Best service around! They have taken good care of all my cars for over 25 years. I won't let anyone else work on my cars

Very professional and honest. I'm so used to jiffy lube and the prices here are much more reasonable. I would recommend Precision.

I highly recommend this Christian Brothers shop on Rt 59 and North Ave in West Chicago. I needed…read moreto get my engine replaced in a 13 year old Chevy Malibu ECO and wasn't sure I wanted to spent that kind of money. But it was well worth it! My car feels and drives like it is new, for real. The new engine purrs and the handling of the car has been tightened up at no cost to me. Other nagging issues were cleaned up at no additional cost. The job took a little longer than expected due to severe weather. I was offered a rental to help get errands done. I didn't need the renal but the offer was very nice. I felt very well taken care of. Thanks Jason and Joe!

I brought my car to this shop to diagnose an engine code issue. After their inspection, I was told…read morethe vehicle needed a remanufactured part and reprogramming, with an estimated cost of around $1,500. Before moving forward with the repair, I decided to investigate further on my own. Within about 30 minutes, I resolved the issue using a $7 cleaner, and the problem was fixed without replacing any parts. Based on this experience, I feel the recommended repair was unnecessary and significantly overpriced. I'm particularly disappointed given that the business presents itself as Christian Brothers Automotive, as I expected a higher level of honesty and transparency. I would strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to expensive repairs.

I'd honestly give zero stars if at all possible. This place…read morehas really gone down hill over the years with no regard for proper customer service. 12/8/25 I dropped off my bmw to have the catalytic converters and o2 sensors replaced, I trailered my own vehicle there instead of paying for a tow because the old converters were completely clogged and not work risking the engine damage. Upon arrival I had zero problems starting the car and unloading it off the trailer and driving it to the back lot and let it idle for 5 minutes while I put all my straps away and went inside to give my info. 12/12/25 I go to pick up the vehicle with full intention of driving it home, I pay $700 cash (I supplied my parts) go out to the car and it's got no power (it's winter maybe batteries dead no big deal) they help me jump the battery's car starts and has a plethora of service lights( abs, service 4x4, parking break malfunction) accompanied by a rough idle. Already knowing I just got ripped off I asked one of the guys outside what all they touched and got " not my problem" in return followed with "we didn't do it" when I referred to the service lights. I went to leave and the vehicle stalled in their parking lot resulting in needing jumped again. I'm now stuck with a tow bill, the $700 I was charged for them to screw up car and a bill with a mechanic fixing their errors. Then I had to ask for a receipt as if it's not common business practice to give a customer a receipt when a bills paid. I brought you a car I was able to unload off a trailer and leave with a car on a flatbed tow truck because it can't even be driven up on a trailer. This is a joke of "service" you guys took $700 from me and left me with an inoperable vehicle. I will be perusing legal action if this issue is not addressed in a timely manor.

I brought my wife's 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit in for new brakes and rotors. A few weeks…read morelater, my wife noticed the brakes were making a squealing noise during turns so I brought the vehicle back to have it inspected. I was charged $100 just for them to look into the issue. What was most concerning was learning that when the brakes and rotors were replaced a few weeks earlier, the shop chose to install lower-quality aftermarket parts rather than OEM parts. The original components on the vehicle were OEM, but instead of giving us the option to choose, the service advisor of Indian descent told me they used cheaper parts because OEM parts were "too expensive" and would make them less competitive. That decision was made without our knowledge or approval. When it comes to critical safety components like brakes, customers should always be given the option and informed about the quality of parts being installed. Choosing lower-quality parts to save money--without discussing it with the customer--raises serious concerns about quality, safety, and reliability. At the very least, we should have been given the option to replace the parts with OEM components or informed beforehand about what was being installed. Instead of rectifying their original mistake they shifted focus to other parts (pins) that still didn't address the issue at hand. Hence, I would not recommend if you're looking for honesty, quality, safety, and RELIABILITY.
