Delayed my delivery, knew about such for 2 weeks and I didn't find out until I called them to inquire the status. When they finally decided to send (only 4) doors of the full, (2) were scratched and their response "this is how these doors come to us. Also, the scratch in one of the pictures is a surface scratch, it's not a dent or anything deeper. Please understand that are no real issues with the way the doors came." Absolutely terrible customer service and communication and why should my new doors come scratched and dented? I WOULD NOT recommend this company to others who want quality products and good customer service. Absolutely terrible experience read more

CBW Doors - Door Sales/Installation Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Frame is very flimsy for an extremely heavy door. I noticed the frame bowed before it was installed and they said this was normal, yet its still uneven in the exact areas it was, pre install. The door will not even close when it rains out, not even a Year after it was installed. So we spent 5k and ended up with the exact same issue we had with our 20 year old door that we replaced for this exact reason during our remodel. Also, some of the hardware is loose and about to fall off. I would not purchase this door again read more

Just like the previous low marks for CBW, I come with the same complaint and frustration. During the hot days in the morning, front door facing east, there is expansion on the door which restricts us from opening the door until about noon. I've had our installer come out 4 X this week to resolve the issue and he states it's a manufacturer defect. I was cordial all week with the staff but obviously there's no urgency on their end and I pretty much reached my boiling point. If this was a purchase I'm sure it'd be a different story. Their verdict was it's the installer and we have no one to go out and check it since we're too busy. I usually don't write reviews and unfortunately will never purchase from CBW again. The product isn't bad at all, it is the service that I never want to deal with again. read more

AMAZING company!!! I am soooo happy that I stumbled across CBW Doors as I was looking for a custom modern door of which another company quoted over 20k for. I showed them the door design I wanted and they fabricated exactly what I was looking for and less than 1/2 the price! The customer service has been top knotch! My rep Jason responds to all my emails quickly and kept me informed every step of the way and even coordinated with my Amazon purchase of a smart lock and got it installed. I am super happy with my door and I cannot ask for a smoother transaction, delivery, etc. I think this has been one of my best purchases! They truly deserve 5 stars, I'd give 10 stars if Yelp allowed that. read more

We purchased a front door for my sons house 4 years ago. It came out beautiful, and our contractor just fit it in, great quality, and the price was very reasonable. I need a new front door for my home, I went down, they are so amazing there, showed me different options, and helped me decide on design. Sam the owner took me around, and the feeling you get was the pride they have in their work. I put another order in, and over the years I have recommended them to friends and family, and everyone has been very happy, read more

I don't know where to begin, at first it was a door that I fell in love at first sight, but that quickly changed, this door and the makers of it CBW have been nothing but trouble. At a heavy price of almost 5k dollars this door was suppose to be the highlight to the face of the house , just like a smile is to a persons face. But within weeks this door has shifted and twisted creating gaps almost an inch wide, the door frame is bent out of the door jam, almost impossible to open or close due to the pressures the wood was exerting on the Frame of the door That even top of the door had a visible bow/ bend ,which is visible in the images. I contacted CBW in regards to the issue on this first occasion, but all CBW tired to do is to put blame on the installer and on me. They kept giving me the run around claiming I'm the only person that is experiencing an issue like this, but I have a very difficult time believing this considering how busy they are with local service calls. On this first occasion CBw did come out and replace the panel and when they came out This door panel was under so much pressure we had to use straps around the door just so the panel wouldn't snap in half, it even cracked at one of the connecting panels once it was partly removed by CBW employee. After the panel was replaced with a new one , within a few weeks the door once again has begun to shift , twist and bend the frame out of shape, seals are falling off , the door corners are beginning to sag and protrude from the door jam making it difficult to open and close , difficult to use the key to lock the door. this time there is visible one inch gap at the top of the frame to where you can see directly outside. Once again I reached out to CBw In JUNE 2019 and I have yet to get a service date. I am so frustrated with this company , they are so irresponsible and unprofessional ,communication is horrible, service is almost unheard of. All I'm asking is for the door to be fixed and made back into a door, a door that will protect my family and I . But currently this is not a Door I can trust putting my family behind it If interested in more information please don't hesitant to ask , I will gladly tell you my honest opinion read more

