Came in to repair an arm that snapped off my sunglasses that got caught in the sliding door of a van. Dale was quick to take them in and solder a new hinge on to put the arm back on in less than 30 minutes, and bent the arm to its original shape ! If you want fast, friendly service at a great value (~$30 for repair), there is no other place to go in the area for eyeglass repair! read more

Went in for a minor repair and the customer service was prompt and amazing,. no need for an appointment. Highly recommend!!!

I have a prescription pair of glasses and one side felt loose. My husband is an engineer and thought he might be able to fix it though that was unsuccessful. This place was recommended to my husband. Not only were my glasses fixed quickly and perfectly, he was going to not charge us because to him it was easy and didn't take long. However, we gave him money anyway because it took his experience and expertise to be able to repair them in a short amount of time. read more

My eyeglasses were in desperate need of repair to both flex hinges; I researched eyeglasses repair on-line and realized that Precise Eyeglass & Frame Repair was the place to go. Although the location isn't close to where I live, I was very glad I made the journey. The owner was extremely helpful and within 10 -15 minutes had replaced the hinges and arms to where they are now more comfortable and better fitting that the original ever were and at a price that has convinced me that old fashioned, great customer service can still be found. I don't usually write reviews, but my experience here has compelled me to do so and made me a customer for life. Thank you. read more

The service here is amazing! They came highly recommended by Lens Crafters. Not only did the fix my Grandmas glasses who is in hospice they did it in under 20 minutes. Also, at a fabulous price! What a life saver!!! I'm not from this area so relying on reviews was a shot in the dark. Best quick decision ever!!! read more

My first time was last year when my temple frame came off. It was glue together with no problem. Excellent job! My second time was two months ago when my puppy dog mangled my entire frame. He performed a miracle by putting it back together again! read more

Pleasant and efficient eyeglass technician, fixed two pairs, in under 20 minutes and only charged me $20! A really awesome experience! read more

This place is great! I broke my glasses by sitting on them while visiting family in Ohio and totally thought I'd never wear them again. I found this shop here on Yelp. The owner Dale literally said, "I've seen worse...I'll have them ready for you in 30 min!" Totally reasonable price for the repair as well. Thanks Dale! read more

I've used them twice, and on both occasions the service was excellent. Can't recommend them enough.

I had badly damaged my sunglasses and felt it was unlikely they could be repaired. much to my surprise they were easily repaired and are just like new. This place is great and highly recommended! read more

Eye glass repairs while you wait! Perfect motto for this business. There is nothing more satisfying than having someone fix things that are broken. I had a pair of glasses that had broken and after trying to find someone to fix them, I was told to check out precise eyeglass and frame repair. I'm so glad I did! When the place from where I purchased the frames originally told me they could not help me and the manufacture of my eyeglasses said they did not make them anymore, I was out of luck. Instead of purchasing a whole new set of frames and lenses, this doctor was able to fix my broken frame within 10 minutes. He gladly asked me to wait, and I did. You are welcome to drop them off and come back in--but it was a simple fix and did not take long at all. Before I left, he told me that he could help me in the future with eyeglasses and that it would be cheaper coming to him. By the looks of the people he was helping in his office, I can tell that he is correct! People know him and know he does his job well. He is well-known in the 'eye' world and gets the job done. As I was waiting, I overheard another man tell him the same exact thing: his doctor could not help him but sent him to precise eyeglasses! Within the 30 minutes that I was there, he was able to help five different people. He was very polite and kind. I did not feel like he was trying to sell me anything but instead was trying to help me. He did very well in managing all the aspects of his office, as he works for himself and by himself. I would highly recommend checking out this business for any repairs on glasses, including both frames and lenses. read more

Did a bang up job with my glasses. I broke the hinge on the side and was able to get it repaired quickly by Dale. Thank you!

