They kept changing the day and time they planned to arrive, and I had to wait over a month for service. Once received, I wasn't happy with the front tree cut... it wasn't cut high enough. Long story kinda short, received a proposal from joe on 3/5/19 to remove 2 trees the crew came out on 4/16/19 delayed due to a combination of weather & scheduling but cut down one wrong tree. Finally came back out 4/24/19 to remove the correct tree but I have to wait until Friday for the stomp to be removed. Picked precise because the proposal seemed fair & I saw great Reviews only wish I could have echoed all the great things other customers said they experienced. Good price,not so prompt service. Staff friendly over the phone & crew foreman was nice but felt like I was getting the run around & didn't feel it was fair to have to wait a week for them to come back out. read more

This was the third or fourth time I have used Precise Tree Care to remove or trim trees on my property. Each time the estimate they provided was much less than others. This job was coordinated with Com-Ed who had to drop the power lines to the house so the work could be done. The coordinated efforts were executed flawlessly and the Precise crew was quick, efficient, and incredible to watch. Not only were they working on the trees on my property, but they were also doing removing a couple of trees next door where my mother-in-law lives - one of which was a huge Mulberry. When they were done, they cleaned up so well that you could hardly tell they were even there - except for the missing trees that were removed. Don't waste your money with this company, I called the owner Gus twice to complaint about the poor service and he never returned my calls. The first person that came to spray my trees for fungus never did any work when I called the company they said he did. They applied the 3 treatments and I see no improvement on my trees when they said 3 applications would take care of my problem. I just wasted 390.00 for bad service and no results. read more

Christina, as I stated, for this kind of service, it is set up on a bill pay plan, which is fine with other businesses. Also the reason the contract was returned 2 weeks after you came out was because I had to contact you for it after 2 weeks. Your crew did a great job. But I would advise you to use better judgment when you instruct Renee to call someone on a Friday night at 5:00 when they may have had a bad day at work, & are finally on their way home. At that point anyone would be unreasonable with someone getting right on the phone & demanding payment from someone who had the goodwill to let you know I set you up on bill pay. Really? You just don't do things like that. That does make you look bad, & in need of the money. Thank your crew, we appreciate their work. And good luck to you to get full payment in this economy. Services preformed by Precise Tree Care 12/22/2015 : ( 2 - 60' Pin Oaks) Climbing Spike Damage Approx. 24+ per tree. As I Researched this can cause massive amounts of bark loss due to spike wounds "from ISA Arborist proarbor.com". They stated possible tree death?? Then there is the possibility of spreading Oak Wilt from un-sterilized spikes?? I have consulted with a ASCA Arborist as he stated that I definitely have concerns for Tree Health due to Spikes. We have used Gus and his tree staff three times in the past year to cut down 16 trees from our home. Gus is easy and pleasant to deal with. He and his tree cutting staff took suggestions from us on the cutting removal process to avoid potential damage to our sodded landscape and sprinkler system while they removed the felled trees and ground them. They promptly showed up at my home and we went through the details of the work to be performed as they shared they knowledge of the effort of work that it will take and provided recommendations of their own at the same time. The quote I received was not absurdly high, but did prompt me to take some time to level set their bid and give them the opportunity to still win the work if they are willing to work with me on their price. We had a ~50 foot locust tree that had to come down as the seed pod cleanup in the Autumn was some painstakingly tedious work. I solicited some local companies for quotes based off their current Yelp reviews and their estimate came in way better than those of their competitors. The process of approving the quote can be done online which I preferred. While their initial quote acceptance email made it sound like it might be a week or two before they could fit me on their schedule, I received a call within 24 hours looking to schedule the next day already. You don't have to be there while the job is being done so no scheduling time off work on short notice. This company isn't just a guy with a chainsaw. They showed up with a crew (I counted at least 5 contributing at one point) and the heavy equipment need to quickly take the tree down in a single afternoon. Even though we didn't ask about it until they were on site already, they went back for an additional truck to load up several extremely large piles of branches I had gathered from clearing out an overgrown easement adjacent to my property, for what I considered a nominal additional fee given the time and labor it would have taken me to dispose of them through the village branch pickup process. It was only like 5 days from my initial quote request to never having to rake up tens of thousands of locust seed pods again. 10/10. Would do business again! read more

They were suppose to trim a few branches from each side of a tree on property I owned because the neighbor had been complaining about it covering his garden. If the renter had not come home when he did and stopped them,,,,there probably would not have been a branch on the tree left. The tree was planted on the property 60 years ago... it was beautiful. When they were done with it... it looked like a Palm Tree. I called several times and talked to the receptionist... the owner never called me. The receptionist set up a meeting at the property on a Sat (I rearranged my whole schedule)... he never showed up..nor did he call. I called and asked where he was... I was told he had to help his crew. Been nice to have had a call. I was very unhappy with the way my tree was trimmed, but they didn't seem to care that I was an unsatisfied customer cause they had their money..
