Was told that they no longer take blue view and that they could do my eye exam but when it came to my glasses I would need to go to their sister location or somewhere else. I was planning on going to their sister location. The day of my appointment I was told my copay was $90. $30 for my annual eye exam and another $60 for them to just give me my prescriptio. that's ridiculous. It's my prescription. It's not my fault they no longer take the insurance. Especially if I was going to their sister store for my glasses. I will never go back there.

As politely as I can say this.....never, EVER again!!!! Last 6 months have been so difficult…read more Insurance issues. They never bothered to submit to insurance (never told me) and when I was due to pick up glasses they told me I could get the frames now and the lenses in a year! Of what benefit is that? It took an entire day for ME, without their help, never disclosing they failed to submit to insurance and were deceptive about ordering glasses three weeks prior, to straighten this entire mess out. An unbelievable nightmare. They finally submitted to insurance and immediate coverage of course but I had to wait an additional three weeks for glasses to come in for a total of six weeks unable to see. They never offered to expedite. Then the glasses come in and I can not see a thing through them. I was told to keep wearing and get used to them. Could NOT see. Had horrible headaches from straining to see. Then the final visit for a lens prescription change when the frustrated doctor changed the exam lenses so fast that vertigo was brought on snapping at me "which one you see better" and my ability to answer because I could not either. I just guessed to stop him from snapping at me. Finally I could not take it anymore, gave up, left in tears NEVER to return EVER again! They were good upon initial opening. Now it is incredibly difficult and I truly do not want to leave this bad review but hopefully the Dr and the VERY, VERY rude staff will understand there is very real problem that needs to be addressed. Customer service is horrendous. Horrendous! Now I know why. If the doctor is snappy of course the staff would be the same and incredibly incompetent as well. I hope they can fix their issues, I truly do. As long as nobody messes up they are adequate however if there is an issue you are in for one heck of a long, impossible nightmare.

I will never go here again. I waited nearly 4 months to see the female eye doctor (Aucello). When I…read morearrived the receptionist was very pushy and said she is backed up and asked me if I wanted to see the new eye doctor they just hired. It was the kind of request where if I said no I would look like jerk so I said sure. I wish I just waited and not cared because I heard the female eye doctor is the best. This man was not personable at all. I had multiple questions and he treated me like an incompetent woman. I knew after my visit with him I would never go to him again. The woman helping me with my glasses was nice but their selection was horrible and expensive. The worst was when I picked up my glasses! They didn't even provide any eye glass cleaner because they ran out... you seriously have none at an EYE doctor?? Now with billing. I went in November and just now in April am getting a bill. My insurance covers an annual eye exam 100% so I'm unsure why they are charging me nearly $200. I called to inquire and the male receptionist said he had no clue what was going on and he was going to talk to billing and get back to me that day when he returns from break. I heard nothing for 3 days. I just called back today and the female receptionist said there was no note on my file about my previous inquiry. She verified my insurance info and it matched so I have no clue why they are still billing me when my insurance covers 100%. She said they will contact me once they talked to billing. So I'm assuming I will not hear back and I'll still have an outstanding bill from this horrible place. Once my billing situation gets straightened out I will NEVER go here again. Sorry Aucello- maybe if I actually got to visit with you I would have a different opinion but this billing situation just takes me over the edge. Do not come here!!!

They accepted Medicare and quickly helped me to buy 2 new pairs of glasses, one mostly covered by Medicare. There was a $30 co-pay, which was great for my bifocals and the other pair was reasonable. Please stay away from this location…read more I have been bringing my daughter here for years, literally years. & Today we go and I tell them everything is the same as it's always been. They do her exam & we go sit down for them to order the glasses and they gave me paperwork for me sign something saying insurance will cover this and that... please keep in mind that I stated numerous times that the insurance doesn't sound right as my husbands insurance through work was no longer active. They said it's pulling up so let them pay. Okay cool. I go to sign paperwork and my daughter's first name is spelled correctly, her last name isn't. My daughter's birthdate is wrong... they initially told me that the woman just copied it over wrong & it's fine... then she begins looking back and forth a bit more closely and finds that the last name is spelled this "incorrect" way... then they ask me if my name is Crystal and I say no. Suddenly everything that was covered through insurance needs to be paid. We cancelled ordering glasses with the understanding that I would just order online and then they tried to charge me for today's visit. They tried justifying it by saying they were reimbursing me for something from our previous visit that should never have been ordered to begin with. I made it clear that I wasn't paying because she has insurance that they apparently no longer take & it's not on me that they ran the wrong one. I did walk out with my refund from the previous visit and I plan to reschedule my daughter's visit with another business. Any business that is okay with brushing off the fact that they were running the wrong insurance as if it's no big deal and has still tried to run it in the beginning is shady. Really makes me wonder what they've been up to. I do intend to report them because this is not okay.
