After being told I like my hair long and to keep it long she proceeded to buzz half my head. Even after showing her photos and telling her to keep it long. If you care about the integrity of your hair, do not let Blerona cut it! I asked for a trim and not more than an inch. I just wanted to cut the dead ends off but instead she cut into my hair thinning it all out and left me with split ends all the way up. It took me several years to grow my hair out and finally have it healthy again. I trusted her to freshen it up but instead she left me with damaged hair. When I tried explaining what the issue was she did not take accountability and instead tried to play it off that this was just what layers look like (meanwhile I never even asked for layers!) I wasn't going to write this because maybe she was just having a bad day but she couldn't even take accountability for her mistake. Literally the worst hair cut I think I've ever had. Blocking your clients will not help from them telling the truth Linda. Booking an appointment with the salon owner (Linda) made me think I would get what I asked for, regrettably it was a mistake. I got sat down with two other clients she was working on, so I knew things where off already, I showed her my inspo photos and the blonde that I desired, she took a quick glance and hurried away to her other clients, as she came back over to me with the color, I had to stop her and let her know that I was not finished explaining what exactly I wanted done differently than the inspo photos (full head of highlights with some dimension and a bold money piece to frame the face), she then stated it would not be an issue getting ice blond highlights with my hair color (natural dirty blonde). I asked her to get my highlights to a white platnum with (no yellow), she confidently told me there will not be any yellow and to not worry. Once my hair was dryed I noticed it was nothing close to what I wanted, (too much dark glaze and barely any highlights that where yellow toned). I called her back the next day and told Linda I was not satisfied and wanted my hair to be lighter and (no yellow), she booked me for the following day and told me I would not have to pay anything. I come in and explain my self once more, she said again promising that I will not have any yellow once we where through. As she finishes I see my hair is yellow still and I understood that I was in the wrong hands for this simple job, I didnt say anything because there was nothing more she could do but damage my hair, as I am walking out she comes to me and says "can you please pay atleast $50 extra since I used alot of color". I paid $275 for my first visit which I would not mind if my hair was done correctly. I give her those $50 bucks and left knowing I would not recommend going here to anyone. *Does not listen closely *Rushing/ overbooking *Overpriced for unprofessional work. * Working with 4 clients at the same time. *Speaking another language in front of clients. * redoing my hair incorrectly again and putting black spots in my hair/damaging. * (Making rude comments), Calling my friend who was also getting her hair done "hangry" many times because she was worried about her damged hair also done by Linda. Just got back from this Salon. Linda, the owner did the work on my daughter's hair. Came out nothing like the picture we showed her on Friday. Yes, we went on Friday to make sure Linda would be able to do the process on her hair. She said yes. Appt. was set for the following Tuesday. The picture was long white/blond waves with rose gold Oya tones. Her hair came golden blond with barely, noticeable pink tones. Linda kept saying, "I thought." To which I said, "it doesn't matter what you thought it's about the picture we showed you on Friday." While blow drying my daughters hair which we said we didn't want she kept on saying bad things about me to my daughter. She asked her if I had a stick up my butt. Nails after 9 days... got the dip powder done. Paid 65 for a mani pedi and every single nail is chipped and faded now. Not doing any work with my hands that should make them look like this. Usually get dip done at a better salon in philly and it takes much longer for anything to happen to the polish, and it's never to this extent. Never coming here again. I found this salon after wasting a lot of money on a well rated salon in NYC. I wanted a subtle ombre, and ended up with orangey highlights. I was so upset with my hair, I was searching for a place to fix it asap and found Salon Belladonna on instagram. I saw everyone mentioning Lauren so I figured I would give it a shot, and I am SO happy I did! I have really thick hair and some stylists get tired towards the end, which is why I think it's been hard for me to find the right place. I have gotten balayage painted twice here, once to go very blonde for summer and once to go to a light brunette and both times I have been very happy with the results. I also got a glaze to tone down the blonde after a few months, which changed the color for half the price. All of the times the color came out pretty, close to the picture I showed, and long lasting. I trust them with my hair since all 3 experiences were positive and true to what I asked for. Prices are about average. Also- I see old reviews about the staff being rude but I did not see anything rude in my visits, the staff always seems very nice to their clients, and they take their time on your hair. read more

