I got into a car accident and had a fair amount of damage on my vehicle, brought it to Precision the next day and they took about 2 weeks to fix a significant amount of damage on my vehicle and did a great job!!! Everyone there is wicked nice and were not rude and did not talk down to me when I asked questions. I have my late grandmother's vehicle and she absolutely loved pinstriping and got it on all her vehicles. This was the vehicle that was involved in the accident. I am a working, college student and do not have a lot of time to come in to fix the pinstriping so they stayed open after they had closed for me to come in, the owner said the color of the pinstriping they got didn't match the one I had on my vehicle so he redid all of the pinstriping even though it just needed to be redone on one side, I was sooooo thankful!! I did not have another vehicle to use so I needed to use my mother's and she needed a rental (I am not old enough to rent a car yet) my mom was so thankful for all of their help with getting the rental as well. Kind of cheesy but my family treasures this car so much, my grandmother was very important to my family and loved this car. It has taken us to Florida, Texas, every state in New England, and then some. I am just so grateful and thankful to Precision for fixing my car!!! read more

Two weeks ago, my 8-month old mini van was hit and dented in the liftgate while I was shopping. No note left, of course, so I was stuck with paying the deductible and finding somewhere to get it repaired. I meant to go to an auto body shop on the same street as Precision, but took the wrong driveway and ended up at Precision by mistake. The staff there was very helpful and professional, but they told me their first opening would be in two weeks. I still made the appointment, as the damage was minimal and I could drive the car. The weekend before my appointment, I was driving out to a canine sports event in Western Mass when a turkey ran in front of my car. I couldn't avoid hitting it, and now I had damage to the front end as well. :-( Dawn at Precision was wonderful helping me sort out the second insurance claim, and arranging to have an adjuster come out to see the new damage right away. Thanks to her assistance, they were able to fix all the damage during the week they had previously scheduled for my car. I brought it in on Monday, and it was ready on Friday afternoon--as promised. And it looks like new--inside and out. Really! I have four dogs and this is my dogvan--loaded with crates and lots of other canine paraphernalia. So when I say it looked amazing INSIDE as well, that is high praise. The folks at Precision Autobody really saved the day for me and my critters. Highly recommended. read more

I had a near perfect experience at Precision Auto Body. The shop is clean and welcoming. Charlie Bouffard prepared my estimate and repaired my car, detailed it inside and out, and even somehow managed to include the replacement of a tire that had a dangerous bubble in it: all for the original estimate, to the penny. Ready when promised, clean and vacuumed, on budget. They could have easily said that the tire was something they noticed after the estimate and that it would cost me more to replace it. Most body shop offices are gross- functional but dusty, very uninviting. Precision was neat and clean,there was a normal waiting room with chairs, magazines, bowls of candy. I was happily greeted, the woman called the rental company immediately so they would be there soon. My car was promised by the end of the week. She called Friday morning to let me know that it would be done by 4, and they were opened until 6. My car looked great. They even detailed it- like getting into a brand new car! It's rare for a company to go above and beyond, and Precision has done that. read more

Great experience and delightful service. Had to get a bumper on my truck replaced and the owner Charlie came out himself and looked at my truck. He was very pleasant, upfront, and honest about there work that had to be done and why. As soon as I said I want the work done he immediately started ordering the parts and got me in the garage within a few business days. The work was completed and I was back on the road in no time. They worked on the car & it was never right. the screws keep falling down. I brought it to J&R auto which I trusted. They said it wasn't done right & they tried to tighten the screws. Over the the front fender cracked like they glued used fiberglass to seal it. The rubber in between the tires & the fender dropped when I was driving because the screws couldn't hold on. DON'T GO THERE!!!!! read more

Our experience with Precision has been nothing less than outstanding. My daughters Honda got pretty badly dinged while living in New York. There was damage to front and rear fenders with some minor damage on the rear door. Quotes from a few Long Island body shops were outrageous, so on a recent visit home, we took her car to Precision. Their total price was about half of the highest Long Island quote and several hundred less that Ultra-Shine (who we dealt with a lot before they went "Hollywood"). Since this was an out of pocket repair, price was clearly a factor, but not at the expense of quality. We checked with some prior customers and checked out their reviews. So, they got the job. The work was done quickly even though we told them there was no rush and the car looks fantastic. Every seam is perfect, the paint is flawless. I'm not exaggerating when I say the car looks like new. I've had good experiences with Precision. They repaired my car when it had extensive hail damage. The owner Charlie went over it with me carefully. (and he threw in a free oil change) They arranged for a rental car to be delivered and secured the rate that my insurance covered. A year later, the car was totaled, and Charlie and team helped have it transfered to the dump etc for me, and again got me a rental. I would use them again. read more

