The results turned out better than I could imagine and the process was far smoother than anticipated. Val came through and gave us honest feedback and guidance on our project, the bid was either lower or in line with other bids received. The part that made us go with Pro Quality was the fact that they have their own team and limit how much work gets subbed out. This way the schedule was easier to adhere to, and quality and communication were kept to a high standard. Vadim set everything up in Builder Trend so that we could easily see the work scheduled out and knew what was coming up and what to prepare for. Communication was also great and they made sure that every time someone was coming to the house he would let us know when to expect them. Even if it was the inspectors! They took measures to make sure the rest of the home was not impacted by the construction and cleaned up each day. After contacting a total of six companies to consider for the job of replacing our siding, windows,…read moregutters, and painting the siding, we decided on Superior exterior systems. The original representative that we spoke with impressed my husband and I because of how genuinely thorough he was in explaining the process and providing a very detailed, itemized list of the cost. The total cost was very reasonable as well, especially for the quality of the products we received. The office staff was excellent! The siding crew was excellent! The window crew was excellent! The gutter installation crew was excellent! However, we are not completely satisfied with the way the painting crew handled the paint project for our home. In our opinion our home should not have been painted in November because of the cold weather. They stated it would be fine. In addition, protocol was not followed by the painting crew. My husband and I found spots on the finished paint job where we could see the primer. When we asked for the documentation that showed the thickness of the paint applied in the two coats that were required, they hesitated to respond, and when they did respond they told us that they forgot to measure and document the thickness of the paint applied. A paint crew member did return to spot paint the areas in question. We would welcome a different painting crew that would do the job during a warmer season and document the thickness of the paint so that we would have written proof that it was done correctly. We are expecting the one-year follow-up inspection from the owner of Superior Exterior Systems on 10.8.24.

He didn't pressure me or make a hard sale and was patient while we decided how to move forward with this very major project. He just patiently and efficiently answered every question either in person or over text and email. Alanna in the office was great at communicating throughout - from start to finish. She confirmed our appointment for the bid, even sending me a picture of Matt beforehand so I'd know who to expect, then sent me many informational guides, forms, receipts, etc. throughout the process. She never missed a beat and was so understanding and helpful while I tried to choose paint colors - helping out where my colorblind husband could not! Our house turned out to be a rotten mess with no insulation beneath the original siding, and Matt and his crew really problem solved to help us get it fixed without going too far out of our budget. They made it manageable. When we decided how to move forward, they got it done quickly and correctly. Artie was endlessly patient with my many questions during the initial discussion phase and showed flexibility and creativity in solving problems as we hammered out the plan for my exterior remodel. Both he and Matt (my project manager) showed a willingness to resolve my every concern to make sure I was happy with the result. When I interacted with the company office, both Michelle and Alanna impressed me with their clear communication and friendly demeanor. This really is a quality operation; they're honest and they stand by their work. I chose to utilize JR Insulation partly because they could do both the drywall and insulation work…read morebut that ended up not being a good idea as they are not honest or trustworthy. We hired JR Insulation to insulate the walls (rolled batts) and attic area (blow in) of our 40x60 shop in addition to installing the drywall on our shop ceiling. They did the work, we paid them in full the second they were done but before they were fully cleaned up as we had to leave. When we returned we discovered that they left drywall mud all over on our newly painted shop man door. It was splattered from the top to the bottom of the door and very noticeable. They had to have seen they did it when they closed the door. I messaged them as soon as I saw it and they came out to clean it up that day. If that's where this ended I would have given them 5 stars. Unfortunately that is not where this ends. A few weeks later it was unseasonably warm outside and my husband was in the shop working. He felt like it was really warm in the shop for having it fully insulated and thought it was very odd. He decided to install an attic access hatch as they had not done that when they installed the drywall on the ceiling. When he opened the ceiling he found that NO INSULATION had been installed in the attic area at all. Nothing was up there. They installed the drywall and, I'm not sure if they forgot to blow it before closing the ceiling up or if they did it on purpose realizing we had no attic access so we could not check to see if they installed the blow in insulation even though we paid them in full for it, but they did not insulate the attic at all. When I called telling them what we discovered Javiar did not seem surprised at all, I told him very genenerally where the house was and he immediately knew what I was talking about. It was clear he was aware of this work not being done whether it was a preplanned thing or if he realized he had some serious stock of blow in insulation that had not been installed. It as like he was bummed that we discovered it so quickly. "Oh OK, yeah. We can come out on Thursday and take care of that for you." He did come out and install the insulation without further work on my part but had we not made the attic access we would not have known we paid them for work not done. This is a 40x60 shop with R30 in the attic area so the left over materials would be noticeable to him. He was fully aware this work was not done and he did nothing to remedy the situation. He never even apologized for it.