Horrible experience! Not only was my cut atrocious, I was charged $70 for it. It's as if the manager makes up prices as she goes. The cherry on top of this nightmare experience was that the entire time I was there the manager was making fun of another patron after she left the salon! Bad atmosphere, even worse service. I went here one month ago (first time) and showed a picture of what I wanted which was a brown base (which is what I started with) with some scattered caramel balayage and the hairdresser Dorina kept insisting I put blonde in the front even when I told her I did not want that, she insisted "it's in, it will bring out your eyes." The service cost me $260 plus tip and she didn't do anything that I had asked. She and the manager Linda also harassed me the whole time that my hair is "fine" and that I should do their $1200 extensions and even after I declined Linda continued on saying "it's sexy and all the guys will be holding the door for you." When I told her I had a boyfriend she replied "oh then this will make him put a ring on your finger." I never been in such an unprofessional salon in my life. All they care about is money and not their customers, trying to make me feel like I didn't look good the way I was. I was coming back a few days later for a frizz treatment that cost $150. She mentioned that my hair might look even lighter after this treatment and that she could put a toner on it- the color didn't change much after the treatment so I decided to leave it alone and try to get used to it, plus my hair is always up in a pony tail so I couldn't really tell until I went out for a friends birthday and saw pictures and was very upset- my hair looked like a grown out single process. I finally decided to go back for color correction and made it clear when I booked the appointment why I was coming back and that I didn't want her doing my hair this time because she didn't listen to me the first time and did whatever she wanted to do- probably because her way cost more money for all that extra highlighting. I found this salon by coming across Lauren's instagram while in a panic from a hair DISASTER. My hair was absolutely ruined from the salon I always go to. It was orange, bleached and fried. I cried for days not knowing what to do. They took me right away and everyone was very sweet. Lauren is amazing, professional and knew exactly what to do and what I wanted. The transformation is unbelievable. Lauren is very good at what she does and is highly skilled with balayge and natural highlights. She also recommended an olaplex treatment for the damage that was done and I couldn't believe how soft and shiny my hair is. Almost like no damage was ever done. I never write reviews on Yelp, but for this salon I had to! This place is horrible! If I could give it 0 stars I would! The one who cut my hair did a terrible job...and she was the owner, Linda! I have long hair and asked for seamless/shattered layers, with no harsh lines. I even showed her photos of what I meant. And she gave me exactly what I did not want. The layers were cut with visible harsh lines and not what I had explained. I asked her to at least use shearing scissors to get rid of some of the weight and she did a half ass job of it. Another customer came in whom she started gossiping with and she had the nerve to not even finish blow drying my hair and asked someone else to finish it up and went straight to working on that customer. And another thing, all the stylists in there were gossiping with one another in front of the customers...so RUDE!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone! read more

Amazing! I was in search of a hairdresser to wow me and I found an artist who went over and above anything I was expecting. From the minute I walked in the door Viktoria really listened to what I wanted and brought my hair back to life! I visited the salon to achieve subtle and simple sun- kissed highlights. After the owner, Linda, initially finished them, I expressed that I did not like them because they were brassy and orange. She insisted that she blow out a piece to see the color and try to work on it further to achieve the color i wanted. I did not want her to because I had a feeling she was not going to be able to adjust the tone but she told me I was working myself up, so I agreed to try again. Again after she tried to tone them, it still appeared orange and brassy. I paid for the service ($150) and was hoping she could tone my hair so it no longer appeared orange. After I paid, she was incredibly rude and distasteful and in front of other customers had told me to go home and not return. I was clearly upset about leaving with orange hair and she then proceeded to tell me that I had emotional problems and issues. The owner Linda lacks tact and respect for her customers. She refused to give me any of my money back not even a partial refund. She told me either to go home and come back in the morning or go to another salon. I ended up returning the next day where she returned my hair to its natural color because she is unable to do the highlights correctly. I love Salon BellaDonna. Its so nice to go to a salon that cares about their customers and not one of those assembly line chains that just try to get you in and out. Ive had my hair cut, and colored with highlights there, as well as keratin. I saw them do extensions on someone. Very professional equipment. I also had my eybrows waxed and a bikini wax...several times actually. I would definitely recommend trying them out. read more
