I went to city master barbers before and it was alright. Got my hair cut my Russians. They were alright but these guys at Precision are top notch. There is a great atmosphere especially for teens. These barbers wear some fresh ass clothes and the music is good and they greet you good and I say this is the best barber shop in old bridge. I use Miami. I hear Ray is the best. You should go there to find out. Don't forget to make an appointment read more

Precision Hair Studio - Hair Salons Near Me - Old Bridge, New Jersey

Don't be late or miss your appointment, you will be charged a no show fee. There are zero exceptions even for long time loyal clients after 1 incident. It's a shame. They do good work but do not appreciate their clients by punishing them for circumstances sometimes not within their control. . Keep in mind this is a barber shop in and out of the chair within 15 minutes. Not a NYC high end salon. Disappointing. They lost me as a client. read more

I'm a short haired female with an undercut I normally get my hair done by a barber but I'm visiting my family in jersey. I asked my nephew where he gets his fade he recommend this Place... I was told they were a barber shop that don't take females! Wtf is that all about!!! read more

I have called this place home for the last year or so after relocating b/c the vibes are good in here and they make you feel comfortable. The cherry on top is my barber Tedi who is just an absolute beast with my cuts. I never have to worry about a bad cut from him. read more

Yesterday I booked 2 spots for my boys for haircut for today. I was so surprised that they are accepting appointments through Booksy app during the COVID-19. Anyway Geoffrey girgis the owner confirmed the appointment. I live in Manalapan I made the trip for nothing and went there but no one was there it was closed. The app shows that the appointment was finished. I tried to call several times I get disconnected. Very bad service. Never again in such unprofessional place. read more

Precision Hair Studio - Hair Salons Near Me - Old Bridge, New Jersey

Only went here because my barber is on vacation. This place is 5 min from me. I remain respectful to the law and the rules of my environment. They require masks (like all facilities) and it was displayed on the front door. a client sitting about 6-7ft away from me was allowed to take his mask off during his haircut. My barber barely had the mask on, didn't even cover his nose and his top lip. My haircut came out awful. Chunks of hair were razored off, looks like I have 2 thumb prints on the side of my head. The baby hairs (side burns) under my mask were not shaved. I look like a clown less than a week from Christmas. Not sure if the gentleman who cut my hair was blind or careless. read more

Alex is such an amazing barber definitely always have my son looking so handsome but honestly they all are sum great barbers. Always great vibes and energy! read more

Jesus is awesome! Always does a superb job on my picky teenager.. he also does a great job of cleaning up his eyebrows. Love booking appointments on the Booksy app.. makes it so much easier now! read more

This place is truly the best. Every barber here knows what they're doing and knows you by name. Jay is the best in the business I have been going to him for about 15 years and will for a long time to come. Talented barbers all over the place at precision! read more

Nice hair studio for both men and women. The area is huge, with at least 4 to 5 hair stylist doing their thing at the same time. Nice flat screen tv while you wait on a nice comfortable leather seats. The place is decorated well with NY portraits of the city and subways etc. Staff is friendly and funny! The best part is, they know how to cut hair to your liking. Very Clean too. You can talk about any topic with these guys and each of them will know a little something about it. Place is near shoprite and a liquor store so if you have a few minutes to spare, you can go shopping and get drunk before your appointment time. ;) Try not to be late because they usually are pretty accurate with their appointment time. read more

This place is well planned and put together. It's clean, spacious, well-lit, laid-out and designed. The staff is friendly and efficient. I've gotten my hair cut from two of the barbers so far. The barbers followed my instructions and did a great job. I've gotten my hair cut at lots of places over the years. This is one of only a handful of shops I would recommend. I've been to shops where there's no customer service, where the barbers lack skills in doing fades and shapeups, you get cuts or scabs from the shapeup, where the barber will leave you in the chair to go outside to chitchat with a friend. This is NOT that kind of establishment. You can tell that everything is done in detail and with care. They even choose clean, calm music to play at a level that allows everyone to carry a conversation. This place is professional. I would recommend it for haircuts, fades, and shapeups. They have salon services for women as well. read more

Just because I read below not to go to Jesus, I wanted to say that he gave me a great cut. I asked for a specific cut and he did it perfectly. I would have no hesitation going to Jesus or any of the other barbers in this very busy shop. If you stop in without an appointment, you're just wasting time. They are always too busy to handle walk-ins. These guys all know what they're doing and the shop is cool. I'd recommend this place if your a guy who wants to look sharp. read more

They never told me I was the first woman they were experimenting. Mae supposedly was the only stylist. She was not professional at all. She didn't even knew how to hold a scissors. She chopped my hair horrible. I was in tears. Had to go to another hair salon. read more

Absolute best barber shop in Old Bridge hands down, I have been dealing with these in particular barbers for over 15 years and they are the best of the best. And with children they blew me away. Keep it up fellas!! Great environment SUPER CLEAN read more

