First, this company givens the impression the the doors are made in Southern California, where they say they are based out of. When I ordered my doors, I was told they were 12 weeks out. Three weeks before my doors were due to be ready, I confirmed they were still due at the end of May. I was very surprised when the first week of June I was told the doors had not yet arrived at port. In June 22, I was told they arrived at port and needed to go through customs. The end of June I was told they had confirmed the doors would arrive at the warehouse on July 1st. Every week since then I have been being told confirmation is next week. Is next week ever going to come? I am now at 20 weeks, still no doors and still being told next week. My project has been on hold for 6 weeks as we cannot go forward without the doors. I was very excited about this company and intended on purchasing my garage doors through them as well. Very disappointed in this business they are unprofessional. I replaced my front door, two gates and a railing. During the time of design and before I paid my balance in full my calls were being answered promptly the manager would follow up and provided his cell phone to use for pictures and faster correspondence. Once I paid my balance good luck trying to get a hold of anyone. I noticed another review mentions the same thing wish I had read through the negative reviews more carefully. I wanted to ask about the touch up paint and I was trying to match other parts of my front yard to the color of the gate took months to get a response was very frustrating they would pass me off and no one would follow up. More recently I contacted Haig to discuss modifying my existing railing as I was changing my front steps he assured me this could be done and specifically explained we might keep the inner design and change the outer rods I sent him pictures and renderings from my designer. I started my reno project changed the steps and then called them about the railing modification. No one responds for 2 weeks after several follow up phone calls having to explain the same thing over and over. Then they assign an office assistant to call me and relay "we're not going to do it." Front desk person's phone etiquette needs major work. You're very transparent in that you don't want to take on a job that's not as lucrative but you could give me the courtesy and respect of at least coming to take a look at the project and giving me a quote. Or at the very least get on the phone yourself and explain. "He's very busy" is not an appropriate response. There are a lot of other companies and individuals who do iron work I was able to find another person to help me. I would steer clear of them bc they sell hard but then drop off with customer service. read more

First I'll start off by saying I don't understand how this company has stayed in business so long. They have no communication skills, or knowledgeable answers, you get passed on individual to individual and to you eventually you may get an answer. Realizes I write this it is October 17th of the Year 2022, my door was initially ordered I believe August/September of 2021 with a promise delivery date of the middle or end of January. I paid my 50% deposit which was done in two increments because of a trip to Hawaii and I had no intention of the day I went in I've actually ordering a door but I put 25% down after my 25% down and my trip to Hawaii three days back I put the additional 25% down now the problem became of them not having a record of me paying 50%, they swore and down over several months that only one payment have been made but get their own paperwork is showing two payments at two different dates one by Zelle the initial date the second one by Zelle maybe a month and a half later now realize this only became an issue in March roughly because I had not heard from them in January prior to January or February the only reason I heard anything in March is because I'm calling for the status of my door which they're telling me Oh it'll be here in a week or two but no explanation of why it's not here now March comes and goes April comes and goes May comes during May once again I have to reach out to them and I'm told oh now it's due to the pandemic with order fulfillment but ironically when you look on their website seems like they've been having this issue for a long time. If at any point someone in this company management upper management or owner had reached out to me saying hey Maurice we're having an issue with fulfillment it's going to be a little longer that's acceptable but it seems like no one cares no one cares that I plan on my door being delivered in January as promised and with the work that was already going on in my house prepping for that door to be installed did anybody stop to ask that this man pull out the front of his house with the anticipation of a door possibly being delivered opening my home up to the elements to have no response from anyone no courtesy phone calls nothing. Then surprise I look on Yelp and see miserable reviews for these people the worst part about this is the fact you're blaming the pandemic for Supply shipment. I recommended almost 10 people to your company blindly, after I placed my order fortunately only 2 place an order with a 3rd losing interest because you did go out to her house but never followed up with her, so she lost interest. What was the point of sending someone out to take measurements all of this information then you never follow up and this was after she called your company several times to follow up on her appointment. The ironic part is the people who ordered after me but have received their doors(finally and recently) BEFORE ME. Supply chain shipment huh? I would never recommend these people I have several other friends who have used other companies their doors came in as promised? and scheduled, I guess this is the only company supplying doors with supply chain issues. Oh and being fair October 6th I did receive an email from them and forming me from here out I'll be receiving an email weekly for the update status of my door 11 days later no new emails but they did say the door is at the port now ironically two days before that I was told it hadn't shipped from China yet. read more

