They made me pay $500 out-of-pocket for an MRI because they couldn't get clearance from my insurance company. So I had the necessary MRI and ultimately the insurance company paid $330 approximately. I haven't been able to get my money back from them and finally they said they would reimburse me for the $330 that my insurance paid. I feel I should get $450 back which is the $500 minus my $50 co-pay. So they are scamming out-of-pocket people. I guess we all need to investigate what insurance would pay before we pay anything out-of-pocket. Also they tried to get my husband to pay $1500 for an MRI when the insurance was slow to approve! Luckily it was approved and he wasn't going to pay the ridiculous amount anyway . Make sure if you go there and you don't have insurance you check the prices at other places because they are taking advantage of people with no insurance. read more

AWESOME!, Kai Kim is an amazing MRI technologist! I'm terrified of needles, especially when it comes to getting an IV. I told Kai about this, and he was incredible. He made my entire experience so much easier. It was a long procedure, but he made it feel like I was only there for 30 minutes. He was super friendly and helpful, and he really understood my fear. I know I'll need more MRIs in the future, and I'll definitely be coming back and asking Kai to do them. read more

After waiting over 2 hours for someone to finally answer, to make an appointment, just my luck, a very rude person with a really bad attitude answered. Then she put me on hold, and the call got disconnected! I appreciated that she called me back. However, I didn't appreciate how rude she was when she called me back and accused me of hanging up on her! It took me several attempts to explain that while waiting on hold, the call got disconnected and I didn't hang up on her!! OMG, horrible service!!! read more

Poor communication. Change appointment times without confirming with you but leaving a message is good enough for them. Wife had appointment at 1pm but they called at 9am to leave a message because I work nights, I didn't get the call. So we show up but the tech that does mammograms has left for the day. Renaissance Imaging in Northridge... What a great location! Located just off Roscoe, just east of Reseda Boulevard. My appointment was for 10:30 AM on Saturday. My whole appointment/experience went very well. I got there filled out two sheets of paper sat down and got called back a few minutes later. Roger was a tech that was doing my imaging and he was really nice. My scan took around 30 minutes. It was easy, peazy! If you have any issues with claustrophobia or anything, just keep your eyes closed. It can be as easy as that. Fortunately I don't have that problem. They give you a really good ear plugs for the sound and it's not bad at all. Kinda actually put me in a little bit of a trance. Thought maybe I could go to sleep lol I was relaxed. parking was great on a Saturday! No issue. And the great thing is is that they validate... Thank you Renaissance Imaging in Northridge. I have been coming here for years now and the quality of care is above amazing. Front the time you check in to the people who help you with your services . The mammogram staff is kind and makes you feel comfortable. They truly care about your wellbeing. I am a high risk patient and I have to have an ultrasound every time I have a mammogram and usually every 6 months. Lusine has been my technician almost every time and I can't begin to share with you how wonderful this lady is. She is very professional but loving and kind at the same time. She makes you feel comfortable and she genuinely cares about you. She truly wants to get to know you so she can provide the best care possible . I can't imagine her not being there when I've had to face some difficult times. She gives me peace knowing I'm in the best hands and I'm getting the best care. She is truly an angel. read more

When I came in this morning for my mammogram, I must admit that all of the reps (i.e., Livi, Juan, and Imelda) were great! However, the rep Livi who assisted me was so extraordinary as she had the most amazing customer service. She exuded genuine kindness, care, and helpfulness! Be prepared to go to work late if you have work after your appointment. I made an appointment at 7:30am so I can get to work after work. I guess the imaging tech called the center to say that he will be late to work. They will never inform you and give you an option to reschedule and have you just wait in freezing lobby. They don't seem to understand people have plans. Prepare to wait for hours for your appointment. read more

I like this place so much more over a RadNet outlet (which has been more than problematic for me in the past). I walked in today for an X-ray, was respectfully told me it would be a 45-minute wait, but was done and walked out under 30 minutes later. This fantastic. Most give you an optimistic time estimate, then it ends up being much longer and is frustrating. I greatly appreciate given good info up front on the wait time! I had a doctor prescribing me to go to this location for an ultrasound. Elizabeth the appointment person had me sent photo of my prescription and she couldn't understand the doctor's note saying she needed to talk to my doctor to know more. I called her about 6 times since and all i got is "leave a message, she'll call you back" she NEVER. Their recorder sure talks about how excellent staff and modernize equipment blah blah blah. Yet they can't even read doctor's note and did not return my calls. I had my doctor's office call them and they too got voicemails. They finally faxed in the detail info for reason of my needing an ultrasound and my doctor told me to call them back to make the appointment. I said NO. I called Glendale Imaging Center. They understood my doctor's note and after 2 weeks trying to get appointment with Renaissance crap! I got an appointment the next day with Glendale Imaging Center with one call!!!! read more

This is by far the worst laboratory I've ever dealt with. If a patient truly needs urgent lab work, going here could put their health at serious risk. The phone system is a nightmare--you can be on hold for an hour or more just to reach someone, and then they schedule your appointment 3-4 weeks later. For many patients, that kind of delay could mean their condition worsens or even becomes life-threatening. A medical lab should provide timely, reliable service, and this place completely fails to do read more

This place is amazing . I came with very low expectations but the staff is outstanding friendly and professional and eager to help you with a smile each and single time I was here . But today the experience was out of this world .. For instance Ally and Sarah went out of their way to help me . Sarah made a cd for my previous mri needed to be seen by my surgeon Monday morning ( today being Saturday afternoon) and for the knee where I had appointment for next week on another location farther away and inconvenient I was able to find out that someone was canceling and fortunately coming here to ask for the cd of my previous MRI and because that person scheduled canceled I was able to take their spot with Ally 's help . After she did the protocol to call the person one more time to make sure is not late coming in his/ her way ( the person was waaay late and passed the hour) she was trying to retrieve my referral from computer to fill me in the spot but the system was down . No problem for Ally She went above and beyond and called the other center in Panorama city where I was supposed to go next week and she asked to forward to her the doctor note with the description and approval from my insurance . Was extremely helpful cause now I have all my cd's with me to my appointment Monday morning otherwise I would have to go back to the doctor after the second mri supposed to be done by next week .. I can add that the technician Kennedy was also super sweet and nice. Overall an outstanding experience from A to Z . I cannot find my words to describe what a beautiful feeling such a positive experience creates when you are in pains and in limited mobility.