Don't even waste you're time coming to this garbage barber shop! Instead of picking up a walk in the barber walked around for 30 minutes for his next appointment! What a terrible hair salon wit sub par hair cuts at best. 2nd time this happened to me. Go to a real barber these guys are just a bunch of chuckle heads. read more

Wasted 75 minutes of my life here! "Walk-ins Welcome" is what is said on the door, but I did not feel welcomed at all. Given the high reviews on Yelp, I figured I'd give this place a shot. First of all I was not greeted when I entered the place even after standing like an idiot at the register for 2 minutes. So, I figured they don't have a receptionist and I took a seat. After waiting 45 minutes, I was told I would be next (LIE #1). Then, somehow, someone else went and took the seat after the customer was served! I was getting ready to leave, and just before I could I was promised I could be taken next (LIE #2). Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I decided to stick around for 15 more minutes. Then they have the nerve to tell me that their appointment had "just came in" and that I would be taken next! (ATTEMPTED LIE #3) Incredible! I was lied to multiple times! I have never wasted more time in my life than at this place. The haircuts did not seem all that special either - there was a promo inside "Show us a positive yelp review and receive $5 off" so I would not believe all of these positive reviews. Never again! read more

I can see throughout this comment section it's hit or miss for most people. My first experience was fine due to the simplistic way I wanted my hair cut (army like style). However, my second time coming was horrible. I was cut by Rob and he seemed very careless and even messed up cutting my hair. I'm going to a different barber tomorrow to just shave the rest of my head because he made my hair look so weird. Service was mediocre and the barber barley listened to anything I asked. So I guess for this place picking the right barber is key. read more

Under no circumstances should you go see Jesus, he is by far the worst barber I've ever had, not only did he completely screw up my hair by leaving one side longer but left a small patch of hair that he completely missed.. Also used a strong rubbing alcohol which left me a rash for 3 days. Horrible experience read more

They seemed friendly, but I hated the way the served. My brother and I came in one day to get my brother a haircut. They told us there were only 4 people ahead of us, and there were 7 barbers there so I decided to wait. I noticed they took care of a lot of people before us (a lot more than 4) even though these people came in after us, because they were friends with the barbers. And I could tell that some of these people didn't have appointments because I've been working in a similar business for years. We went home after 1 and a half hours waiting for NOTHING. Very mad and pissed!! read more

I just want to mention that the reviews claiming the customer service sucks, it does indeed. I was told not to worry about making an appointment on the phone and walk ins were welcome so I said why not? I came in and was told it'd be a little bit and I was waiting next to 2 people. Those 2 people were long seen and multiple people came throughout and got their hair cut. The barbers were making jokes and having conversations and no one bothered to check in with me the whole time. I waited for like an hour, maybe more like an idiot thinking they'll acknowledge me any minute but nope. Then the girl at the front desk said it'd be better if i just come in another time with an appointment. Should have freaken told me that the first time. Man screw this place. read more

Love this place! The people are friendly, they have huge tv's so that the kids don't get bored waiting for a cut and most importantly, the cuts are sharp and precise! Hence the name "Precision Hair" I would definitely recommend this place if your in the area. read more

Horrible customer service. Went here with my son and we waited 2.5 hrs after I previously called for an appointment and they said we could just come in. It took them even a while for them to acknowledge us when we arrived. After wasting my time there, I ended up just leaving after seeing someone walk out there with a terrible haircut. My son won't be walking around with crooked hairlines! Won't be giving a second chance. read more

Piece of shit place don't ever come here make you wait for hours and even when you have an appointment they still make you wait for hours

They give some good haircuts and deserve credit for that but even if you make an appointment they take you as much as 30 minutes after you've made the appointment for, and that's more common than being taken on your normal time. read more

Best barbers in the state of NJ hands down, if your looking for a shape up, fade, hot shave or just a trim this is the spot to be. Friendly staff, fair pricing and easy parking. Walk-ins are welcomed but I would recommend making an appointment as this place gets packed everyday of the week. read more

Excellent barbershop. Professionalism from every barber. I love how committed they are to perfecting the hair cut and how consistent they are with appointment times, they never keep me waiting. A++ Value !!! read more

Got another great haircut from Precision. This time it was a walk in experience. I didn't have time during my busy week to schedule a haircut for Saturday with Rob and I learned the hard way that you do not want to walk in on a Saturday morning! I ended up waiting for over and hour but Mike made it worth it. He was as nice as can be and hooked me up with another great haircut. Thanks for being professionals at Precision! You have earned yourself a loyal customer! read more

Great staff, appointments are the best way to go because they are on a highway and have plenty of people coming in and out. Your cut will always be on point. Dave does my haircuts for the last 3 years but everyone else is capable of a great haircut too. They are very friendly and respectful. read more

Excellent service very professional salon. Great place for children. Great hours for working People. Family Friendly environment.