I really like my door and have had many complements on it. I even had a couple stop by and ask where I purchased it. It's all in one (frame and door together), so installation was easy for the contractor and the door is very strong. The door is not cheap, in both price and quality. I'm very happy with it. read more

This place deserves 5 stars all the way. We bought a front door from CBW that is made extremely well, looks unique, modern, and beautiful. Plus they have phenomenal customer service. When I was shopping around for a door, I stopped by their shop twice because I wanted to see the quality of their doors. I was extremely impressed from the start. They took me on a tour of their manufacturing warehouse twice, where I was able to look at the quality of their craftsmanship, compare wood varieties and look at the products they use. They gave me a reasonable quote and I never felt like they were pressuring me or pushy in anyway. They listen to my needs and answered all my questions. Once we were ready to order, Jason was extremely thorough and always responded to all my numerous questions quickly (ie; what top coat do they use, installation questions, wood specs...). They delivered a beautiful door two weeks earlier than expected, face timed me when I had needed help with the installation and even sent out a replacement part, same day, on a piece I had broken. Sam called a few days later to follow up and ensure I was happy with the door. Will, Sam and Jason all contributed to a wonderful experience and we look forward to purchasing additional doors with them in he future. read more

Sam, the owner, of CBW, came to us in Sacramento to show us the doors and sign us up as a dealer for showing and selling them. The doors looked beautiful, he seemed enthusiastic about his product and claimed they would take care of any service issues that may arise. Two of the doors that we bought and sold have failed miserably and for the past 8 months Sam at CBW has refused to come out and fix them. On one of the doors, the wood used, has shifted and warped. CBW did say they were looking into getting a different type of wood that would perform better, but they still have yet to come out and switch it out for our client. On another door, the frame twisted and bent. The client has sent them numerous pictures per their request, and they still after many months, have refused to address it and come out and fix it. This company has been very irresponsible and unprofessional in their business practice. If anyone has any questions or needs further information about them, please don't hesitate to message me. read more

Possibly the worst experience with a company I have ever had. The company did not stand behind a door that leaked through the door. We helped to come up with a solution because the company did not. They state they stand behind their products but buyer beware, we did not see anything but horrible customer service. Still awaiting resolution from this company but they refuse to be proactive at all. I need to chase them down constantly. I am very frustrated with this company. read more

Just like the previous reviews CBW, I come with the same complaint and frustration. We payed and did everything they asked. waited over a month, received the door with the locks installed backwards? Wrong door handles, And a door that squeaks louder than anything you have ever heard! All for over $7k. Left numerous messages and emails only to be ignored. Its been over 3 months not ONE call back. Terrible service! I feel like they took the money and don't give a crap about you as the customer! Very Cruel, BULLSHIT ARTISTS! BEWARE! read more

I searched for many companies to manufacture a custom door and when I found Oren's company I had to look no more. I showed them a photo of what I was looking for and they right away began to work. Oren was very professional and was in communication with me at all times even after installation to make sure everything turned out good. Highly recommend CBW Doors! read more

