We used Rhett and his company in 2018 to add a 44'x12' addition to our house - enlarged the living…read moreroom, enlarged the master bedroom, re-configured a bathroom to a walk-in closet and build a new, spacious 10x10 master bath. This consisted of detailed engineered plans, digging and pouring foundation, a new peaked roof (not a shed roof) on the addition, and new hardwood flooring in all main living spaces except the kitchen. He also removed our old cedar deck and installed a brand new Ipe wood deck, with new footings and structure. The original builder used "unique" building choices that were discovered only after removal of siding and pouring of foundation - those choices, left unaddressed, would have weakened our structure. Rhett worked diligently and with his engineer to resolve all the problems the original builder created and our home is safer for that. His carpenters built with quality - exterior sheeting was placed with care and precision, not sloppily. We added two new picture windows, exactly copying the two existing picture windows in the existing living (now dining) room. Those windows were installed perfectly level with the existing windows and one cannot tell they were added at a later date. The new deck was carefully designed, and the structure is solid and doesn't wiggle or shift, unlike the old deck. Rhett designed the deck so that a 4x8 joist was present everywhere deck boards met, meaning he had plenty of support for two boards on one joist - no one does that. The ends of each deck board were chamfered and he used stainless steel screws, each counter-sunk into the Ipe. We were so happy with the work that we recommended Rhett to our painting customers (we had a painting business at the time) who needed construction. Every customer we referred to him who hired Rhett was pleased with the work quality and communication from Rhett - I never received a bad word from the dozen or so customers who hired Rhett from our recommendation - AND we never were paid referral fees, so this review is based on work he performed for us and feedback from joint customers, not on payments made to us. We recommended Rhett because of his integrity, work ethic, and quality. Since then we have had Rhett remodel our hall bath (gut and replace everything), redo our back landscaping and add a concrete patio, peaked cover (also engineered by a licensed engineer), and pergola over the deck. The work is of the same quality as before. Lastly, we've had no quality issues where Rhett had to make repairs.

I had Leitner do three big remodels on my properties. I thought that they were reputable. The last…read morejob they did for me on my home was a major renovation in our master bath, the bulk of a $90K project, removing a tub and enlarging the shower. They did something wrong, and the shower leaked very very slowly until it finally became clear that it needed repair. They came and looked at it and incorrectly guessed that our problems were caused by settling. They then ghosted me. We hired a different contractor to do the $40K repairs. I repeatedly asked Leitner to help defray some of this cost. They hid behind their warranty, essentially saying that because it was a slow leak, too much time had passed and they refused to help. It should have lasted longer than 5 years!!! Who else's fault could this be? I guess it's my fault for trusting Leitner. I urge Yelpers to not make the same mistake I made.

Leaks observed in the following winter season after install that were never repaired or resolved. Even though it was under warranty in the contract. We also had issues with their exterior painting subcontractor who was very hostile towards our concerns of painting in the winter (cold temps and rain- we wanted to wait until spring. We insisted which drove him into a fit). The bigger issue was with the roof leak however and after contacting the Viktor the owner he offered to pay for the repairs (We had to hire another roofing company to come and fix, and also hire a mold mitigation company to remove mold). He never paid after over many months of notice. These problems are often resolved in legal mitigation with a contractors bonding company, however we discovered he had been recently sued by someone else for over $16k which drained their bond. Thankfully the other roofing company did a solid job of fixing the leak issues and mold mitigation company also did a perfect job removing mold so there is happy ending to the roof. However, do your homework on Washington labor and industries website https://secure.lni.wa.gov/ before hiring this company, or for any contractor for that matter. I hired Viktor with Provision Remodeling to hang new cement board siding on my home and remove the…read moredrywall infested LP siding which was failing and original to our home. We went through him for exterior paint as well, which he insisted on using Sherwin Williams for, as they are considered the best quality. In the process of having our home looked over to see what projects we could afford to do, we had an unpleasant surprise in finding out the previous home owners...who replaced the roof themselves...laid the roof shingles incorrectly and therefore we had swelling and imminent failure. I received quotes from four exterior siding companies, as well as six roofing companies. I could have gone with two separate companies but Viktor won my business for two reasons. He was competitive with the siding and roofing companies I was seriously considering and he was very communicative. He answered so many questions. We have never had major home repairs done. We both had family and friends pepper us with horror stories of companies giving them a reasonable price and then tacking on thousands in charges at the end. I probably drove him a little nutty with all my concerns before we agreed to sign the contract. Then, after we signed, we added on work we hadn't realized needed to be done as well. For one, I thought the rubber trim wood around garage doors was part of the siding. It is not. Ours was in need of replacement. Our exterior outlets were outdated and out of code, as they were original to the house...twenty-five years ago. We asked for our bathroom exhaust fans to be replaced, which were accessed via the attic and that led to finding out our master bath vent was never even hooked up...just a fan box buried in insulation. That answered why we kept having motors burn out every two to three years. There was trim replacement which was unplanned for as well. There were a couple of delays, but Viktor was always responsive and reassuring when those happened and the work was not only done but done so well I've had multiple people, in the neighborhood, comment on the quality of the final job. His employees are friendly and patient with my curious George mind...asking about every little thing, as I just never stop asking how things work. He even went above and beyond. I ordered a new sliding patio door from a door company he works with all the time and when they were not communicative, Viktor followed up with them to find out what was going on. The additional charges for the work added after contract signing was very reasonable. I am fully confident in my recommendation of Viktor and his team. They are perfectionists, professional, patient, communicative, and friendly. I am very happy I chose to give Provision Remodeling my business and would do so again.

He did not have the capacity to work on my project but he came to support the completion of a difficult time. I moved into my home in February 2021--during a snowstorm--and by March, we noticed rainwater entering the house. Over the next several months, I spoke with more than two dozen contractors, most of whom had no clear idea how to fix the issue. Eventually, we hired a contractor who replaced the siding, but unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem either. That's when a friend recommended I call Jacob. From the moment he arrived, Jacob listened with patience. He took the time to hear all the details--my concerns, what other contractors had said, and he carefully reviewed all the photos I had taken. He didn't do any physical work on the project himself, but what he did do was shift the entire direction of the process. He coached me on how to speak with contractors, shared terminology I should use, and--most importantly--he told me I was likely looking for the wrong kind of specialist. Though water was coming through the siding, Jacob suggested the issue was probably with the roof, specifically the "cricket." Following Jacob's advice completely changed how contractors treated the situation. I started getting better responses and more respect. And he was right--it was the cricket. Once that was addressed, the problem was finally resolved. Since then, I've called Jacob again for advice on another project, and once again, he offered clarity and insight that helped tremendously. Jacob has become a trusted advisor. His knowledge, experience, and thoughtful communication make him someone I would absolutely trust to manage a project from start to finish. I can't recommend him highly enough. Thank you Jacob!
