful employees who removed the tree without harming a nearby car and without rupturing the gas line. I give this great company my highest recommendation! read more

The Precision Tree Care, Inc provided an excellent service. They are fully licensed with the liability insurance. The crew of four came as schedule. Leo was the lead guy. The crew and Patty at the office were all very polite and professional. The crew calmly and patiently waited for neighbors to move their cars so their truck and chipper can be parked. They used all safety gears to protect them. They finished the job of cutting two medium size Monterey Pine trees and one small Hollywood Juniper tree in two hours. They cleaned up very well. I would highly recommend them. read more