CBW Doors - New Front door - Door Sales/Installation Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Unprofessional from the get go. The first sales person (Savanah) got the entire order wrong the first time around. Next, I worked with the manager (Wil) to get my order sorted out, I paid the deposit, and he assured me the order would be sent into production right away. When I called 2 weeks later to check the status, I was informed that the order never started production at all. Finally, I worked with the owner (Sam) who also assured me he would take care of everything and deliver the door 2 weeks later. He did deliver the door as promised, but in the wrong color (Silver instead of White Powder). I've spent the last 4 weeks trying to work with them to solve the problem with no success. Every time I call it's, Sam is out of the office, or Sam is here and will call you back--but never does. Now my client is stuck with an expensive door they hate. It's clear that there is a lack of leadership and professionalism at CBW. For a high-priced custom door company, CBW exhibits no sense of pride in their product and customer service. CBW Doors is an amazing company. We shopped for a front door for years and never quite found the perfect one... until the window company (Fusion Windows and Doors) we were working with recommended we check out CBW. We had our hearts set on the old Carina Door but was heartbroken when we found out they had changed the design... but with Sam, Kate and Emily's help, we were able to custom design the door of our dreams and it turned out absolutely beautiful! If you need a new door, don't hesitate to reach out to CBW. You won't regret it! read more

I found this company by chance! I have always dreamed of having a pivot door, but estimates from many manufaturers were really out of my budget. The doors are well priced compared to other manufacturers. I was almost ready to give up and just go for a regular door when i happened to see this company on the internet and to my surprise they could build me a pivot door. They are local, so very accessible if something needs to be addressed, they are very nice and accomodating and they delivered my beautiful custom door at the set time. The door is installed and looks amazing! Very happy with Emily, and Sam delivered my door in person and gave instructions to my contractor. Cannot wait for the house to be finished and the door to take the place of honor in the front of the house! I would highly recommend them! read more

After a lengthier than expected process, I can finally say that I am very very happy with my beautiful new door. Sam and Will at CBW did everything they could to meet my expectations and, although some cross-state shipping delay issues came up (which was out of everyone's control), CBW stood by their word and product. My huge modern double oak wood doors are BEAUTIFUL and like nothing else I was able to find in the northern California area. The product is even better looking in person than online. After installation, the door unit needed some minor tweaks - but fortunately CBW came up in person from LA - TWICE - to personally ensure the door worked like it should. It now works and looks great; I recommend CBW to anyone looking for a high quality modern door made by a small business that stands by its word. Thank you guys! read more

I am sure if you are a local customer they respond to requests for resolving defects more quickly. But if you are not local beware. They are quick to take your money, but very slow to resolve issues of craftsmanship. The locking mechanism in the door was undersized and quick working within a month of installation. It was screwed in place with a mishmash of unmatched screws and poor build quality in the door did not allow for the three point locking system to work properly. Still waiting after more than six months for resolution to the issues. We have been very patient as we waited to resolve this situation, but they are not a good option in my opinion. Good businesses stand behind their products and resolve issues quickly. read more

Still trying to resolve the horrific experience I had with CBW Doors. Looks like small claims court is now the only option, after months of trying to contact them and resolve it without resorting to legal methods. I have lost almost $8000 and still don't have a new front door. I had a custom door made by them, and they built the door a full foot wider than the specs and refuse to even talk to me to offer any way to fix the issue. The process started in June, and the incorrect door was finally delivered mid-September, taking weeks longer than I had been guaranteed. Will is horrifically bad at his job and flat out lies and makes false promises left and right, and I was sure the owner, Sam, would be appalled when he learned of everything Will had done. But I was wrong, and instead he flat out yelled at me multiple times when I finally got him on the phone after he had come unannounced to my property and verbally harassed my boyfriend. Like other reviewers have stated, it's next to impossible to get Sam on the phone - he's very good at avoiding unhappy customers. Aside from the fact that the door is completely unusable in my house due to the wrong measurements, the entire process of working with them was remarkably terrible with lies and incredibly bad customer service all along the way, and I have it all documented through emails, invoices, phone records and even doorbell video camera footage. Sadly, the incorrect measurements are just a small fraction of what went wrong, including the entire design being different then what was agreed upon and them not being able to provide the color I asked for. No solution was ever given and they refuse to take my calls or answer my emails. The fact that they have any happy customers is shocking, but I truly wish I'd considered all their negative reviews from other people who have had similar situations and still have no resolution. It's truly disappointing that businesses can get away with behavior like this. read more