I was involved in an accident on October 21st where damage was sustained to the front and rear of my vehicle. I drove my car to Precision Auto as they were recommended by my insurance carrier. I was told the car would take approximately 3 weeks to repair. Although I was kept informed up status, I was given a barrage of issues from the after-market parts ordered didn't fit to the OEM light was defective. Finally, on November 8th, when the car was supposed to be finished, I was called and told that they had not actually repaired the rear bumper, even though they had the car for 3 weeks at this point and the work order clearly stated there was a rear collision. They offered to give the car back as is in exchange for $350 off the deductible, which out of complete frustration, I initially accepted. Within 5 minutes I reconsidered and I called my insurance company and expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the situation, primarily because they recommended the body shop. They agreed, expressed this was unacceptable, and said that at minimum the body shop should fix the car, give me a rental and honor the $350 off the deductible. Within 15 minutes of the discussion with the insurance company I received a call from Sherry Bouffard Fichtner who very flippantly said to me "I guess your wife didn't like our offer and called our Liberty Mutual rep." At the time I busy and I replied that I need my car fixed asap and Sherry said they would fix the rear bumper which they had not originally done. Within 5 minutes when I was no longer busy, I called her back and told her that my wife and I had called Liberty and that they had said that Precision Auto should honor the car repair plus the $350 off. Sherry argued this point and finally relented and confirmed that she would call Liberty Mutual, communicate that her and I had spoken, and honor the deal. When I arrived home, literally 15 minutes later, I was informed that Sherry would NOT honor what she had just told me 15 minutes earlier. Again I called Sherry and argued with her for 10 minutes before she AGAIN agreed to honor it. She specifically said that when I picked it up I would only be charged $650. On November 9th, I was called and told the car was ready. When I picked it up I was told I was being charged $1000. I was absolutely taken back by this as well as the incredibly rude tone of the women behind the counter. I asked for Sherry who came out and in so many words told me she owed me nothing and did her job, even though she had agreed to the above terms not even 24 hours earlier. I informed her at the time I would be contacting the BBB to which she replied "go ahead." I am completely blown away by the incredible unprofessional way Sherry Bouffard Fichtner and her shop do business. I would never recommend anyone have their car repaired there. read more

Horrible service! I took my car there after an accident and I completely regret it. Caused so many problems for me. The owner, Charlie, is very unprofessional. I took my car there on Saturday, and he told me it would be ready Tuesday, I call on Tuesday morning, and the girl who answers the phone told me she'll have Charlie call me, I waited hours, called again, same thing. Then their office closed, same thing Wednesday. Finally, I talk to Charlie Thursday afternoon, he says it'll be ready by the end of the day, I call again, the girl at the desk has no idea, and Charlie was unavailable, so I just went over, and Charlie spent 40 minutes ignoring me, and I'm waiting for my car. Finally, the receptionist tells me it'll be ready Saturday. I ask why, and she said it's not done. Since they have my fairly new Honda SUV, I decide to be nice and say alright. I call Saturday, same bullshit - I just went over and told the receptionist I want me car regardless of whether it's done or not. I wait 1 hour in their office and Charlie's wife (?) brings the car out. I asked why there was delay, just blah, blah, blah... Charlie wouldn't talk to me, they had the clueless receptionist take over. Anyway, I completed the paper work and left. But, it's not over yet. I had a not-at-fault accident, so the other person's insurance is supposed to cover my rental car, and they refused to cover it for so many days - I called me insurance, and that insurance and explained that it was in the body shop being repaired. I guess to cover his ass, Charlie told my Insurance company it was ready on Tuesday, but I didn't pick it up! WTF?! Why would I drive a fucking Kia for a week, when I have a brand new HONDA PILOT? I ended up paying $350 for the rental, and I'm still fighting my insurance company for this. Horrible experience! read more

I was extremely pleased with my recent service at Precision. My little Toyota Matrix was rear-ended by a pick-up truck, and needed the rear bumper and rear body panel replaced. Dawn kept me informed of the progress every step of the way, and everyone that I spoke to about my car was professional and friendly. The icing on the cake was when I picked my car up, and found it detailed from top to bottom--it looked almost as new as when I drove it off the lot. Mind you, cleaning my car was no small feat--I hate to admit it, but, my car was disgusting! Years of English Mastiff drool had built up on the windows, and fur was literally embedded in the carpet and upholstery. I was so embarrassed, yet utterly thankful and impressed that someone had taken the time to clean the car so thoroughly. Besides the fact that the repairs were done wonderfully, the car looks great! They even took care of my rental car for me, which only added to the ease of the experience. Great job everyone! read more