Fantastic find! Fixed my glasses easily. Dale is very knowledgeable, fast and reasonable on price. It was so nice to not deal with a giant cooperation for this very necessary service. I can't say enough good things about this experience. It was a welcome change from most repair places and I'll be a customer for life! read more

Dale is a true professional, he is an honest and hard worker! I'm happy I found him to fix my 5+ glasses frames & lenses. He was very patient working with me (and my OCD). I will ONLY go to Precise Eyeglass for any repairs or new lenses. A++ read more

After reading Dale Thompson's comments on my review of his business, "Precise Eyeglass & Frame Repair" I feel that a follow-up is necessary in order to inform Yelp readers of our disastrous experience there. First off, it's ludicrous to think that his offer of a $30.00 refund after ruining a $600.00 frame is, "a small price to restore vision"... his words, not mine. In addition, he continues in his comment on our review to say, "At the time you seemed to think it was a great idea and I proceeded". Who in their right mind would think it a, "great idea" to receive a cheap, ugly, ill fitting pair of $30.00 glasses to replace the $600.00 pair that Mr. Thompson had just ruined? Oh, and the refinish process he speaks of was to apply nail polish to the scorched area. That is, if they had not been ruined and irreparable. Nail polish on $600.00 frames that had been scorched... yeah right! Mr. Thompson's last comment on my review really speaks volumes about his character, it reads, "Well after nearly a month im still waiting on customer to come in and get his refund.... Guess the experience wasn't that bad after all..." My review was written 10 days ago. Not, "nearly a month" ago as he states. Mr. Thompson's arrogance and his need to stretch the truth should tell potential customers all they need to know about the way business is conducted at Precise Eyeglass & Frame Repair. To all Yelp readers, read my review. Look at the photos of the ruined pair and the $30.00 replacement glasses. You be the judge. Ask yourself if this is the kind of business that you would trust to do your eyeglass repairs. More photos of our ruined frames can be posted, if necessary. read more

I was out for a repair to my daughter's frames a couple of months ago and back in yesterday to fix my frames. We experienced exceptional customer service and repairs in less than 15 minutes both times. Thanks so much, Dale. We appreciate your excellent service and highly recommend to anyone needing eyeglass repair work. We will be back. read more

Wonderful service and excellent care with your glasses. Thank you Sir for all you do.

What a fantastic service! NEVER throw your glasses away without stopping in to see if they can be repaired. Excellent, fast, friendly service. He replaced my hinge and I was on my way. Thank yoy! read more

Let's just say you spent a lot of money on a pair of glasses. Then you accidentally broke them in a way that was not easily repaired. Furthermore, let us posit that you are unwilling to spend a lot of money again to replace them. If this is you, then you should stop by Precise Eyeglass Repair. For less than $25, they can fix almost anything that has broken on your glasses. In my case, they were able to solder back on the tiny little nose pad arm that had broken off. And they did it in 15 minutes, while I waited! Awesome! read more

I found this place on Yelp (of course) and headed north to see if they had a magician who could put the pieces of my 10+ year-old glasses back together! Sure enough, Dale replaced the bridge and I was out in less than 15 minutes. The price was more than reasonable, the location convenient, and I got a demonstration of some really cool frames that bend without breaking....I plan to get them after my next eye exam. There is nothing better than quality work and good service....thanks (again) Yelpers! read more

I was out with a friend when I sat on my OGA glasses breaking the filament that holds both lenses and bending the fame. These frames were one of the few that fit my enormous Scandinavian head and cost a ridiculous sum. I looked at them and could see little angle-winged hundred dollar bills flying away to eyeglass heaven. My buddy said, "Take 'em to Precise Eyeglass on Northland. He'll fix those while you wait for a fair price." It cost me $10. Seriously. Ya, that's pretty darn fair. It actually took about 20 minutes to do the repair so I went over to Lulu's for a good lunch. And, he's a real nice guy. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and job done. read more

Lost the screw that keeps my frame in place. Dale was super kind and fixed rly quickly for me. Super reasonable w price as well! read more

