I want to start by saying that I do not write reviews! I am making an exception because of how Harry and Haik and the PRECISE IRON DOOR TEAM handled our project from the beginning. I have been in construction sales since 1975 so I know a thing or two about the business. The PRECISE IRON DOOR TEAM exercised great patience with my wife and I throughout the entire process (even when I was a pain in the rear). The doors arrived very close to the planned date and were professionally installed the following week by their crew Arthur & Ashot who were great (Thank you Arthur & Ashot). WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH OUR PRECISE IRON DOUBLE DOORS, THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! We opted for the full windows that open with the magnetic screens (which are a must). AGAIN, COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! Here is the icing on the cake!!! I messed up on my casing installation and scuffed the finish on the exterior of our new doors and was so distraught that I put a small piece of tape over it so I did not have to look at it, then bought a wireless doorbell to cover it up for several days until I got the courage to call with my confession and this is what they did. They told me that it was not a problem and scheduled the repair which was done today by Raffi and I can now look at my doors again without being bummed out by my blemish (Thank you Raffi). They refused to take any money for this repair which was my fault and I expected to pay for it. That is beyond customer service 101! These doors are a substantial investment in your home and out of all of the options IRON DOORS are in my opinion the best decision you could make and the PRECISE IRON DOOR COMPANY DOES A GREAT JOB!!! I had done business with Precise Iron Doors before, Arthur to be exact, but not for a major project. I was extremely happy and satisfied with their work and the service they offered. So when time came to remodel my back patio, I knew Arthur was the man to talk to, to make my patio door. I went to their office, gave him an idea of what I had in mind, and we set up a date for him to send someone out to come and take the measurements. Super professional and fast and easy measurements, that's for sure. After the measurements, they gave me the price, and I was extremely satisfied and happy with the price. I contacted a few other places and I was quoted much much more than the price Arthur gave me. He showed me some samples, I chose the glass I want, and the color and all that, and surprisingly, there was no price different in my choice. He then provided me with a rendering of the door, and I loved it. Even better than what I had pictured. It wasn't until after I approved the rendering where I had to make my first of two payments, and it was the 35% deposit. He told me that because it is a custom order, it would take about 8 weeks. They were very prompt with the timing, because a bit earlier than 8 weeks later, Arthur called me to schedule the installation. The installation team was super professional and it only took them 2 days to finish the installation. They knew what they were doing that's for sure. I absolutely loved it! The quality of the door is excellent. Definitely heavy and sturdy. I then made my final payment, after the installation, and was super satisfied with my overall experience with Arthur and the rest of the team at Precise Iron Doors. I will definitely go back to them for all my future projects, and will recommend them to all my family, friends, and everyone on Yelp! read more

I initially had a conversation with a gentleman named Arthur, who was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with my door order. When I visited their showroom to explore the various styles and options available, I was honestly impressed by the extensive variety of choices. Arthur and I sat down together at a computer to go over the various options. After careful consideration, I ultimately settled on the Nashville design, a choice that Arthur mentioned was highly favored among customers. Additionally, I opted for the screens, which are a crucial component when you're getting an iron door. To initiate the order, I made a deposit, and throughout the door's production process, I frequently reached out to Arthur via email to inquire about the progress. His responsiveness was commendable and made me feel well-informed and supported. Looking ahead, I received a call informing me that the door was ready for installation. What impressed me further was the fast turnaround time - the installation was scheduled for the very same week the door was completed. The installation team arrived at my home around 9:30 am and managed to complete the installation by 3 pm, which, in my opinion, was incredibly efficient. They even handled the installation of the locksets and all the other necessary components on the same day. Received my door and gate last week and I had to take the time to come here and write this review to show how happy I am. First, I called and spoke with Arthur who assisted me with my order. We did a facetime call and he spent around 2 hours with me showing the options on the doors. We went over the design options, glass, color, and the screen options that were available for me to choose from. Fast forward, we finalized the door and he insisted for me to do matching gates which I am glad I trusted him with this. The following day he sent over blueprints