buyer beware , these guys took twice the amount of time they quoted me to get my door and when they came to install it the installers were your typical rude type contractors coming in my house I asked them to wear a mask and they snapped at me telling me not to leave my room till they are done, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I had to call headoffice and complain but if they do that to me it means they have been doing it quite awhile. They also didn't read the directions on my lock and didn't know how to install it and broke that and made me go to home depot to buy a new one. buyer beware I would recommend plenty of other company's. Hello I hate to write this review but I am being totally honest. This is my last resort because I can't seem to get a resolution. I will start from the beginning. I started talking to Arthur from Precise doors back in November of 2021. He gave me a few quotes. I reached out to Arthur to say I wanted to buy a door but I was concerned about the reviews. He assured me that he would do right by me. I want to be honest I think Arthur is a good dude but the follow up has been terrible. I finally ordered the AVANT 65 x96 door on 12/30/21. It took a month for me to get my door. I live in the Nashville area and my door arrived here but the shipping company could not get it to me. I missed work 3 -4 times waiting on them to deliver my door. I reached out to Arthur to tell him what the shipping company was doing, he promised somebody would make it right. That never happened it just started being a bunch of finger pointing. They eventually sent a guy to deliver my door. It took 4 people including my self to get the door delivered even though I paid for Liftgate delivery, it arrived on a hot shot. The door was moved in my garage Jan. 25 and moved to my new house in June. I reached out to Arthur to let him know that I discovered upon opening the door that the handles were bent. He said no problem I will send you some new handles and give me a day to get the shipping and arrival timetable together. That was June 27th of this year. It has been almost 3 months and I have called the office numerous times and sent emails. I have even texted his cell, no reply just being ghosted. I told Arthur that I would write me review and be honest and I will give a company every chance to make things right. I could have written this review 8 months ago. I do recommend this place for sure. So I had an ugly old door that needed to be replaced with a nice one. I called around and even went to a few iron door shops but they didn't have many items in stock for sale and had to be special ordered. After finding the website for precise iron doors I called In and talked to Arthur. He was very genuine and helpful and made me feel at ease answering every question I had in detail and thought me about the left hand right hand opening of the doors since this was my first house remodel. knowing that their customer service was good over the phone I thought to stop by and see what they have at their warehouse in Sylmar where I met Vic the manager. He was also very nice and helpful to make the purchase easy and offered extra services and delivery at no charge. So half way my contractor took a long time and the door I purchased stayed in their warehouse for a long time but they were nice to keep it until the construction was ready for it. We purchased a new front door a few years ago from Precise Iron Doors. From ordering to installation everything went very well. The door was exactly what we wanted and we had spent months looking for our door from other companies. The installer was professional and the door changed the entire look of the front of the house. Everyone that opens the door, comments upon how solid and attractive it is. We ordered another door for a side entrance to match the front and this took a bit longer. We decided to do this during Covid, so we were expecting longer than normal delivery times. Again, the installation was well done. When we ran into a hitch with our lock and deadbolt, Haik fixed the problem for us and we are very pleased. I found the company to be responsive to any email I sent. I wrote a nice email complimenting the team and asked for a can of spray paint just in case of any future touch ups. Almost a month later still no reply. Pretty bad at following up and following through. Unless I checked in and followed up with them every few weeks, would have never heard anything from them - they were never first at communicating. I called the end of September you guys pushed it to October 2021 , I called October you guys pushed to November 2021 and the months just keeps on getting pushed back . we ordered a door from this company back in September. it was promised to be delivered by the end of October. we are building a new house and cannot close without the front door. our builder has called countless times and been told the door is in a shipping container, for he last several months, but still no door. we called ourselves because the builder keeps getting the run around. they told us the door would ship no later than today and they would call us with the shipping info. We didn't get a call as promised, so we called them and were placed on hold multiple times still to get no answer. Finally we're told now the shipping day will be Tuesday. I doubt that will happen. They make promises they don't keep and we still have no door 5 months later and we paid for the door in full. The owner is never available to speak with, nor is the so called shipping department. As far as we know, they don't even have our door , but they have our money.Don't order from this company!!! Do not buy from this company. The shipping, the customer service and quality of the product are in inferior. First of all, it takes forever to receive what you ordered. It took Four months for me to receive the door. Second, the daylight transport service they use only had one man to deliver and unload a 900 pound door. So, my husband had to get up into the semi truck trailer and help push the door onto the pallet Jack then off the truck into the driveway. No idea how the delivery guy would have done it without my husband home... Another reason I would never recommend this company is their customer service is awful. The door I received measures only 76", and I ordered an 80" door. The guy I talked to, Harry, said that I would just need to buy another door. WHAT!? This is their mistake they should fix it! Then, Upon looking at the quality of the door I'm not impressed by the mediocre welding job and what I think is a powder coated exterior of the metal. It's a very thin coating that looks as if it will rust by next year. In conclusion, don't buy from this company, you will be highly disappointed by the service and product you will receive. Randomly called PID on a whim since I had one iron door in mind. I had spent many months and lots of my own time doing my research and homework. I was SO blessed to fall in the hands of Mike Mkrtchyan. I was told someone from their team would call me back and Mike did. He spent a lot of time going over details with me and reassuring me that their work and doors are the real deal. I knew from the initial call that this was the company I would hire to custom make our doors. Not only did we order a double door for our entry way, but I also ordered a custom single side door as well since I was that confident in Mikes team. He offered to go above and beyond for my husband and I to show us the show room (virtually since we're located in Chicago) and make us feel at ease. I have been extremely stressed and anxious with ordering these doors for so long that I am now finally at ease because of Mike and his care. I am 1,000% confident he won't let us down! I am ok with being patient and trusting his knowledge every step of the way. After all, the BEST things come to those who wait.