Went here as a last resort and the guy sensed my desperation I'm sure. I found out I couldn't get new glasses due to insurance not covering it until May so the cheap glasses I bought to hold me over needed to be repaired after my two year old toddler got to them. Just to swap out the two ear temples cost $35 plus tax! The glasses didn't even cost that much! I'm so pissed right now and feel like my eyesight is being held hostage! I can not recommend this place to anyone. It was the closest and easiest place to get to with the timeframe I had and I am totally taking a loss. The repair literally took 5-10 minute for different color, mismatched replacements. This place is kind of a dump and everything looks crumby. Could be my mood but I doubt it. Not so humbly submitted, King Michael c. read more

I called before hand to see if it was people ahead of time to see if it was ok and I guess you failed to tell me anything like the cut off time of you do have a lot of customers ahead of you that's why I wrote this review if you would have told me that then I wouldn't have been as upset as I was read more

Friendly and convenient. I stopped in once before with a pair of plastic frames that couldn't be repaired, and decided to come back when my next pair broke and needed to be soltered. I just got here and was told I could have a seat they'd be ready in 30 minutes or less. MY KIND OF PLACE! read more

They replaced both ear pieces on a pair of glasses with a broken earpiece while we waited. Very satisfied!!

A pair of eyeglasses that I bought at Costco broke. Unable to fix them, Costco sent me to Precise Eyeglass Repair. Great recommendation. The glasses were repaired quickly and professionally. Dale was friendly, efficient, and his service was a real value. Great Job. read more

Dale Thompson's Precise Eyeglass Frame Repair Company is awesome! The arm on my expensive eyeglasses inexplicably broke off, and after being turned away from Lenscrafters where I purchased the glasses two years previously, I contacted Precise Eyeglass repair. At an affordable cost (less than $25) he soldered the arm back on and it works like new. I waited about 10 minutes. Dale himself was friendly and was appreciative of the business. What else could I ask for? read more

Again, Dale was a lifesaver, fixing my frames for the umpteenth time. While working out of state, I could find no one similar and had to wait weeks using duct tape until I came home and he fixed them. Today, no one in the shop, which BTW is far from a dump, and he promptly repaired them in about 10 minutes. I was glad to pay the ridiculously low fee. For the guy complaining about $35 for a 10 minute job, how do you expect someone to run a business and make a salary for less? He can't average that rate per hour, as proven by my visit today, and I would have easily paid double or triple for his valuable service. He is a lifesaver. read more

Thank God for this place!! Broke the arm of my Ray Bans, decided to come to precise eyeglass repair after sunglasses hut and LensCrafters were absolutely no help. They were able to solder them back together for 25$ in 20 minutes!! Wouldn't go anywhere else read more

STAY AWAY from this guy, he's nothing but a rip-off, I brought a pair of prescription glasses for $200.00, a couple days later I had trouble seeing, so I took them back and I said i want my money back, Dale gave me a hundred dollar bill but couldn't refund the other hundred for the lenses. Ya they were prescription, but nowhere on the receipt did it mention a return. O ya I cant refund a prescription lens, BS. Then my old pair of glasses came loose n broke so he welded them. After that, I called the bbb on him to file a complaint on him, the next thing was that my glasses got broken again. He did not do a very good job, I took them back in and he said sorry you reported me as I can't weld them again. SMH, never go to this rip off, he just wants to get you for money... read more

Absolutely the best repair facility I've found in Cincinnati, and I'm 70 years old and tried most all of them . The owner has always treated me with the utmost respect, courtesy and professionalism. If I could give 6 stars, I would ! In most cases he can fix your glasses while you wait and is very reasonable compared to other repair shops . I've gone to him about 5 times now, and he has been able to resolve any type of repair that I have . I guess I need to be more careful with my glasses, but when I screw up and break them, I know I have a hero in waiting ! read more

The guy that works there is pretty straight forward. He looks at the glasses and tells you the price and how long it will take to repair. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Only reason it's not 5 stars is cause the waiting room is kinda depressing and out of date (old 15 inch box tv on top of a very old vending machine). But like I said, I was in and out pretty fast so I didn't have to stay long. read more

Dale has always done a quick, proper, low cost repair for all of our family glasses - including unusual ones from Europe. He even did custom shaped lenses through a lab he uses, WAY cheaper than any place else in town would even quote. Very nice. thanks Dale read more
