I was browsing through groupon and found this salon because of their excellent groupon deal. Veronica (owner) was able to accommodate both me and my mom for a root touch up. My mom also opted for the haircut and deep conditioning services. The salon waas basically empty for the 2 hours we were there, peak hours on a Saturday. Veronicas team mates seemed inexperienced but had great customer service. The staff has a ways to go but are friendly and nice. The color they used on our hair was beautiful, ammonia free and left my hair looking shiny and healthy. read more

This place! So, I have always been an edgy kind of girl, now woman. However, I've always had the same hair. Long, very long. I've had some highlighting and dying done in the past but nothing to extraordinary. It was time for a change! Absolutely sick of my hair, and the damage. So I sought out to find a fantastic salon. Someone who could bring my sad looking head of hair back to life again! I've heard of so many diffrent places to go to. However upon checking reviews I decided otherwise. At my wits end, I decided to try a diffrent area. I then found this awesome gem: soho studio for hair! The reviews were Great! So I took a change and booked a very last minute appointment! They were very nice on the phone about it, and paired me up with a sweet young lady named ruby! Upon arriving, I walked in and was greeted warmly by ruby! She was very sweet And so helpful from the start! She took me around and showed me everything. She than began to consult with me and asked me every detail of what I wished to be done. She was also very honest too, what would look better, and what would not. I cannot thank her enough for that! I also met the owner of the salon, who was also very nice and very helpful. She also engaged in the consulting and also helped with my hair too along the way. I had finally decided on a blue black hair coloring with a short undercut faux hawk. I had one pic to go by. They pulled it off to the *T* !!! Goodbye long hair as I laughed. It was such a fantastic experience as ruby and I had such great convo! We clicked! And I also feel that's so important too! She showed me all she was doing and what she was using! No surprises, that's the way it should be! The end result is that my hair totally looks and feels amazing!!!! It's healthy again! Ruby was great and my hair was not fried or not damaged as others have done in the past. It was perfect! And my haircut? Wow! Unique as the I am! And I keep getting fantastic comments on it now! I will tell anyone I know to go to this place! You just have to! They're great, they're professional, they're not just gonna sell you any color or just chop your hair, they're gonna consult you first. I followed Jasmine here as she moved from another salon. FYI she's a rockstar! The place is nice, located in a strip mall, and the staff are friendly, you can tell they treat each other like family. When you walk in, everyone smiles and greets you, there is no gossip amongst the stylist, as their all engaged in conversations with their clients. I had the keratin extreme treatment. I expected it to have a shine as I have had this done before elsewhere. Before and after pics were taken. The after pics were nice as is expected after a blow dry and straightening iron. The treatment didn't last beyond three shampoos! It cost me $190. I used keratin shampoos day conditioner, one shampoo and washed once a week. I think for that price there should be a money back guarantee. Keep your money and go where you know the person recommending the salon. read more

Unbelievable find from central Jersey. The owner Ginna is awesome. She is kind, knowledgeable and knows her hair. They offer olaplex services and are very reasonable. I have long hair. I received partial highlights, shampoo, cut and blow dry services, including a free take home gift bag for under $200. I could not have been happier. I've been here a few times to really give them a shot. First, the staff are really nice that I have interacted with. So I really wanted to like them. They greeted me very nicely upon arrival. The cuts I have received were pretty on point with what I wanted. Unfortunately, it stops there. Based on all the stylists I've had thus far, none of them had any real styling skills that met my standards. They left my hair looking very droopy and without shape. One time, I went right from the salon to meet my friends and they took one look at me and said: "What happened?" So, in short, the cuts are AMAZING, but the styling needs more work. read more

I came in as a fixer-upper; an attempted dye job gone wrong. My hair was completely fried and the silver I wanted came out a horrible greenish hue. Ginna and Nicole were absolutely amazing! Even though I had to go pixie cut to take off the dead length, Ginna executed the cut perfectly. Not only that, she was determined to restore my hair back to its healthy state with proper hair care and a beautiful chocolate color that brought out my dark eyes and olive complexion.