of the door and gate showing the measurements, design, color, glass, swings, etc which helped me visualize them. I had a few changes I wanted which he had the designer make those changes instantly and send it back. I approved the designs and they started the production of the door and gate. Every few weeks, I would email or call Arthur and check on updates on the order which he was very responsive with updates. Fast forward last week, he called to notify me the door and gate are ready to be installed. I was expecting them to install in a few weeks but he notified me that he can have it installed the same week, which was last Friday. I was shocked and happy at the same time so I confirmed the appointment. The installers Ashot and Andre came out at 9am on Friday to start the installation. It took them around 6 hours to finish everything including the door and gate. The workmanship and care of these installers is incredible because they took their time to cover the inside of my house, covered the floors, and made sure my tiles were not damaged. I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Precise Doors. In mid-April, I purchased an iron door with the promise of delivery and installation by mid-June (Invoice #14636). Since mid-June, I have been calling every few days to speak with Harry, who handled my order, but I have never received a response. Despite speaking with Surly and the order tracking team multiple times, I was consistently told the door would arrive a few weeks from each call date. On my most recent call, I was informed that the door would not arrive until the end of August. This means I have been waiting for three months without any resolution, wasting valuable time when I could have gone elsewhere and had a door installed already. The false promises, lack of communication, and overall poor customer service have forced me to request a cancellation and refund. Instead of speaking to someone directly, I was instructed to send an email, to which I have received no response even after 24 hours. I am now left with no choice but to leave this review. If Precise Doors addresses this issue promptly by either delivering the door with significant compensation by the end of this week or processing a cancellation and full refund, I will revise or remove this review accordingly. However, if they fail to respond or take appropriate action, I will maintain this review and escalate the matter further by filing a dispute with American Express and sharing my experience on additional platforms like Google, Yelp, and BBB. This experience has been incredibly unprofessional and disappointing, especially since I am a reseller who had intended to give Precise Doors substantial business. read more

Read the other 1-star reviews before doing business with these people. There are dozens of them. I wished I had. I have owned a construction business for 23 years and Precise Iron Doors is the worst vendor I have ever done business with. My experience parallels the very numerous other 1-star reviews, I was promised my doors in 60 days and in my case, received them 11 months later. One gentleman waited 17 months. Every month the receptionist told me my doors would arrive at the end of the following month. If you order doors, get used to hearing this. Haik or Mike or any manager will NEVER return a call or email. Like many other people, my 350 dollar door knob was not in and I was told they would "drop ship" it 3 or 4 days. After 4 weeks of the receptionist telling me it was on its way, I had to order another expensive knob from a different manufacturer for my customer. Like many other people I will be filing a suit to recover my damages. The door that I received was not the one I ordered, but thankfully my customer reluctantly accepted the shipped one as they didn't want to wait another 11 months. I encourage readers of this review to view the pics that other 1-star reviews posted showing peeling paint and corrosion after just one year. The doors are made in China and I believe the extensive lag time is due to them having to get enough orders to fill a shipping container before the doors are shipped. Words like "Crooks" and "Thieves" are used extensively in the 1-star reviews and these words coincide with my feelings about Precise Iron Doors. BUYER BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! read more

When we were building a Mediterranean stucco style home we decided that a double steel door would add to the Mediterranean theme and add curb appeal to the house. After spending quite a bit of time researching steel doors online we came across Precise Iron Doors Inc. (preciseirondoors.com) and were very impressed with the designs they manufacture and the use of 12 gauge steel. We decided to go with the Venice (72'x96") style double door. The price was very reasonable compared to other manufacturers with simpler designs and with thinner than 12 gauge steel. When I contacted the owners of Precise Iron Doors Inc., Haik and Art, I was treated very courteously and very professionally. They were very accommodating when I asked if the door width could be a bit wider i.e., 76" vs. 72" and to add an extra hinge on each door. The door looked very well made in their online photos but I did not know what to expect when I received them. The door arrived intact. My builder and I were taken back with the workmanship, design detail and attractive Medium Brushed Copper finish. They exceeded my