He was very thorough about what steps we could be doing for maintenance and to prolong the life of our chimney, and even showed us some hidden features of our fireplace we were unaware about. He suggested a few long-term preventive maintenance things, some easy DIY things I could do in the next year, and was clearly was honest and not up-selling us anything. Very reasonable rates compared to other quotes we received, and cleaned up after himself - we will definitely use him again for any future fireplace maintenance.

We're so pleased with the results of their work! The bid was thorough and competitive, but it was pictures of their past work that sold us. We are so happy with this company; they even added topsoil and bark dust, as well as gravel, in places where it was needed after the shape of the patio and driveway were slightly altered. They left a turn key project. It was a big job to demolish our 47x21 driveway and our back patio. Miguel saved us money by suggesting they overlay our two sets of poorly done steps rather than demolish them. We now have beautiful, even steps that are much safer to use. I added new post caps during the job, which they constructed on-site. I would hire this pleasant and diligent team again in a heartbeat!

Weather delayed our start, but Paul was in contact with us every day giving us an update. We always knew he was on top of the project. The project took a week. The crew was efficient, polite and friendly. They were always on time. They did not leave a mess in the yard. A minor concern was corrected without extra cost. I wish I would have seen the previous review before we hired P&L. The owner Paul was very nice and…read moreseemed very knowledgeable and we arranged for them to remove our old carport and slab and install a new slab for our new garage. The slab size had to be very accurate, and Paul assured us this would happen. He also explained in the estimate all of the structural components that would be included. Fast forward to the pouring of the slab when my husband noticed that the forms were the wrong height, and many of the footings and reinforcements were missing. When my husband insisted this be done correctly and to make sure the size was accurate, one of the workers was agitated. When he also said they need to double check the dimensions, one asked 'why does it matter?' . Once Paul arrived (he was not there often), the reinforcements and footings were fixed. After the pour he let us know that the slab had bowed in 2 places, so then they had to cut the slab to the dimensions on the plans, which looks terrible. And now we see that even with their cutting the dimensions are still incorrect. They also left food waste and garbage in our yard after the pour, and tons of large nails and large concrete debris from the forms and the carport demo on the ground. Hugely disappointing, and have no confidence that they can fix it without more issues so will do it ourselves and hope for the best. At least the top is nicely finished? Construction concrete work is clearly not their strength.

Awful company. I got work done a year ago and decided not to leave a review however I'm STILL…read morehaving issues, so here goes. Original plan was not followed. I had to get all the way to a supervisor to get the crew to stop working. They did in fact need to change the design but never reviewed it with me. A third design had to be done and they still put the sump pump right in front of my hot water heater, they did not pitch the one side enough so water sits there, left my driveway full of small and large metal shavings (and I have 2 young kids and 2 dogs who run in the backyard), did not clean up other materials, did not remove the dirt they dug up in the basement (told me I had to pay extra, you would think for 24k it'd be included. They also went to dig up my patio to run the water line, which could have been adjusted a few feet to not dig up an entire patio- again, no one would listen until I spoke to that one supervisor again, it was unreal. There were multiple times they were scheduled to come and never showed or showed on a different day then was scheduled, at least 4 times, and the crew had no idea. Fast forward to my yearly inspection, where he recommended I get a dehumidifier, and I was confused bc I paid to get one (that was one of my main things before I got talked into upgrading to a 24k job). They NEVER installed the dehumidifier and there has been new mold growth. They were not forthcoming with pics but sent a crew to spray, the crew had no idea what they were spraying for. They finally installed the dehumidifier and now I'm waiting for them to return to fix the encapsulation which is pulling apart, for the thousands of dollars it was, it was not worth it. The entire job was not worth it (3 columns designed to hold up large buildings, used to hold up my tiny house), encapsulation, dug around the edges, put in a sump pump, and now the dehumidifier. I would NOT recommend!!!!
