The MRI Machine is old and clankey appearance, don't know how sharp the images could possibly be. Place has a old kind of just outdated. They do not spring for comfort. Clean waiting room and restrooms a little far from home but near my bf house so I just walked here. They do mris xrays, to other things. They also make sure to give you a urine test for females to make sure they are not prego. If you have any concerns you should get checked. read more

While their services rendered were satisfactory, their handling of the bill was poor & given to collections rather than given to my attorney. Now I have a bad record on my credit report for something that's not my fault. They did not call me and leave a voicemail about the bill when I would've directed them to my attorney. In fact, my attorney recommended me to attend Precise Imaging. I attended here due to an auto accident caused by someone else. The bill was supposed to be given to my attorney as it's part of a lawsuit against the driver who hit me. The bill was supposed to be under litigation. Instead, Precise Imaging submitted it to collections without leaving a voicemail or any proper form of notification, and they refuse to contact my attorney to resolve this manner. I feel like they have a short fuse on bills and will immediately submit them to collections rather than getting a hold of you to fix errors & miscommunications properly. read more

This place is really great! The facility was nice and clean and the staff were super accommodating. I had been running late due to exceptionally bad traffic, Lulu at the front desk was super understanding and managed to still get me squeezed in. There's tons of free parking in the back lot that's just a few paces away from the entrance. The waiting room is spacious and clean. All and all great experience and service. Several weeks ago I smashed my left foot on a door sill and figured the swelling and pain would just go away by themselves.(it didn't) It was recommended to me more than a few times to have an MRI to diagnose the injury and make sure there is no hidden damage. I was referred to precise imaging and made the appointment. When I arrived at the office, I noticed how relaxed the office environment was. I was greeted by one of the co-owners and got started right away with the testing. The MRI technician was extremely professional and knowledgeable, he explained the entire process from A-to-Z in layman's terms that were easily understood. The entire process took about 50 minutes from start to finish and was painless. To conclude, precise imaging is located in a very nice building, has a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a very accommodating for appointments and billing options. read more

This is my second time at this office and I'm glad I came back. The first visit over 3 years ago was for my mother. The experience with the staff and service was so good, I decided to come back for myself when I needed to have some X-rays done for my right foot and later, an MRI. Looking at some of the negative reviews, I was shocked considering the 2 times I've been here, the staff have always been attentive and extremely friendly. Communication during the appointment process was always accurate and concrete and I never once had any misunderstandings with whomever I dealt with. Here's the issue - if you pay cash and later send the bill to your insurance for reimbursement, your insurance carrier will require a "diagnostics code" missing from Precise Imaging's report. Precise Imaging will refuse to provide a written diagnostic code on the report if you pay cash. Then the insurance carrier (one of the big ones, starts with the letter "A") refuses to pay your claim. The reason Precise refuses, and I am quoting the explanation given by Precise Imaging's accounting representative " Our computer software cannot provide the diagnostic code to patients who pay cash upfront. It will only provide the code in reports when we bill the insurance company. There is no way to give you the code now, we cannot create another report with the code since you already paid cash." So thanks to Precise and their antiquated IT department - I'm out $250. Gee, thanks Precise. Trying to save the healthcare system by going to a low cost provider and the system screws the patient. read more

I went to Precise Imaging due to a chronic shoulder pain. I was recommended to this imaging center by my doctor. I couldn't be happier with the experience I had. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. I was walked through every step of the MRI process. I was very uncomfortable while the MRI was being conducted, but the staff kept checking on me and making sure I was okay. Really great people there! When my primary healthcare provider quoted me a price of $589 for an MR Arthrogram, I decided to see if I could find a better rate elsewhere. I called Precise Imaging, and they told me that the rate at the Marina Del Rey location was $450. I confirmed multiple times that this price was correct & complete (includes all aspects of the procedure - dye injection, etc). They confirmed with absolute certainty that yes, it was. I later called a second time, spoke to a different staff, and confirmed independently once again: $450. So based on this information, I canceled my existing appointment, drove to my doctor's office, obtained a referral, and called Precise to make the appointment. "Actually, the price is $600 - sorry you were given the wrong price (twice, by two people, with multiple confirmations)." So...feeling stupid for having wasted all that time, I called back my primary provider to re-schedule the original appointment...but by then it had already been taken and the next available wasn't until weeks later. I called Precise one last time to appeal directly to the owner in hopes that she would do the ethical thing & take responsibility for her company's misinformation, honoring the promised rate. But no, she would not honor it. While I presume this was just a result of poor organization, given the circumstances I would expect a reasonable business to at least take responsibility for their own mistake. But direct from the owner: no, they will not. The result is that I'm now left waiting 3 extra weeks to get a rescheduled appointment back at the original facility, and having wasted hours of my time for nothing. EDIT: After posting this review & e-mailing it to them, the owner contacted me directly. She explained that the misquote was a result of a glitch in their new system and apologized, but stated that her cost was $575 and thus the procedure could not be done for the quoted price. After another couple phone calls, she eventually agreed to go down to $500, but only if I drive to a different location located an hour away. On one hand, she did sound sincere & the multiple calls seemed indicative of a genuine effort to make things right. On the other, it was a bit disappointing that the effort didn't begin until after I wrote a bad review, and ultimately, driving a 2-hour round trip for a price that is still $50 higher than I was quoted doesn't really make it worthwhile. So in the end: it was a disappointing experience, but I did appreciate her (eventual) effort to try and meet me (sort-of) in the middle. read more

the medical records department is horrible, we requested a CD of films and paid for it, didn't hear back from them, called and left several messages and emails and still no response, when I called and asked for a supervisor, Randy said that there was no supervisor, then he said he was the supervisor, dishonest. I kept asking to speak to the supervisor and he put me on hold. never was able to speak to a supervisor. this place doesn't know the difference between a request and a subpoena. I would never recommend this place, when you have them bing dishonest about a supervisor I can only imagine how they are dishonest about other things. read more

This was my first time at this place and I was confused by it. Was it medical imaging or the stock market??? Very chaotic and the girl at the front desk was having multiple conversations onher Bluetooth very loudly. The screaming of patients names was a bit too much as the waiting area is 5feet away from her. The two guys at the front were a lot calmer and professional but the girl appeared angry with her life. I heard way too much personal information about other people just sitting in the waiting room, i highly doubt that is legal. read more