expectations. When they were installed they fit in the frame like a glove and opened and closed with great ease with no squeaking or binding. I could not stress enough how impressed I am with this door. Haik/Art it has been a pleasure doing business with you. We subsequently ordered three iron gates for entrances to the back yard and garden from Precise Iron Doors. After going back and forth with a few companies who install iron doors, I found this company's prices to be unbeatable. I had spoken to Arthur who had made this entire process such a breeze. He sent me their link to choose what type of design I would like on my door, just looking through the pictures you could tell how great the quality of their doors were. We purchased a home in Phoenix AZ with the intent of doing a whole home remodel. Part of this remodel was to replace our small uninviting front door with a statement piece to welcome visitors. The service and quality of the doors is the best part of my experience with this company. I must say Art has to be the most knowledgeable person in the door industry. He explained me every detail about the doors and how they are manufactured. I provided him the sizes and he first initially gave me an estimate and suggested for his tech raffi to come out to measure correctly. He scheduled an appointment for the following day and raffi showed up on time to measure. Later on that day, he gave me a call to discuss the pricing and all details. From the original estimate to the final invoice, the pricing was almost exact. The pricing was a bit cheaper in the final invoice because my door was smaller than i had measured. Fast forward, they came out and installed the door today. The door I had picked was available in stock from the selections they had. They installed the locks and everything the same day, covered the floors and my furniture inside to make sure no dirt entered my house during the demolition. They asked if I needed my old door and I said no so they took away my old door to haul away. Talk about a professional company and an amazing experience from start to finish. Our door came extremely well packed, all the way from California to Raleigh, and there wasn't a thing wrong with it. Installation was relatively easy though we had to make a small adjustment in one of the hinges. The touchup kit works very well too, only needed it on a tiny scratch from adjusting the hinge. Be aware that the stock item was advertised as medium copper actually came in very, very dark bronze, exactly like the photo! Which works very well for us! Also keep in mind that the frosted glass on the inventory doors is not at all see-through, it is a heavy frost that let's in some sunlight but one cannot see through it. As an afterthought I might have wanted to order a more transparent glass, look at the choices. I am not sure they can offer the choices on their inventory items as those, as I understand it, are already packed up. But it is gorgeous nevertheless, we are more than thrilled. It was very worrisome to order from so far away but my rep, Arthur, was absolutely assuring and helpful and professional. We have continued to ask for him for various little questions such as how to take care of the door! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for their iron double doors! read more

PID installed our front doors two weeks ago. I've been waiting for to write a review just to see how the doors will hold up for about 2 weeks or so. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and are thrilled. PID is the company to contact if you ever need a wrought iron door. They helped us through the entire installation process, om designing to planning. We looked everywhere, but we couldn't find any company in Los Angeles that would manufacture and install iron doors all in house. Our doors would have been made by another company, but we would have needed to locate a different person to install them. It was a pleasure working with Haik. He is very professional and upfront with his work. We wanted to do some designs on the door we have but he didn't recommend it saying it will be too busy so we listened and we are happy we did. He showed us blueprints the following day which was exactly what we were looking for since we wanted to see the vision if the door. It looks perfect the way it does now. We love our new doors! Edit: Originally had an issue resolving a paint issue with a door jam but Arthur reached out and we came to a solution that worked for both parties. Thank you Precise Iron Doors for delivering a great experience as well as a good product. The selection and process of picking out a custom door was an awesome experience as was Arthur in helping to pick out the exact product that would fit our style. The door arrived in a timely manner and we had some communications about how to hang the door jam. When we opened the Jam and found bubbles in the paint we reached back out to Arthur on August 24th. On August 25th we recorded a video showing all of the spots. On October 24th I reached back out to Arthur and today November 14 made my final call without having any response from the company. I want to say that I could give this company a 5 star rating because the doors are beautiful but in spending $4,000 we expect the jam to look just as good. The lack of communication and pure sense of being ignored has brought me to leave a negative review about Precise Iron Doors and my experience. read more
