I had to get a CT Scan for the first time, and Burbank Advanced Imaging was one of the more…read moreconvenient locations. Since I'm not familiar with this kind of thing, this was supposed to be a scan 'with contrast dye' which meant I was supposed to have some sort of 'ink' injected so the reading would be more clear. Well, I went to lay down in the donut-shaped machine, and no injection was ever given, so I had no idea what was really going on. The tech quite frankly could have been friendlier or just friendly in general (South Asian male). The automated voice that directed me was more helpful than he was. The one standout was the receptionist by the name of London; she answered my questions best that she could and was all-around pleasant. When I inquired about why there was no 'contrast dye', she said my doctor forgot to send me for blood work, so therefore, no dye. Obviously, this is not something I would know about but results came back fine. Unfortunately, as health care rates can be a surprise in this country, I also was hit with an EOB of $700+. If I had to return, I would be happy to see London, but would ask if I could somehow get another tech since this one I had could use some improvement.

I booked this company to do my SneakPeek gender sample collection + ultrasound. They tried two…read moretests on me and pricked me twice and weren't able to get a good sample for the gender test. Which is fine, I understand sometimes things happen. The company (Sneak Peek) offered to let me have a retest done since they weren't able to properly do it the first two times, all Bun + Oven had to do was administer the retest since that's the company I had gone through. They are saying they can't come unless I purchase another ultrasound (another $200) and there's nothing they can do. I never even received the photos from the first ultrasound they did. I'm so excited to become a new mom and really thought I could trust this company and that's why I didn't just order a test through the website. I spent over $350 with them and got nothing I paid for and they just weren't able to come to any type of resolution. I live in studio city and they're based in studio city. Just heartbreaking that people can really take what's supposed to be someone's happiest moments and make it a money grab, and I should've never trusted them. If you're thinking of doing any kind of blood draw with them I highly advise you not to.

I thought I was going to puke in fear, but because of their kindness they calmed me down. They even played music to my liking and touched my back to sooth my nerves during the procedure. Really grateful because it was a painful procedure. Needed all the nurturing I could get from the lovely, smart and thorough ladies. Also the Harry Potter decor is a fun touch. Thankfully it was easy to figure out where to park because of the instructions sent to me, but the parking is down a scary steep and tight curvy driveway so I had to go very slowly. Once underground I easily found parking near the elevator and went straight up to the department. As the elevators opened I was awed, from outside the building looks like a regular building, but when you come out of the elevator suddenly you're transported into a luxurious waiting room, so peaceful, spacious and beautiful. Staff is friendly, from the front desk all the way to the procedural area, everyone is kind and explains everything. When I was taken to the changing rooms and I changed into the pink gown, I was surprised how soft the gown is. Why can't all gowns be so soft???????? I could not stop touching the soft material, it is so soothing!!! Once I was taken in for my procedure, I was very impressed by the Doctor who was performing the biopsy, he was very compassionate and professional. Between him and the staff helping (who I'm sorry I don't remember anyone's name), I felt very at ease. What I expected to be painful I barely felt, and they informed me of every step along the way. Afterwards I was given these cute little ice packs that stick to the area along with some extra supplies in case I need at home. If I ever have to have this done again (hopefully not though) I would definitely come back to this location.