Best barbers around. Can get a haircut from anyone of them and be very happy with the outcome. Wouldn't trust my hair in anyone else's care.

Really great place and great service. Jeff had cut my hair and I was very satisfied. Highly recommend making an appointment. I had to wait an hour and a half for a haircut because of appointment priority. Not their fault, I should have made an appointment. Other than that the barbers were extremely friendly. Highly recommend this barbershop. THEY TAKE CASH ONLY. read more

My son and husband go here for haircuts. My husband goes to Jesus and he cut his hair a bit too short the first time. But told him that at next appointment and perfect haircuts ever since. He also makes my husband's eyebrows look amazing. My son goes to Ray and it is a fantastic cut. I don't understand some of the bad reviews. The haircuts truly are precision and my 57 year old husband looks so much better than when he went to Haircuttery. Plus, they give a discount to military. read more

For the first time ever, my 3.5 year old son got his haircut without tears!! I had brought him to multiple salons to try. Every time, he screamed bloody murder. I brought him here, and he had his haircut with Jesus. What a wonderful experience! I still can't believe how good Jesus was with my son, and how my son didn't cry at all. I will 100% come back here! My son's hair looks so good! read more

Went today had awful experience and I am a 2year old customer I love this place and everyone it's very friendly as far as I thought. My barber jerameal moved to Florida and he was by far the best barber I ever had not just for the quality of haircut he gave me but his customer service was beyond my expectations every single time he would be backed up and still give me the dedicated time and my haircut was always on point so here is what happened to : first I went to Miami not my usual Barber but my barbers were booked so I took the chance because all the Barber look legit so The cut is off I can see the lines in my fade he trimmed my beard down to a trimmed stuble after I told him to leave it semi thick so it can balance then he was mad dry has no carisma to cut I was like a number won't go back to him if Jesus can't then it's Ray if they arent there then I will stay woofing read more

I've never placed a review for any product or service ever before, but I thought now is a good time to start contributing as I myself rely on reviews. I went in today for a haircut here for the first time, and despite not having an appointment Jason (co-owner) accommodated me by skipping his break to squeeze me in! He was very friendly, professional, responsive, and periodically checked-in to ensure I was happy with my cut. Above all, easily the best haircut I've had in years. In a world where there are many competitive services in a densely-populated area like Central NJ, it's great to see really good customer service come through by Precision. My little one needs his very first haircut in a couple of weeks and I'll be sure to go back there for that. read more

These guys know what they're doing. Brooks, fades, hawks, you name it they'll do it. Really cool atmosphere, good music, flat screen tv's to watch while you wait, and classic barbershop conversation. Jeff and Jay, the owners, aren't just businessmen, but top notch barbers as well. It's the kind of place where no matter who's chair your in, your gonna get a fresh cut no matter what. Dave has been cutting my hair for years, I have really curly, hard to manage hair, and he cuts my hair better than anyone I've ever let do it. Get one cut there and I guarantee you'll be telling your friends about it. read more

Miserable experience. Have been here 2-3 times before. Was never all that impressed but it did the trick. This time, horrible. Called to make an appointment and since I don't have a regular there, they gave me Ray. I show up at the scheduled time and Ray is chomping away on some peanuts/various other things in a jar. He tells me he's ready and I'm just hoping he bothers to wash his hands first. He doesn't. Then, the entire time he's just playing the role of comic relief to his co-workers. Walks away from my stand at least 5-6 different times, just to talk to his co-workers. Doesn't ask me if I'd like a round or straight cut in the back, doesn't ask if the cut was short enough, and I had to remind him to cut the back of the neck - at which point he uses the clipper and then a straight razor, without applying any shaving cream. Total idiot. Of course, I gave no tip except the friendly advice that if all he wants to do is chat with his buddies then he should go outside since he's definitely giving the impression that he's not paying attention. I get home, look in the mirror, and, no surprise, it's a godawful haircut. Ray - find a position as a comedian, you're not suited for this. read more

Since moving to be 5 years ago I had so much trouble finding a good barber. All I came across was a wanna be gangsta shop which claimed to give good hair cuts but didn't. Then I tried several "NY style" barber shops and was some times left wondering why I would pay for such a miserable haircut. One time I wanted long on the top but faded sides and the Israeli gives me skin sides and a buzzed Mohawk....after this I tried Justin's and had Togo back twice for them to correct it...I gave up on barbers completely and started buzzing my own head. Then I found precision. And thank goodness!!!! The first time I walked in and DO NOT recommend it. Make your appointments it's better off. Every barber is talented. Jay has been cutting mine and my sons hair for the last year and a half, for me that's huge as I have a problem liking the cuts I get. Jay and his staff are great, professional, and courteous. This is the spot if you are new to jersey or having a problem finding a good barber. But remember to scheduale your appt before hand so your not waiting. Try to get jay but they are great. read more

Love this place. Miami is easily the best barber I've ever had cut my hair. It's a little expensive but worth it.
