Requested a reasonable quote with pics on pool tile cleaning on a job that would only take approximately 2 hours to complete and received an exorbitant estimate from this company that was nearly twice as much as some other local businesses that already provided me with a quote. According to the email response, the estimate was calculated erroneously (150 to 170 linear feet) much larger than the actual size of my pool and stated that when the truck shows up to the house that they will re-measure to give me an accurate quote?? Red Flag!! What kind of business comes out to your home without a solid contractual agreement on the total charges? The company was contacted by email with dismay about the quote ($825-$935) with additional costs if I wanted pool tile sealer, etc. Instead of providing respectable "Customer service", the president of the company responds with anger in his email justifying their charges due to "Expensive equipment costing $150,000 per truck, and states that he doesn't damage pool tiles - which appears to be a false claim according to other Yelper's who previously posted reviews about issues with their damaged pool tiles after tile cleaning by this same company! Additionally, the company president states: "I hope they don't damage your tile or leave a mess. And I hope your calcium dosent [sic] come right back. We definitely aren't interested in working with someone who judges us even befor [sic] they meet us. Good luck!" How sad that the president of this company doesn't know how to effectively communicate to a prospective customer, but rather displays his anger and arrogance to a customer only seeking a reasonable estimate. My Yelp advice and opinion: Keep shopping around and don't go with the biggest company just because they have "Expensive $150,000 equipment", and just be aware that they may be outsourcing their work to other smaller companies when they are too busy - justifying the reason why they didn't bother coming out to see my pool beforehand, and the estimate provided to me was so ridiculously exorbitant. By the way, even the biggest, shiniest company will damage your pool tile too! read more
